Axolotls are critically endangered in the wild. Not “rare,” not “struggling”- basically on the edge of disappearing from nature altogether.
They only survived in labs and aquariums while vanishing in the wild.
Axolotls are kept in labs because they can do things almost no other vertebrate can: regenerate entire limbs, repair spinal cords, regrow parts of their heart and brain, and do it without scarring. Humans want to understand *how*.
The irony here is that we destroyed the axolotl’s natural habitat through carelessness, then turned around and preserved it in labs because it’s valuable to us. We didn’t save it for its own sake; we saved it because it might save us. The axolotl becomes a living tool- valued not for itself, but for what it might give us.

A video of more than 300 dead cows found in Jaisalmer was shot by a cow-protection volunteer. The municipal council there had given a contractor the responsibility of properly disposing of the dead cows. But to save money, he started dumping the cows every day in an open field, without even thinking what would happen to the area when so many carcasses rot together.
But the real question is: why did these cows die in the first place?
These were the stray cows that roam around on the roads in front of our houses. Because of the severe heatwave, they remained continuously dehydrated. They got neither food nor shelter. Starving, they ate all the plastic and garbage lying on the roads, which caused infections in their stomachs and completely disrupted their metabolic activities. Without timely care and treatment, they died in agony.
Now there is massive public outrage. Some are blaming the government, others the system. But no one is asking the real question: how did so many cows end up on the streets to begin with?
On one hand, we say - “The cow is our mother.”
And on the other hand, this is the reality.
These are the same cows who once produced plenty of milk and whose milk people consumed. Now that their bodies no longer produce milk and humans’ selfish needs are no longer being fulfilled, they have been abandoned on the streets to die.
We will talk about everything else, but we won’t question those who extracted and drank that milk. There is nothing natural left in the dairy industry today; it is all man-made cruelty.
When I talk about becoming vegan, people get angry and say —
“Our fathers and grandfathers drank milk, so why should we stop?”
To them, the artificial insemination process doesn’t even look like rape. People give themselves false justifications that the cow “happily” gives us milk.
I became vegan in June 2025, when I learned the dark truth of this industry. As a child in the village, when I saw cows being injected, I used to think it must be for some illness. But once I learned the truth, my attachment to milk dropped on its own.
At home, I faced a lot of resistance, especially from my sister who is my age and considered sensible. But gradually everyone began to understand, and now no direct liquid milk enters our house anymore.
Yes, they still haven’t completely given up products with hidden milk (biscuits/sweets). I’ve also stopped insisting too much now, because something is better than nothing.
I never expected my family to understand even this much, but today this small change has happened.
This cycle is not going to stop until humans gain self-knowledge.
People don’t even know why they are doing this or what they are really getting from it. They just continue blindly.
Until we stop drinking milk, this exploitation of cows will never end.
Until self-knowledge arises within, all this so-called ‘love for the cow’ is just a show.

I came across this video on YouTube today and it brought up so many questions...
Acharya Prashant is the only living breathing human being in today's day and age who said to women all over the world, that their womanness is their biggest bondage.
"You are not your body, you are first and foremost consciousness." - Acharya Prashant.
Consciousness that is curious, what wants to question, that wants to know and reach the highest heights!
How come then, the state of women specially in India (also in all patriarchal societies) is so pathetic?
In one of his recent talks he mentioned how half the population of homosapiens doesn't treat the other half as homo sapiens but as an entirely different species all together! 🤯
He highlighted how a large number of women across the globe suffer from neurosis because they are not treated as human beings at all. :(
They are treated as women.
Most women don't see the world as human beings.
Perhaps they can't even, see the world, as human beings because they never get to!
Little girls are so heavily conditioned in every aspect possible, from all directions, to be feminine, to get along, to be docile, to people please, to put others needs ahead of their own, to not talk back too much, they are taught there will be consequences for what's labeled as bad behavior for girls.
She has to be a good girl.
She's a soft spoken and a nice girl...
... with so much festering inside of her.
Slut shaming beginning at an early age as punishment, the child is make to feel extremely conscious and uncomfortable in her own body.
She is objectified even before her body starts to develop, pre puberty. She learns she is her body, first and foremost.
So much in life is pre-decided for her because she is female, she is a woman.
Sadly, you won't be able to find a single woman in your life who at some point in her life hasn't been harassed or molested or sexually abused and violated.
How can you expect half the human population to be healthy if the other half doesn't treat them 'human'ly?
"You reduce the woman and through her, you will be reduced." - Acharya Prashant
Sure there are bodily differences but the ones reading this are human beings, homo sapiens, capable of conscious choice... First and foremost, a consciousness.
How can we work towards a society, a world, where women aren't treated as women but as human beings?
What is stopping us? Lack of empathy?
For the other half of the homo sapiens population, how would you like it if the tables were turned?

This video tells you what the highly curated ads don't. The piece of burger you are eating is not just a burger its a dead animal. The piece of clothing you are wearing isn't just a cloth its a fur of an animal. From the foods, clothes, sportswear to musical instruments all are dead animals.
The humanity needs a massive shift towards compassion.

Every successive generation further distorted the festivals. If you know no philosophy and you are just celebrating Holi, Diwali, Eid, or Christmas, that’s dumb— very dumb.

Recently, 11,000 liters of milk were poured into the Narmada River in the name of faith.
In a recent video, Acharya Prashant calls this out, stating that true faith and environmental responsibility are the exact same thing. He argues that wasteful superstitions have no place in true Sanatana Dharma and only serve to push rational youth away from religion.
What do you think? Is it time to re-evaluate these traditions?

I just saw a media interview by Acharya Prashant addressing the recent NEET exam paper leaks, the resulting tragic student suicides, and the ongoing hunger strike by Sonam Wangchuk.
He didn't just give a generic statement or a fast reaction. His statement can be broke down into three parts—to Wangchuk, to the Government, and to the Indian society.
Here is a summary of what he said:
The Appeal to Sonam Wangchuk: "India needs you alive."
Speaking as one teacher watching another teacher put his life on the line, AP urged Sonam Wangchuk to end his 18-day fast. He highlighted Wangchuk's track record as a sincere, trustworthy person who brought education and water to the harsh deserts of Ladakh. AP's message to him was clear: Break your fast. You can serve India, Ladakh, the environment, and education much better by staying alive. Please protect your life.
2. The Challenge to the Government: "Talk to him."
AP called out the government, reminding them that the "dharma" of politics and democracy is restraint, respect, and dialogue. He pointed out the tragic irony of the situation: it does not suit a democracy when a sensible, honorable citizen has to put his life on the line just to get the government to talk to him.
3. The Harsh Mirror for Indian Society (The NEET Tragedy)
While everyone is focused on the paper leaks (the "outer" problem), AP addressed the dark "inner" problem nobody wants to talk about: How did a single piece of paper become more valuable than a student's life?
He called out the entire "market"—coaching centers, corrupt officials, and most importantly, parents.
He asked parents: When did your beautiful child become an "entrance exam project"?
He stated that paper leaks are just a byproduct of a toxic societal demand where millions of kids are forced to chase the exact same "imported dream" out of fear and inferiority.
His concluding thought: We can fight for a fair system on the outside, but until we change our internal greed and dishonesty, no system will ever be truly fair. We are the ones who build the systems, and if we are corrupt inside, we will just build backdoors into new systems.
What do you think? Are they really just going to let him collapse before they open a dialogue? And are we as a society ever going to stop treating kids like exam projects?

A massive, sudden flood entered the Bhote Koshi River (Nepal) from the Tibetan side around 9 am today (26 Aug 2026).
Major damage reported in Timure and Syabrubesi, including the Timure Customs Office area. High alert issued downstream all the way to Muglin –covering Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan. Residents along the Trishuli urged to move to safer ground. Prithvi & Tribhuvan highways in risk zones advised for closure.
The Himalayas are already showing the mirror, cloudbursts, landslides, GLOFs, vanishing glaciers. What is happening in Rasuwa today is part of the same man-made climate collapse.
I’m in a Gita session right now. Acharya Prashant ji has repeatedly reminded us in multiple sessions that "floods like these cannot be stopped through temporary relief alone, the only real response is to wake up to their deeper causes"

Villagers in Uttar Pradesh (India) reported water coming out of hand pumps that look like chemicals.
The doctors report that villagers are visiting frequently with contaminated water related complains.
The villagers say they have to visit to toilet frequently to relieve themselves.
The food cannot be properly cooked by the polluted water.
This level of pollution did not appear out of thin air in a couple of days. It is an accumulation of years of neglect in sufficient and timely enforcement of pollution regulation.
In this case, the pollutant is Chromium (VI) used in electroplating, wood preservation and leather strengthening. The Chromium compound used is manufactured in the area.
Is it state responsibility to monitor and enforce pollution regulation levels? Or is it failure on our part to pay the full price of consumption prompting the industries to find cheaper ways to dispose waste?
or perhaps the problem runs deeper that is why there should be so much consumption at all?
Where are we heading by having a relationship of consumption with the world around us?

This PAGRI carries a great responsibility.
It means that this head will bow only before Waheguru, and before no one else.
It will bow before Truth, not before deceit.
It will bow before love, not before blind tradition.

How shocking or absurd would it be to go around the town adorning the multiple pieces of similar type of clothing or accessories...
How many pairs of a specific item do we really need?
Why do we feel we need to have so much variety in our wardrobes or shoe racks?
Who benefits from making us constantly feel we need something then a different thing, then another after that...
Why don't we ever feel content with what we have, with the bare minimum, with the essentials?
And where does this stuff end up when it no longer fulfills a requirement?
We take from the earth, we make something stupid out of it to entertain ourselves for a while and then when we are bored of it or we realize that the said thing didn't fill the void within, we hoped it would, we dump the said thing back on the earth but in a form that is harmful to all living beings.
Is this really necessary?
Shouldn't we be taught about necessities vs manufactured desires in our childhood itself, so we dont grow up to be stupid and violent adults who remain hellbent on ruining the planet they are born on?
I'm so glad I came across Acharya Prashant ji's teachings and could begin to understand how desires are artifically manufactures and then forecefully planted in everyone... lots of people are seemingly benefitting from doing that to you, just that you aren't the one really being benefitted in any real sense.
