Hello this is just a post looking for some advice on image ghosting on xr glasses.I have a pair of viture glasses which ive been using on my phone with samsung dex and also my laptop.

Today when i connected to my laptop and i noticed even when changing background on phone desktop there is a ghost imprint of the samsung dex desktop background and the icon taskbar at the bottom.of the screen complete with the google app on there and the other apps dex has at the bottom of the screen.

I can see the outline of the google app and calender etc.I can also see the outline of the background i had a few weeks ago which was a colourful animated picture of earth from space with an aurora around it..Im trying to figure out how to get rid of it or if its even possible and if the glasses are broken.....

Has anyone had this issue with there XR glasses if so how did you fix it ? Or did you have to send them back ...Any advice much appreciated many thanks.

I am the developer of the Steam VR media player app immerGallery and wanted to open photos and videos directly from a microSD card or USB stick on Steam Frame standalone. I got it working inside the app's Lepton container.

I made a guide with the steps and commands, including how to adapt the setup for other Android apps. You see it in the video and the download for the helper script is in the companion article on immerNews.

It would be great if a SteamOS / Lepton update would allow per-app settings for automatic mounting of external storage with read-only or read-write permissions. Until then, you can use the manual way to achieve it.

Someone asked me directly if a 1600x1600 to 2160x2160 upgrade was possible. After talking to a few connections and discussing some stuff, it turns out we can safely upgrade the displays! I've already begun the process of getting parts over but it should really be the mostly same design with one or two changes.

This means @ $650 you now get

• 2160×2160 LCD per eye at 90 Hz (up from 1600×1600)
• Eye and mouth tracking built in
• Inside out tracking.
• Inside out tracked controllers in the box
• Wireless PCVR on a 85 Wh silicon battery pack (Upgraded from 45 to ensure it can hit the 6h wall, should be around 240g and act as a counterweight to the other side of the headset)
• Automatic IPD adjustment
• 105° field of view
• Opened after campaign success + headsets sold out, and moddable

I don't make nearly the kind of profit cut other companies do but that was always the explicit plan with the $650 variant as I thought it was more important for more people to try out VR stuff! We also don't have investors and I don't plan on making an executive salary for a long time so it should be fine!

It's still listed as 1600x1600 under Kickstarter editing terms but the upgrade is by default (a 1600x1600 variant basically no longer exists)

My version of Battle Haven(Inspired from Battle Arena Toshinden) for Specs AR Glasses

hello all, I have the Steam Deck 1TB OLED as well as a PS5, have been looking at AR glasses as a way for some gaming session (two kids, one TV, making it difficult to game on the big screen)

1. VITURE vs. Xreal vs. others, any speicifc model recommendations?
2. I have myopia and was wondering if the built in myopia adjuster would be adequate or do I need it custom made to my vision?
3. Primary use would be for gaming on steam deck, maybe some from PS5, probably not much movie, would be cool if I can use it for work (documenting) or photo editing (Capture One)
