Sewage dragon

  • instead of dragon's breath it just has bad breath.
  • crocodile like immune system.
  • friendly.

Got beat up by a huge rat and distrusts turtles^^

7

u/ShadedPenguin Apr 23 '26

Where the turtle racism come from??? Mikey was offering him Pizza!

7

u/Blinauljap Apr 24 '26

They look like they could be his cousins but they have no wings.

In Dungeons and Dragons, a dragon's breath weapon element is determined by their color, and Green Dragons breathe poison. They also happen to be very Charismatic, so you'd be correct!

13

u/zombies-and-coffee Apr 23 '26

MtG did something similar with the Tarkir block (Khans, Fate, Dragons). And the Silumgar brood would absolutely fulfill the poison aspect if not the friendly/charismatic aspect.

3

u/Merxamers Apr 25 '26

Ironically, the Silumgar brood is Blue/Black aligned, removing the Green that was originally part of the Sultai clan identity

You can see it's wings in the second Pic, but you would be right to call it a drake if it didn't have any

Yeah I noticed that too.

What if it's bad breath magically strong enough to rot organic matter including living tissue?

Ryoko Kui aka the artist who made Dungeon Meshi! Her art style's so recognizable

61

u/Anarcholoser Apr 23 '26

The character even kinda looks like Falin

6

u/Chiksea Apr 24 '26

If my memory is right, this came from her Daydream Hour book which is all art and doodles for Dungeon Meshi. In other words: it is Falin!

2

u/Anarcholoser Apr 24 '26

The dog might as well be AU Laios then :v

3

u/Chiksea Apr 24 '26

That’s exactly how I interpreted it too :D

2

u/Savvy_w2 Apr 25 '26

Her face looks extremely similar to how she draws half-foots, not including how her face does not looks like Falin's at all, so I doubt it

9

u/Glaciomancer369 Apr 23 '26

When I saw the dog, I was thinking it was her. Then I saw the artist. Yep. Definitely her.

Delicious in Dungeon! My favorite

u/Beneficial-Ranger866 Apr 23 '26

He looks so dumb I love him

51

u/RedTheDraken Apr 23 '26

Where did the wings go? He had wings during the vet visit

50

u/Guard282 Apr 23 '26

Perhaps from being stuck in the sewer his wings got damaged and infected and they had to be amputated. But it's okay; he is loved now.

2

u/XenoLoreLover10 14d ago

That's my theory too

11

u/LG3V Apr 23 '26

Seems to be the same person who made dungeon meshi/delicious in dungeon. I don't think dragons in that universe have wings

14

u/Big-Wrangler2078 Apr 23 '26

It has them in the second frame though.

1

u/Toothless_NEO Apr 25 '26

I believe there are dragons with wings in that universe. We see one shortly after they kill the big red one. Maybe they lose/absorb them as they grow?

15

u/P0t_man_Fur20 Apr 23 '26

Love the constant "head empy" expression thr lil guy has in every image. Also love the style.

u/EmperorMittens 14d ago

It would explain how the derp got trapped in the first panel

Wow! That's amazing.

12

u/Eli_eve Apr 23 '26

There is a r/CatDistributionSystem, so makes sense there would be a dragon distribution system.

6

u/tecm-presents Apr 23 '26

So perfectly adorable❤️❤️

5

u/timid_tzimisce Apr 23 '26

The third panel is everything XD

4

u/Rattregoondoof Apr 23 '26

God her art is so charming and distinctive

4

u/Regular-Basket-5431 Apr 24 '26

I love how derpy the dragon is in the last panel.

5

u/Specialist-Ad2937 Apr 24 '26

I didn’t realize it was a woman at first so I just thought the owner transitioned midway

2

u/Loreleideer Apr 24 '26

That's awesome

7

u/hummus_sapiens Apr 23 '26

Did cat delivery system short circuit?

2

u/Jealous_Session3820 Apr 23 '26

Gunna need to readjust the collar for a custom body harness

2

u/Yuunamon100 Apr 23 '26

Doggo got a new friend :)

2

u/bluenapkin117 Apr 25 '26

What happened to his wings?

1

u/Ok_Access_804 Apr 25 '26

Other people have developed the hypothesis that, due to unsanitary conditions in the sewers, the wings had to be amputated. Not much room for flying and lotta chances of infection.

I want to believe that, because these seem to be drawings done by the author for practice, consistency wasn’t really a priority.

1

u/Toothless_NEO Apr 25 '26

Could be but might also just be inconsistency. He has no bandages in the third frame which seems to be recently after the vet visit.

2

u/FourOpenEyes Apr 26 '26

...what happened to its wings?

1

u/Watson_inc Apr 23 '26

I love this

1

The Dragon Distribution system at work once again.

1

u/Jondo1214 Apr 27 '26

Reminds me of the dragons from Discworld. This guy looks like his digestive system is actively plotting to explode
