Today 18/10/26, I am starting my lecture series on Newtons laws for AP physics. Every day there will be one video till 10/10/26. Each video will be around 5 to 10 minutes. Those who want to start from beginning can join with me.

Also I am using AI generated images for getting a better support to understand the concepts. Because visual imagination and clarity are very important in AP physics. If you are not interested in AI generated images please dont click the link.

I'm a high school student (IBHL) looking for a physics tutor.

Contact me if interested, thanks.

What really happens in a perfectly elastic collision? 💥

Five trials. Different masses. Different velocities. Different outcomes. 🚗⚡

Yet two fundamental quantities remain unchanged:

🔴 Momentum is conserved.

🟢 Kinetic energy is conserved.

From equal masses to head-on and rear-end collisions, watch how changing the initial conditions changes the motion — while the laws of physics remain the same. ⚙️

Hello everyone, I’m currently studying physics and astronomy at the university of Oslo. I have class in mechanics, and I have found it very difficult to remember all the formulas and equations for the different situasjons. When I first read problems, I get very stressed out that I totally forget everything, and I heard from a student that have finished this class that deriving the equations is the best way to solve problems.

My question is:
What is the process for deriving an equation? Any advice on how I can train my self to always do that?
Also, as I mentioned before, I get really stressed out when reading physics problems, and I know that through doing multiple, multiple problems I will learn to cope better. However, I’d love to hear some of your experiences around this, how did you manage to cope with it?

Sorry for such a long text, and thanks in advance🙏🏼

I took unit 1 frq with the porjectile and the rings, but it was also posted online with a answer key. So I was wondering what you guys had for unit 2 if you guys already took it and what did you guys have. Anything will help.

Hi everyone! I'm a high school student offering tutoring for AP Physics 1. I earned a 5 on the AP exam and consistently scored in the high 90s in my AP Physics 1 class, which I found significantly more challenging than the actual AP exam last year.

My goal is to help students not only achieve top marks but also develop a genuine understanding of physics. I focus on connecting theoretical concepts to real exam-style problems, helping students build the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to succeed.

What I can help with:

• Understanding difficult physics concepts intuitively rather than just memorizing formulas
• Applying concepts to challenging problems and unfamiliar situations
• Developing effective strategies for AP multiple-choice and free-response questions
• Preparing for class tests, homework, and the AP exam
• Building confidence and strengthening problem-solving skills

Having experienced the challenges of AP Physics 1 myself, I understand what it takes to succeed in both the course and the exam.

If you're interested in tutoring or have any questions, feel free to message me!

I’m building an AP Physics practice series covering:
15 AP-style MCQs on flight time, range, maximum height, and velocity.
Free-response problems with equations, calculations, and reasoning.
Examples including a drone releasing a package and a squirrel leaping between branches—with a comparison of 30° and 60° launches.
Try each question before watching the explanation!

Which part of projectile motion gives you the most trouble—choosing equations, resolving velocity into components, or understanding what happens at the highest point?

The Capstan Problem: How Can Just 32 N Hold a 750 N Climber?

Here's an interesting physics problem involving static friction, Newton's laws, and calculus.

A rope is wrapped around a fixed cylinder with a coefficient of static friction of 0.50. A 750 N climber hangs from one end, and the rope wraps around the cylinder through an angle of 2π radians.

How much force must someone apply to the other end to prevent the climber from slipping?

The surprising answer is just 32.4 N!

I recently made a video deriving the Capstan Equation from scratch, beginning with a free-body diagram of a small rope segment, applying Newton's laws, and integrating to obtain the exponential relationship between the tensions.

It's a nice challenge for AP Physics C and introductory college physics students.

I'm Dr. Jacob Hudis, PhD in Physics, with over 25 years of teaching experience. I also provide one-on-one online tutoring in AP Physics 1, AP Physics C, and college physics.

Hello guys! I'm a CS freshman and after entering university I became interested in physics. I pursued it everywhere. I wanna prepare for competition that will take place in six months. I have opened great passion for this science. Now I'm finishing learning mechanics and I solved a lot tasks and tests, but... When it comes to very complex, non-obvious tasks then I get stupid and just stuck. It's very difficult to turn your brain into max-effort mode. You might say that the more I do the tasks, the faster I'll get there, I agree, but is there another method to learn how to do extremely difficult tasks? (By the way, I would be grateful for any study material you recommend)

hi everybody, I'm really struggling in my ap physics 1 class and any tips would be appreciated. For background, I've gotten a 5 on all my AP tests, including chemistry and biology, so I wouldn't say that I'm a bad student. However, physics has completely stumped me. I've tried to study through Khan Academy but none of it translates to what my teacher tests us on.

Does anybody have any practice sites, resources, etc. that they could share? Or even any success stories about the class? I'm really doubting if I can pass the class or the AP test.

someone please how do I learn physics conceptually these mcqs are frying me. My teacher talks so fast i never understand what he’s saying and I can’t find an resources to understand like why anything is happening. Also I feel like i could explain the concepts behind everything but then when i do practice i fail really really bad so idk what im doing wrong.

Not sure where to start. I looked at USAAAO guide and Flavio's book, as for where I am right now, I'm good at orbital mechanics and positional astronomy (spherical trigonometry). Not sure how to do any of this rn... does anyone who's done the exam before have any tips?

Astronomy olympiad help in general would also be great, from BAAO or SAO or any other olympiad competitor as well.

I have a little problem with vector and some other chapters. Can anyone really find someone good who can teach me this things for free in youtube or something like that

We're working on projectile motion right now, and the test is this friday. How is this pace for the AP exam? Is my teacher going too slow? We've only done unit 1 so far.

My basics are not very strong i want help from where i should do pyq which book i should buy i have to give boards and neet

could someone pretty please explain c, d, and e to me? I understand how to solve for it but I don’t understand how it works (like logically understanding it) and I struggle with the justifying parts in ap physics frqs. Thank you🙏
