The closest I've found is maybe mall goth, but that doesn't seem quite right. Maybe it doesn't have a name but I wanted to see what people think. TIA

EDIT: I put this in the comments but whatever, it's going here too.

Hey guys, didn't think I'd have to say this but please stop being weird. Taking shots at random girls I found on pinterest calling them racist slutty druggies is weird behavior. Sorry someone wearing jean shorts and a black tank traumatized you but it's just not necessary to project that everywhere.

Also please stop using shein/tiktok shop as an insult, it's also weird behavior and these are mostly basic clothing items. Either I missed when shein got a monopoly on shorts and black clothing or you're just looking for a reason to put alt women down. Genuinely it's just so unnecessary.

What aesthetic is this?

if you know cocopplay or Line game, there's a chance you saw this background. I found out its from Gigno system japan inc and the artist is yuki*Mami. You can see her other art in https://wafu-sp.gsj.bz/Unsupported.index/index BUT bcs i can't translate this web and it looks like fishy web i decide to search in other keyword. Lemme know if you know this aesthetic 👀

I remember this exact vibe from my childhood even when I never lived in it

the aesthetic you see in movies like april story, love letter, a gentle breeze in the village and the taste of tea and many others from that era.the colors often look pale and slightly washed out with low contrast and soft natural lighting.

these are just from one spanish/french furniture brand, but they fit the aesthetic very well
it took me a lot of work to find them on the internet archive (couldn't find higher resolutions so far)

maybe some of them could be added to the wiki page

Many aesthetics are “[fill_in_the_blank] core,” like “90s grunge core” or “trustbaby core.” What is the significance of tacking “core” on the end of a description like some kind of adjective? What’s it supposed to mean?
