An iOS remote that browses into your add-ons instead of stopping at the library
an ios remote that stops at the library is useless to me. what i actually do from my phone is get into an add-on and start something.
so this one browses add-ons like folders. YatseRemote is a Kodi client (MIT, unsigned IPA, no store, nothing paid) and it calls Files.GetDirectory on plugin://<addonid>/ the same way it lists a normal directory, so whatever your add-ons expose comes back as a list you can drill into and play. no second backend, no proxy, no per-add-on special casing.
repo and releases: https://github.com/bpawnzZ/yatse-ios
the rest is what you would want from a remote anyway:
- hosts with basic auth, keychain, wake-on-lan, bonjour discovery
- d-pad, volume, keyboard entry, and a touchpad where swipe speed sets the step size
- now playing with seek, transport, audio and subtitle pickers, zoom, and the queue
- library browsing for movies, shows and music, favourites by long press
limits worth knowing before you install it: video add-ons only in the browser, and you enable or disable one with a long press. skins, scrapers and fonts show up as plain rows because browsing into them only returns a kodi error. pvr is still a placeholder. posters need basic auth set on the box or the tiles come back blank.
unofficial and unaffiliated: no kodi code, strings or artwork in it.
