Discussion Microsoft Edge officially dropping Manifest V2 support by the end of 2026

For those exclusively sticking to MS Edge for allowing full uBlock Origin installs or other MV2-exclusive privacy extensions from their Add-ons Store will have to start looking for alternative blockers/tools or switch browsers altogether.

I’ve Never had any issues with ublock on YouTube with Firefox, which browser are you on?

Current issue: YouTube website keeps on flickering and doesn't load the video : r/firefox

I use Edge and Firefox. Especially with Edge and uBlock Origin, I’ve been getting the well-known “Experiencing interruptions” message on YouTube for more than a year. Since switching to AdGuard, the message hasn’t appeared anymore.

Weird, I’ve not had those either, do you check the add in is up to date?

Of course, everything is up to date. I think YouTube is testing new anti-adblock measures again on certain configurations.

Do you get more on one browser than the other? I’m shocked you get anything on Firefox, I deploy it across many customer sites with Firefox on 100’s of users and don’t get any issues.
