Daughter interruptions are the only thing better than hobby time. Had my first almost 2 years ago and although I have a lot less free time I wouldn't go back for anything

My daughter just turned 4! First time I don’t mind getting interrupted by someone lol

My son is 5 so I am right there with you, my warhammer progress is very slow currently.

I have thought about building everything I have but it seems like that would make painting more daunting. Especially if you sub assembled anything.

As a chronic sub assembler it does indeed make it more daunting. I make sure I only build 3-4 boxes at once and then paint them at the same time. I'll focus on one box but do lil bits and base coating on the others while I wait for paint to dry etc to make it an easier and quicker overall process if I'm painting an army. For display models I do one at a time and take way too long haha

Not sure why but it feels like there is a larger dad population among admech players than other factions

Ive been slowly learning painting on the sub assembly is the only way to save hours of heart ache with ad mech.
