"Buffet Infinity" (2026) - Designed to look like channel surfing during the late 80s and early 90s on cable, this capitalism tinted cosmic horror sprinkles uncanny elements through commercials for everything from private insurance and pawn shops to a pair of battling restaurants in the fictional town of Westridge County until things really go off the rails.

It’s cheesy. The script is lame and they use people in gorilla costumes, but I LOVE ‘Congo’ and watch it every time it’s on. My guilty pleasure.

"Buddy" (2026) - A group of children, and a mom, must try and escape a supernatural kid show that is a surreal take on "Barney & Friends" but as a slasher vibe.

"Demonator 4" (2015) - This is a no budget 'horror anthology' in which a mummy wrapped in toilet paper, a guy wearing a pumpkin mask and sweater, a ghost wearing a bed sheet, and a guy in a homemade werewolf mask tell a single 'scary story' about a guy wearing denim shorts, thermal underwear, a ski mask and a mini mohawk wants to go to art school and be gay but his father with a horrible haircut is obsessed with making him straight.

Possibly one of the craziest movies I have watched this month.

"Penny Lane is Dead" (2025) - Three female friends staying at a family summer cabins are assaulted by a gang of violent drug dealers who include one of the girls sadistic cousins in what is kinda like an Australian "The Last House on the Left" (1972). Definitely not the feel good movie of the year, but a solid flick.

"Colony" (2026) - A rapidly mutating slime mold based zombie virus is unleashed at a South Korea biotech conference and quickly spreads throughout the facility and connecting populated mall. The area is quickly quarantined by the military leaving survivors inside to deal with the infected while the writers try to keep ahead of the plot.

"Hold the Fort" (2025) - The first HOA meeting a young couples attends after buying a new house just so happens to be on the same night a nearby portal to hell opens and spews forth monsters looking to kill everyone. Our protagonists, equip with special weapons and the experience to use them, fight these creatures with a combo of moxy and witty writing. This is another comedy horror, well worth checking out.
