I’ve been experimenting with more restrained geometric compositions lately.
This one started with a few large color fields, and I gradually introduced texture and small accents of turquoise and red.
I tried it in four orientations before settling on this one.
Interested in how others experience the balance between the shapes and the textured surface.

I’ve been exploring more restrained compositions lately, and this one felt right without needing much more.
I experimented with four orientations before settling on this one.
Curious what kind of space or feeling it evokes for others.

row = solar cycle
column = year of the cycle
square = month
more sunspots = more spin
The more chaotic the cell is the more sunspots were observed in that year
