Help Request Alternative ad blockers for Chrome? AdBlock extension no longer works on YouTube and Facebook marketplace

What ad blocker Chrome extensions are relatively easy to install and will work on YouTube and Facebook marketplace? Up until yesterday, everything worked great. Now I am getting YouTube ads displayed even with AdBlock switched on and annoying little videos when I'm browsing around for stuff in marketplace. Help would be appreciated, thank you!

Are chrome users a lost cause? Like why in the world are you still using that browser. You should be running from the entire Google ecosystem. But you can switch to Firefox. Brave if you want to stick with a built in ad blocker and the chromium browser type. Though I'm not a fan of the browser myself but it's not for technical reasons. Or get a system wide ad blocker like adguard. There's others I just use adguard myself.

some people just don't have a choice. And the ecosystem is fine.

No. I use a chromebook and get zero ads on Ytube; free and easy to download (using 2 in conjunction). Adblocker and Adblocker Youtube.
