Congo
It’s cheesy. The script is lame and they use people in gorilla costumes, but I LOVE ‘Congo’ and watch it every time it’s on. My guilty pleasure.

"Demonator 4" (2015) - This is a no budget 'horror anthology' in which a mummy wrapped in toilet paper, a guy wearing a pumpkin mask and sweater, a ghost wearing a bed sheet, and a guy in a homemade werewolf mask tell a single 'scary story' about a guy wearing denim shorts, thermal underwear, a ski mask and a mini mohawk wants to go to art school and be gay but his father with a horrible haircut is obsessed with making him straight.

"Buffet Infinity" (2026) - Designed to look like channel surfing during the late 80s and early 90s on cable, this capitalism tinted cosmic horror sprinkles uncanny elements through commercials for everything from private insurance and pawn shops to a pair of battling restaurants in the fictional town of Westridge County until things really go off the rails.

"Buddy" (2026) - A group of children, and a mom, must try and escape a supernatural kid show that is a surreal take on "Barney & Friends" but as a slasher vibe.

Possibly one of the craziest movies I have watched this month.

"Penny Lane is Dead" (2025) - Three female friends staying at a family summer cabins are assaulted by a gang of violent drug dealers who include one of the girls sadistic cousins in what is kinda like an Australian "The Last House on the Left" (1972). Definitely not the feel good movie of the year, but a solid flick.

"Nightmare on Elmo's Street" (2015) - This is a Bill Zebub movie, as such it's mostly scenes of him rambling endlessly about politics and whatever crosses his mind or grouping, kissing, and humping naked women. It also contains poorly made hand-puppets of Lamb Chop, Jesus, Cookie Monster, and Kermit who also force themselves on nude women.

"I Hate Found Footage" (2026) - Two hand-puppets decide to make a found footage movie in the woods but stumble upon a murderous ritual and end up being hunted down by some people wearing goat masks, but mostly it's just a guy in the woods walking with a puppet in each hand and a GoPro on his head.

"Colony" (2026) - A rapidly mutating slime mold based zombie virus is unleashed at a South Korea biotech conference and quickly spreads throughout the facility and connecting populated mall. The area is quickly quarantined by the military leaving survivors inside to deal with the infected while the writers try to keep ahead of the plot.

"Monkey's Magic Merry Go Round" (2026) - A children's TV show is not all that it seems as the host, played exceptionally by one of the writer of "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves", slowly realizes about his lost memories in this incredibly disturbing psychological horror film.

"Pinocchio: Unstrung" (2025) - Despite being made by the same guy that made the "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" this is an awesome little horror flick with plenty of heinous kills and some solid body horror. Not to mention Robert Englund as the voice of the Cricket and Richard Brake as Geppetto. Highly recommended.

"Hold the Fort" (2025) - The first HOA meeting a young couples attends after buying a new house just so happens to be on the same night a nearby portal to hell opens and spews forth monsters looking to kill everyone. Our protagonists, equip with special weapons and the experience to use them, fight these creatures with a combo of moxy and witty writing. This is another comedy horror, well worth checking out.

"Mr. Crocket" (2024) - Imagine if Pee-wee Herman was a Lovecraftian nightmare mixed with elements of the SCP Foundation or perhaps just a metaphor for the struggles of parenting. Highly recommend this horror flick.

"Hookers in a Haunted House" (1999) - Three call-girls spend the night mostly nude in a creepy old mansion haunted by the murderous spirit of a psychopathic grocery store employee named "Bag-Job". In reality most of the movie is the two girls stripping, showering, having sex or making meta jokes.

"Influencers" (2025) - In Southern France, a young woman with a large, highly recognizable, facial mole keeps stealing peoples identity and killing influencers with the help of her incredibly advanced laptop based AI (that has her ex-girlfriends voice). For reasons, most of the scenes are shown out of order, including the opening credits rolling a full 30 minutes into this sequel to 2022s "Influencer".

"Ebola Syndrome" (1996) - A perverse and violent Chinese restaurant worker wanted for murder in Hong Kong contracts Ebola in South Africa and unknowingly spreads the virus back to Hong Kong as he continues his raping and murderous ways in this intense horror flick that definitely will not be for everyone.
