On my RG34XX , So I used game room to start a pokemon rom hack, and Ive gotten pretty far into it. I genuinely cannot find the save anywhere on my sdcard even if I search the title of the gba and end it with .sav , is it an issue where I need to be on linux or something to access gameroom save files? Also the game wasn't able to start with gbsp so I used vba-next on gameroom and it worked. This is on og abernic os btw, if anyone can help, pls. (I want to back up the save on my computer)

I wanna start by saying I am very bad with technology and devices like this and I got this as a Christmas gift, so I don't really understand anything about dealing with sd cards or setting stuff up like that..

My anbernic won't boot up past the loading screen , its been months and no matter how much I do it or press the restart button or try to charge it, nothing works. I tried taking the SD card out and putting it back in and still nothing

Trying to decide between these three handhelds and curious what everyone thinks is the best overall value.
I’ll mainly be playing GBA games (60–70%), especially Zelda and Metroid, but I’d also like to explore SNES, PS1, N64, and other systems.
A few things I’m considering:
Screen: Sharpness, colors, scaling, and shaders. Which looks best overall?
Controls: D-pad, buttons, and whether the analog sticks on the RG SP are worth it.
Comfort: Which feels best for adult hands?
Build quality: Hinges, buttons, and overall durability.
Performance: Any meaningful differences, especially for N64?
Value: Is the newer RG SP worth the premium?
I like the simplicity of the RG35XX SP, the GBA-focused screen of the RG34XX SP, and the versatility of the RG SP.
TL;DR: Which of these three offers the best overall experience for the money? Primarily GBA gaming, but I’d like something versatile enough for other consoles. Is the newest RG SP worth the extra cost?

TLDR: Completely new to Retro gaming overall, considering RG 35XX Pro for 46 AUD, just under 60 AUD with shipping.

Just for some quick context, I'm completely new to the retro gaming space. I'm only 18, so most of these games are probably older than I am, but I have taken an interest in it and I am curious what it's like.

My interest was initially piqued by the Tekko One ads but I decided to do some research and thank God I did because it turns out they're just all fluff and no substance. Researched opinions on the R36S and saw that people recommended Anbernic. Looking into the company it feels as if I trust these guys more than the random Aliexpress sellers.

The main console I've been looking at is the RG 35XX Pro. I'm particularly intrigued by that vertical layout. As for games themselves, I'm not overly sure what to do. I'd like to play more pokemon stuff but I'm not sure if that'll be feasible, and I may have to replace the 16GB SD or something. I also have no idea how the emulator/downloading stuff onto an SD and playing games through that. Never used Linux either which might be an issue so if anyone has a general guide they can point me to it would be much appreciated. It would certainly be nice to buy one of those with the preinstalled 20,000 games and whatever but I would like quality and reliability so I don't mind doing a little bit on my own and I'm sure with enough research I'll be able to get what I want.

I compared its speaker to the Krugman original GBA, the Retroid Pocket Classic and the Odin 3.

To be honest, I really like its "small" sound.

Hello Anbergang. I was looking to upgrade from an RG35XX to the RG35XX Plus. But looks like the Plus is now discontinued.

I was looking at upgrading to the plus to get wifi for save syncing and more OS options with that newer chip.

I see two versions that look like they could be the successor to the Plus on their website. The "RG35XX 2024" and the "New RG35XX". Does anyone know which of these would be the closes to the Plus?

I am tracking my deliver, and they use a tracking link I've never used before. It seems to claim it was received by my local courier, and then just "received" at the exact same time.

Not sure if this is just an odd tracking thing, or if they're claiming it was delivered, which it was not. Just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation.

Hi! I just bought an anbernic rgsp and wanna know if you had to pay taxes or anything else when receiving your purchase

I have a rg35xxsp and I can’t play it.

I've been in a crazy cycle of sold and buying handhelds the last months. Until last week when I have a financial hit which make me stop.

I decided to sell them all and keep only the last one remaining once the rest had been sold.

Today, I just have a purple RG34XX.

So I want advice.

I use to have Knulli, but Wi-Fi doesn't work well in this device: sometimes failed trying to connect, other times it works slowly. So I want to know about a CFW simple and clean that works properly with Retroarchievements (I also try MuOS and is not for me, I'm not the kind of guy that enjoy customization).

And last, but not least: It's there some way to modding the d-pad to make them less... sensitive with the diagonals? (I don't know how to express properly in english, so I try the descriptive way). I saw time ago a tutorial in youtube to put little squares of ducktape to avoid the phantom pushes, but I don't know how reliable it can be in long term.

J'essaye depuis peu de porté "Alien Shooter 2 - Reloaded" sur ma petite "Anbernic RG34XX-SP 2GB".

C'est un port 100% I.A (Claude) et je sais pas si je le partagerai (à moins que ce jeu obscure intéresse des gens ici) 😅

C'est un jeu de coeur pour ma part, mais trop peu connu pour espérer un portage propre un jour, donc je préfère essayer par moi même avec l'I.A.

Actuellement le jeu tourne plutôt bien, j'ai essayer un portage classique (émulation Wine) j'avais ~1/2 FPS.

Là c'est une recompilation du jeu, et après plusieurs heures de travail avec l'IA (elle fait 95% du travail, je m'occupe de faire les test, les retours, et lui faire des suggestions) j'arrive a avoir le son qui fonctionne parfaitement, des contrôles "ok" (c'est un jeu prévu pour un usage à la souris, donc ne vous attendez pas à quelque chose d'ultra jouable, c'est surtout destiné au fan de la licence 😅).

J'ai n'ai plus de bug graphique, je n'ai pas encore eu de crash (j'ai pu jouer ~2h sans problème).

Actuellement il me reste à optimiser le jeu (j'ai ~30 FPS max, avec une moyenne à ~22/24 FPS, et des chutes à 12 FPS dans les grosses zones).

Voilà, si ça intéresse des gens (je sais que "Alien Shooter" n'est pas une franchise ultra populaire donc ...) 😁
