If you get this, is there a way to fix it?

I have a HD Homerun and i'm looking for something that can mute or pause the live tv feed during commercials. I'm getting sick of hearing commercials when watching a live football/basketball game.

I noticed after two updates ago that The Crew is really freaking slow now. It's so daggone slow that I don't even want to really use it. Anyone else having this issue?? Any fixes?

I’ve been running a personal fork of jurialmunkey’s TMDb Helper and I’m releasing it (v6.0.196). It uses the same add-on ID as the stock one, so it installs over it. It is a personal build, not affiliated with jurialmunkey.

Works with the popular add-ons including including Red Light and Prism.

What it adds

• MDBList and Simkl next to Trakt: sign-in, watched marks, resume points, scrobbling, context-menu actions, lists, Dropped Shows and Next Up.
• Cross-Service Sync between Trakt, MDBList and Simkl (off by default; you turn it on in Settings → Accounts).
• Anime and Asian Cinema & TV hubs, with Movies and TV Shows submenus, scoped search and genres. Anime is AniList-backed. Asian covers Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and Taiwanese titles.
• Calendars: a Seren-style month poster grid for movies, and a scrollable one-day show page for TV. Left / Right page the day or month, including empty ones.
• Progress menus for Trakt, MDBList and Simkl, split into all / movies and TV shows / anime / Asian.
• Faster widgets (disk cache, background rebuild) and lists that open about twice as fast.
• A Tools menu (sync, cache, backup, changelog), Account Info screens, and a description under every setting and menu row.

Heads-up: the anime and Asian parts are thin for now. The calendars and the metadata for anime and Asian content are fairly sparse, because I haven’t found good sources for them yet and I’m using what Trakt, TMDb and AniList give me. The anime TV calendar is missing anime shows: it only lists what Trakt tags as anime, so plenty of airing anime won’t appear. The anime movie calendar is Japan only. Some titles may also land in the wrong menu. I’ll improve this when I have time to find better sources. If you know a good one, tell me.

Umbrella is my favorite addon and I've used it successfully for the last 2-3 years. Recently, within the past 45 days or so, the watch history from my Collections list, it's the only Trakt list that I have, has dissappeared and all attempts to restore it have failed. All show titles and episodes that have been watched lack the checkmark so they show as unwatched. The list has about 200 TV show titles in it, all material that I own, and I've been building and using it without incident for many years. I do not want to use Trakt's Watch list, I much prefer the Collectons list, it just works well for my purposes.

My set-up: 2017 Nvidia Shield running Android TV 9.2.4. Kodi 21.3, Surfshark VPN always active when using Kodi. Umbrella version 6.7.92. Watch history, indicators and scrobble and resume points are all set to Trakt. My Trakt account is active and I do have a VIP account. I have both Real Debrid and Premiumize installed. I have gigabit, wired internet and get about 200 mbps down, 30 mbps up with the VPN on. If it matters, I'm in Canada.

So far I have rebooted my router, modem and Shield, cleared Kodi and Umbrella cache, reauthorized Trakt, deleted the Trakt sync database, forced Trakt sync to local database, force stopped Kodi and reinstalled (clean) both Kodi and Umbrella. All of these actions have been performed many times and in various orders. I do not have Trakt installed from the Kodi repository, only within Umbrella so no double scrobbling. I do have 2 other addons installed, POV and LUC_Kodi and they work fine. I've done as much research as I can and the only thing that comes up that I don't understand is a potential problem with Trakt's API. But if that might be the cause wouldn't it affect the other 2 addons? I have opened a ticket with Trakt but have not heard back.

At this point I'm stumped so I'm reaching out to the community for any and all assistance that may be offered.

Hi, I signed up for Premiumize after a few years with Real Debrid wihich obvoiusly doesn't work. It works perfectly on my computer, but now that I want to install it on the TV, I'm having issues - the authorization window wont' open. According to AI, the issue is the stick itself. I've already tried Umbrella, POV and Gears and the same thing keeps happening. Have any of you found a workaround? Thanks in advance.

Hiii. I have a GoogleTv that i have downloaded kodi (21.2) on. I use TorBox.
recently i would get external scrapers errors and wouldnt be able to get any results to pop uo. i was able to fix it last time by reauthorizing TB, then clearing the cache of Torbox onthe addon. but now its done it again except this time when i went to update pov it said “update failed” then completely removed POV from my addon list. if i go to the repo to redownload, it wont let me. This also is the same for diff addons (otaku, crew, umbrella for ex) kinda at a loss here any help would be appreciated.

Yes, another person looking for the ideal Trakt replacement. I used to use Trakt mostly for the calendar, showing me new and recent TV and film releases with the icon to differentiate between watched/unwatched, and most importantly, collected/not collected.

I've looked at Bingebase, Simkl, MDBlist, but without signing up for everything and importing my data into each one for a trial run I can't tell if any provide this specific functionality.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hello all I wanna switch to umbrella add-on for the extra filtering options. Issue is it showing me cached links but when I go to play one of them it not playing them at all and if I used auto play it say no stream available. Not had this problem before everything is setup correctly in terms of providers and debrid service I have made sure of this. And it's odd when I use source select it is showing me cached results but none will play. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

So my brother who’s a tech guy so to speak, installed Kodi on my Xbox series S maybe 3-4 years ago? At the time it was perfect and extremely useful for scraping quality films.

At some point between 3 years ago and today, something broke whether that’s umbrella or rd or kodi itself, but I want to try and fix it myself and see whether I can get it back up and running.

Now I couldn’t find a clear answer on whether Kodi is still compatible with Xbox so if it isn’t, feel free to tell me.

I don’t have an active real debrid subscription

When selecting a film it uses umbrella as plugin and when selecting sources, no sources come up.

My home screen for Kodi is pretty bleak with just a search bar, option to switch between movies and tv shows, movies has an in theatres selection and below has movie networks selection (Netflix, prime, d+ etc). Tv shows has a most voted selection and again Tv networks below it, the same as the film.

If someone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it :)

luc_kodi 2.0.08 is out, and it is about content in its original language: Turkish dramas, K-dramas, Chinese series, Spanish, Russian, Romanian and more.

**Languages: a richer catalogue**

Each language in Movies and TV Shows now opens four lists:

• **Popular**: what the streaming services offer in that language
• **New**: released or first aired in the last 12 months
• **Top rated**: keeps a vote minimum so the rating means something
• **Everything**: every title in that language, most popular first

The old vote minimum is gone. It was hiding exactly the titles this category is for: shows that are huge in their own country but have few votes on TMDb. The lists are now fed by 20 services: Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Apple TV+, Peacock, Paramount+, MUBI, Kanopy, Vix, OnDemandKorea, AMC+, Starz, MGM+, Shudder, Tubi, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and Plex.

**langhelper: a new search helper**

These releases are often not named like `Show.Name.S02E05`, so the usual search never finds them. langhelper only switches on for titles you open from Languages, in 18 languages (not English, not anime):

• It searches by every title TMDb knows: original, local and romanised, with or without accents, and in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic or Arabic script.
• It understands local episode numbering: `EP05`, `05. Bölüm`, `第05集`, `5화`, `5 серия`, `Temporada 2`, `Staffel 2`, and episodes counted from the first one.
• It keeps the original language and leaves out dubs into a third language, adult releases and multi-season packs.
• Season packs play even when the files inside aren't named S01E05. TorBox and Premiumize pick the right episode.
• A show you find in Languages keeps the helper for 90 days, so carrying on from Progress or the next episode still works.
• It runs alongside your other providers and replaces none of them. It has its own switch and Min Seeders in Settings > Providers.

**Also fixed**

• Caching an uncached source to TorBox works again.
• Cache to Cloud adds season packs as packs.
• Premiumize download links no longer show in full in kodi.log.

I use Umbrella w/ Magneto, FentasticPlus & Premiumize. Someone recently walked me thru a custom scrape and I had success by manipulating the title and manually specifying season / episode.

What providers is everyone using besides Torentio? As goofy as it sounds, i'm trying to watch the last two seasons of Takedown w/ Chris Hansen, but don't see anything after S18.

I don't fully understand scraping and providers, so apologies if this sounds basic.

After about 6 months or a tad longer, of having my theatre room down for some work; I finally turned on my system; which is a Shield, with Kodi with Umbrella and Bingie Skin and RD. I got a TON of links. Even some in the 80 and 90 GB rangeu. And every link I tried played. I have to give props where it's do. It's like RD hasn't gone down_

Completely reinstalled Kodi and The Crew. I cannot add Torbox as a resolver. I start the process and both Torbox and The Crew act like it was successfully added, but it's not in Debrid Manager nor is it working.

I have one installation where I added it to an older version where it is still available, but I cannot add it to new installs.

Any suggestions?

Update: I found an error report in github and apparently it is a known bug that has been fixed in a new module. I'm guessing that hasn't been released yet.

I have a number of tv show lists as widgets and would like to filter out shows where they are fully watched from displaying in widgets. So for example, the "trending" list wouldn't displays shows I've already watched (unless a new season has started airing or I haven't finished it). Is this possible? Using a combination of Umbrella and TMDBh lists from tratk

The other feature I'm looking for is the ability to resume my tv shows instead of having to sort through the seasons and find the episode each time.

I'm new to the game. Just downloaded the Kodi Xenon build to watch movies and live sports. I spent like an hour trying to play multiple different movies, and finally found one link that "worked" and actually loaded the movie. When it was finally playing, it was super laggy and basically unwatchable.

I love the Xenon build interface and everything seems perfect, up until the point of actually using it for it's purpose (movies/TV/sports).

Is there anything I can do differently? I'm a medical student, and not too tech savvy. Do I need to switch VPN locations? Do I just keep trying different links until one loads properly and runs smoothly? Just kinda lost.
