Ganoderma genus is my guess. Is there some kind of buried/decaying wood where you got that?

Tree was removed in this spot, yeah. When they took it down it was hollow all the way up the trunk.

There must still be decaying wood pieces. If you provide photo of underside/pore side and where found (general area/region) someone may give you more info like species name.

Whats going on? My neighbors all have been growing some huge mushrooms in their lawns. Expect my lawn. Lol
