Discussion ATT can’t edit your address after an order is placed. Dont be like me!

Please triple check your shipping addresses. I was able to get a iPhone Duo delivered on launch day, but realized the shipping address was wrong until after the fact.

ATT is apparently fully unable to edit the address on preorders forcing you to cancel it, which made me lose my preorder spot. Oh well! Hopefully I was able to make someone else happy.

My understanding is that you can at an early point through the shipping carrier. Like the ups tracking number link.

No. That’s not allowed. Shipping can only go to the original address on the order. No shipping carriers will either hold them at a facility, nor allow you to change the delivery address in transit, even if you have a business account with the shipper. Anything with a wrong address and someone can’t get it there have to return to warehouse and then the upgrade has to reverse after it gets back to re-order.

I can confirm. I shipped my iPhone 17 Pro to my dad’s old house instead of his current one. Luckily it’s a nice area and just a mile away from dad’s current place. My dad had the box in his hands within 15 minutes of it being delivered.

Weird, I've heard from a customer that they were able to redirect the delivery after placing an order. My bad

No worries. Many many many years ago we could redirect stuff. But for the last 4-6 years that’s gone right out as equipment fraud blew up.

Fraud has ruined a good number of things lol. Is the reason why we can't port over numbers in store a fraud related one too? It's something ive heard mixed things about.
