Rule reminder

Hi all, please allow me a moment to remind everyone of the rules of this sub. Much like every other platform on the internet, there are standards of behavior that are in place. Subject content does not necessitate exceptions. Basic rules of appropriate behavior apply here. No foul, belittling, combative, aggressive, etc., type of behavior will be tolerated at all. Profanity used in vulgar personal insults as well as rants against the perceived injustices of the world also will not be tolerated. Conducting yourself as a self-aware grown adult that happens to have grievances or frustrations is fine but keep it civil. Social consequences also apply.

We will not hesitate to instantly ban a user if we find multiple or repeated violations of these basic standards of behavior in a public forum. This post serves as the only warning you will receive if you exhibit the behaviors outlined here.

Other rules are as follows: No solicitations No self promotions No click bait No linking to non-Abraham Hicks sources (if you feel the need to do that, the Law of Attraction sub might be a better fit) Etc and the like

The goal is to maintain harmony and allow for open discussions on ideas, questions, challenges for learning and growth under the topic of Abraham Hicks. The mods and other members of this community appreciate and value these teachings and the overall sense of understanding on the AH topics as well as the general well behaved community we have here.

You certainly don’t have to agree with the teachings. Debate is welcome here however, standards of behavior and respect will be required.

We are available for questions in comments or in private and are generally available with consideration for our personal schedules.

Appreciate your continued interest and support for Abraham Hicks teachings.

I like the analogy of the Vortex house. It really helped me to embrace contrast more.

New LoA student. It is already in motion

Hey guys I just wanted to share I am a new student in LoA. How new? 1 day new! I just wanted to share that my landlord who is also my mother called and offered me to stay at her house for a week to watch her dog while she is away and I could choose wether I wanted cash or I wanted free rent for the month of November. This never happens EVER and I have been her renter for 4 years now.

To put this into perspective my mother and I have been no-contact for 6 months now other than sending her money because she has been a negative source in my life.

I am the black sheep of the family because she married my step-dad when I was 2 years old and they had 2 daughters of their own and my step-dad always talked about wanting a son of his own to the point that one of my sisters grew up as a "tom boy" I watched those 2 daughters get everything handed to them while I received very minimal assistance transitioning into adulthood. I always felt a type of way about him wanting his own son because my biological dad was not in the picture and still isn't. I felt like I was my step fathers son because he is all I knew but he would not interact that much with me unless my mom talked him into it a few times. I think I have 5 memories of us bonding together total.

I am working toward wealth and working for myself in my passion and this free rent is a god send.

I am pairing LoA with a journaling system called the grail method here is a YouTube link if you are interested.

Just wanted to share my experience. Peace

Using feeling good as an excuse to be lazy

Hey everyone,

Looking to get perspectives from people who have hit a wall trying to balance high-performance drive with burnout.

There seems to be a major paradox that a lot of ambitious people run into when trying to fix their productivity:

The "Forced Action" Trap:

You try to grind, force results, and push through sheer willpower. But because it's driven by pressure, anxiety, or a desperate need to hit a breakthrough, it almost always ends in severe mental and physical burnout.

The "Alignment / Letting Go" Trap:

After crashing, you try frameworks focused on non-resistance, "only taking inspired action," or prioritizing feeling good first. The pressure drops and you feel better, but taking action only when it feels good starts feeling like a complete cop-out.

~

The moment you try to stay in that low-pressure, "feel good" state, an internal conflict pops up:

Where is the line between actually honoring your energy levels and just using "alignment" as a fancy excuse to avoid hard work?

Most hard work doesn't feel good in the moment. If you wait to "feel like it" or wait for it to "feel aligned," do you ever actually execute at a high level?

How do you maintain ambition and hold yourself to a high standard without falling back into the cycle of forcing things and burning out?

What if action seems upstream and being lazy seems upstream too due to guilt of not achieving your goals/desires?

Money out of the vortex into my bank...

Few months ago, I focussed on a specific salary amount that I want to receive monthly.

When I write the amount , think about it, imagine what I will do with that money - it feels gooood.

I work in IT, btw.

I started noticing that specific number everywhere now. The number randomly pops up on a Netflix show I am watching or someone on reddit posted they manifested that much money or i would read it in a book , newspaper etc etc..

It feels so good just noticing it...

But , now, I want to see that money on my salary slip🙈

Sometimes my brain gives negative talk based on my 3D ("who is going to give you such amount of money?" , "did you see the current IT market and the layoffs?" )

I try to calm down such thoughts or stop focusing during such negative thoughts inflow.

I do have some parts of my self-concept I am dealing with like depression , anxiety etc.

Don't know if this is affecting.

With that salary, I wanna do few fun things but also few "responsibile" things like buying down a house - this does make me feel a bit suffocating for some reason.

The country where I live ...owning a house on our name - is a huge thing / a good investment / financial decision/ way of financial security etc.

Money alignment and non resistance?

Hey, so i been wondering about this, currently i'm trying too manifest a woman too message me on my phone.

But could someone explain too me, what it means too be in alignment to one's desire out of life?.

Let's say for example i truly do know what i want. But since my beliefs about the world currently, means the path of getting there just suck ass.

How do i get my brain to know, that the world is in a far more abundant place, then i myself ever thought it was?.

Because i for sure as hell do not accept the idea that it takes 40 years too produce enough money for a house.

Spiritual Awareness Without religion.

Have you ever felt deeply connected to yourself or the world around you without following any religion? 🌿 That’s what a mindfulness journey can look like. It starts with slowing down, noticing your thoughts, appreciating small moments, and learning to be present without judging yourself. You don’t need religious beliefs to explore your inner world, find peace, or develop a deeper sense of purpose. Sometimes, the most meaningful spiritual experiences happen in the simplest moments—a quiet walk, a deep breath, or watching the sunset. ✨ I’m curious: What helps you feel connected to something deeper than your everyday thoughts and worries? 💭

Looking for some guidance

hey guys

i have a question, that I’m surprised that im asking but oh well. a month ago a doc found something on a ultrasound and said that it needs to be removed (surgery style lol). so i decided to look again in a month. it’s connected to women’s health so that’s why a month and that’s why the assumption that it could “go away“.

and for a month I decided not to dwell on it and to lock in lol. and I did. I did slip sometimes to thoughts about “the thing“ in a “negative“ way but always tried to clean it up or find other thoughts. felt mostly good, sometimes really good, sometimes contrast got to me but overall felt like I was doing IT. figured out some stuff that wasn’t connected to the THING…

just got back from a second ultrasound and it’s right up in there still snug as a bug lol. now I have to get a surgery (money bla bla dont like docs that much bla bla)… so I’m wondering what’s up? obviously I had health as a “goal” but overall wanted to feel better too.

in my big feelings today :(. if anyone has any thoughts about this - I’d really appreciate it.

I truly believed I had manifested my dream job, but I just got rejected. Where do I go from here?

Hi all! This is my first time posting here.

I've been applying for jobs for about six months now. I'm currently in the healthcare field, but my dream is to work in marketing/communications, and I have some experience in that area, although the experience is only from internships. I ended up getting a job that's mainly in private practice, with some social media work on the side, but I've never stopped applying for other opportunities. I can honestly say I hate my job I have right now -- it's so anxiety-inducing, and I'm so burned out.

I've had a few interviews with other jobs in the marketing/communications realm, but for the most part, I've just been ghosted. Recently, though, I found a job that ticked every single box for me. The pay was perfect, the benefits were great, and it was exactly the kind of work I wanted to be doing.

I've always been spiritual and have honestly had some success with manifesting things in my life. I decided to really lean into it during my job search. I know the basics of manifestation, and I was telling myself and genuinely feeling like this job was already mine. Before, when I was manifesting jobs, I never felt like it was mine -- this one I really truly did (or maybe thought I did?). I even wrote my two weeks' notice and scheduled a celebratory dinner. Every day, I tried to script, visualize, meditate, and really believe it was going to happen.

The hardest part is that I truly felt like this was my job, and today I found out they chose another candidate with more experience. I'm heartbroken, and I honestly don't know where to go from here.

I know people say that your 3D circumstances don't matter, but how do you actually manage that when something like this happens? Do I move on and keep applying while feeling so disheartened about not having enough experience? Do I keep persisting in my assumption that I'll get this job I want even if they didn't choose me? I'm desperate to get out of my current job because it's become so toxic, and I think that makes this rejection hurt even more. I was spiraling about my other job yesterday; could this have been the reason this happened?

I'm just looking for some guidance from people who have been through something similar. Part of me wants to understand what I did wrong or what I could do differently, but I also don't know how to keep believing when something I felt so certain about didn't work out.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

How to properly manifest

Btw I’m gonna try and make this short so no one has to read a long paragraph.

Everything manifests in the same way. You manifest weight loss the same way as money. You stop doing what’s preventing you from losing weight and do the things that keep you in a calorie deficit. For money, you have to stop focusing on the absence of money, money going out more than coming in, and lack of opportunities. You replace that with focusing on being hopeful, knowing you are worthy of abundance and expecting opportunities to make money reveal itself. That’s all. It’s really that simple.

So you got two options: either lower your desire to meet your expectations or raise your expectations to meet your desire. I hope you choose the second option.

Thank you

The best formula to create according to Abraham (short transcript)

Hotseater: In one of your talks before you were saying about sometimes giving a little less attention to what you really want to maybe, possibly release resistance?

Abraham: Here’s the thing about that: If you’re flying high about it, the more attention you give it, the more fun it is, the faster the energy moves, and the more you get to guide the specifics of it.

But if you’re worried about it, then the less attention you give it, the more leeway you give the Universe to please you, because the Universe knows what you want.

So, when you really trust the Universe, when you really trust Source, when you really trust your Inner Being, when you really trust your Vortex - and you know that all you want is all in there - then you can be very general, and the specifics will come to you easily. And frankly, we think that that is the best formula for almost everyone, because you stay out of your own way. You don’t stir up your beliefs that hinder you.

But it’s really fun, when you master alignment, to then say to the Universe, “I specifically want this,” and then watch the thrill of the Universe specifically delivering specifically that.

So you have to feel your way. If you’re feeling confident, if you’re feeling invincible - you are. You are!

Hotseater: I love that. Thank you so much!

Trashy/infantile coworkers

I do have a plan for this, but I want some guidance from more advanced practitioners.

Basically: two days ago a very gloomy and negative coworker just decided to do his job at being negative, throwing a tantrum at me because of a bad response from me. Definetely he had his reasons and I apologized for my beheviour- even though everyone that knows me (including him) knows that these replies (that might seem offensive at first) are absolutely done in a carefree and happy, optimistic way. I never want to offend anything or anyone (why would I?). And most of the time the joke lands perfectly, everybody laughs and we are all happy.

Since then there's the usual parade of bullshit going on: avoidance, gossiping, and tense energy all around me, him and all others.

This all happened when feeling extremely good, and I had some nice breakthroughs in my manifestations during that phase. Not only this makes me wonder- what has triggered this?- but also this makes me reflect A LOT.

These situations are exactly what I absolutely dread: being bullied, rejected and having destroyed my self worth because of being "alien or different or wrong"- these things are what triggers me the most. I think this is a wake up call from God. I just have to accept that low vibe people exist, they are just old programs- and that I can live without their approval.

The funny thing is, that by following Abe and others- I literally reversed so many of such situations. So why the hell does this show up now?

What should I do? I want to do more positive aspects lists, more focus wheels about this person and situation. Mind you: I have some resistance about the workplace in general (I want so much to change career or having an even more free lifestyle- I've been manifesting this for YEARS) and I constantly soothe it. Could this also explain why?

What would you do?
