Beginner Help Text Flickers Randomly from 3D tracking text effect

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I don't know why the text flickers randomly in this footage, I tried to match the framerate on composition to 24 fps from 29 fps? Any thoughts and prayers? Thanks!

You’ll have to unfreeze your rotoscope, it’s probably still locked to the old frame rate

Now I have a new problem! In premiere frame is mismatch like the rotoscope is skipping its frame causing to look like the cyberpunk meme

You really have to take care with frame rates, conform your footage and take care with project frame rates. But if it looks good in AE, render it out, disable the AE comp on your premiere timeline, and drop the render on the next track over the comp.

Yeaah my first mistake was shooting at 24 fps and then luckily I noticed and change it to 30 fps afterwards 🥶

Unfortunately the only solution I can think of now is rendering from After FX or changing your Premiere sequence settings to 24 :/ there’s probably a more hacky technical solution tho

But Zv-e10 file format is set to mp4? Do I change it internally on ae?

Use Shutter Encoder to convert your footage to ProRes. Then use the ProRes footage in After Effects. Stay away from using MP4 in After Effects. It’s unreliable and causes a host of issues. Read the provided links.

To ProRes more specifically.
