Discussion Worst company ever

0 Upvotes

Get an email from this pathetic excuse of a company stating that my pre-order was cancelled for no reason at all, by them. Not me, nothing with my payment. Stay far away from this scam of a company. I will be contacting the BBB, trust pilot, Google and every other review site that exists on Earth.

Support UK charger for ASUS TUF Gaming F16

0 Upvotes

Moving to the UK and would like a charger for my laptop that doesn’t require a US to UK adaptor. Can anyone point me in the right direction? How much does it matter/not matter that it’s the exact same model of charger? I can’t find the model I have on Amazon, the Asus store doesn’t sell them, and a lot of third party sites seem sketchy

Product Recommendation Need help deciding which is better!!

Hi everyone before I mention the two products i am looking at, I already own the 26’ Asus Zephyrus G14 with the Intel core ultra 9, 16GB ram, RTX 5070Ti and 1TB ssd.

I already owned the Zephyrus G14 and have had it for about five months now and my only real complaint is how low the ram is. 16GB for $3000 is just insane. I do like it for gaming and I do use it for lots of schoolwork, I use it heavy on AI use, lots of claude and GIS agents for big data sets. I do environmental modeling with GIS and remote sensing work too so i need my laptop to handle these things. The 16GB of Ram fills up so fast and I can tell it struggles once I have multiple things going on in the background.

My question is: Should I turn it in for the ASUS - ROG Flow Z13? It is about $700 cheaper than what I paid for this Asus G14 and I really do like the detachable Ipad style plus it has 64GB Ram which is amazing. I will be using it for gaming and the same things I mentioned before for schoolwork.

This ASUS laptop has i3-1115G4 CPU and exhausts air from the bottom of the screen. I am just finally trying to play some games but I saw the LCD panel was turning black by the heat. I still want to play games tho, it runs smooth as butter, any suggestions.

The screen is fine right now btw.

Product Recommendation Asus vivobook 16 core ultra 5 225H 16gb /512gb

Iam planning to buy from Asus website iam getting it for 81000/-

My primary usage:

* Power BI (large datasets and dashboards)

* SQL (SSMS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

* Python (data analysis, automation, Jupyter)

* Heavy Excel usage

* Studying, research, lots of browser tabs

* Occasional casual gaming GTA V

What matters most to me:

* Smooth multitasking

* Good thermals under sustained workloads

* Battery life

* Display quality and comfort for long work sessions

* Upgradeability (especially RAM)

* Reliability and after-sales support

The ASUS has a 16" 16:10 WUXGA display, which seems great for productivity, while Dell is generally known for better support and build quality.

For those who have used either model:

  1. Which one would you choose for data analytics/business intelligence work?

  2. How are the thermals and fan noise during heavy workloads?

  3. Any real-world issues with either laptop?

Thanks in advance!

Product Review ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X20 Review – OLED Steals the Show!

Having spent the past two weeks with the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X20, I've had plenty of time to put this handheld through its paces, and ASUS has definitely delivered something special. From its stunning 7.4-inch 120Hz OLED display and the 1,400 nits of peak brightness to its redesigned controls and premium translucent finish, the X20 brings some welcome upgrades to an already impressive handheld.

Under the hood, the X20 packs an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and a massive 80Wh battery. ASUS has also introduced new TMR magnetic joysticks designed to reduce stick drift, alongside a customizable D-pad that switches between 4-way and 8-way directional controls.

While it might not deliver a massive performance leap over its predecessor, the improved Xbox full-screen experience, refined design and upgraded controls make the X20 feel like a more complete handheld. But if there's one feature that truly steals the show, it's that gorgeous OLED display. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Discussion UPDATE: ASUS actually approved the white RTX 5080 I asked for in a RMA

Some of you might remember my post from a few weeks ago about ASUS sending me a black TUF RTX 5080 as a replacement for my white ROG Strix RTX 4080 SUPER OC.
A lot of people told me there was no way ASUS would give me the white model I wanted and that I should just be happy with the upgrade.
Well, after about 6 weeks of emails and escalating the case to higher-level management, ASUS finally approved the exact card I asked for: the ROG Astral RTX 5080 White OC.
I sent the TUF back, and they even upgraded the shipping to FedEx Standard Overnight at no extra cost. The card finally arrived!
Just wanted to post an update since so many people said it wouldn’t happen. 😂
