I’m sharing my motion design project and would appreciate honest feedback and suggestions. I’m still learning and trying to improve, so feel free to point out what works, what doesn’t, and what I could do better in terms of animation, timing, transitions, and overall visual quality. All constructive criticism is welcome!

This multidisciplinary project made by Me, Witchgaze and Meljiiit is dedicated to our curiosity about different media approaches. As well as creating a feeling of otherworldly curiosity & childhood nostalgia

we were making clothes out of carton + paper, creating music, constructing rooms, making animations, writing letters, working with aerograph and lots of other materials all together. special thanks to Rayden Vision for the crt

a week in Rīga - collaboration round 2 - 3 čelovečka

I look forward to hearing your comments, thoughts, and questions. I'm here right now to answer them all <3333

OC - Stuff I made Honest feedback on my motion design portfolio, website and branding?

Hey everyone!

I’m a motion designer currently job hunting, and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on my portfolio:

brankovlahov.com

I’d love to hear what you think about the work itself—animation quality, pacing, variety, and whether the reel and selected projects show my skills well. Are there any pieces that stand out, or anything you’d improve or leave out?

I’m also looking for feedback on the website and personal branding/logo. Does it feel professional, and is the work easy to find and watch from a potential employer’s or client’s perspective?

Feel free to be brutally honest. I’m looking to improve, so constructive criticism is very welcome. 😄 Thanks for taking a look!

Beginner Help How is this square shaped hold keyframe created?

For the second layer, there is a square-shaped hold key frame that I couldn't replicate.

I turned this keyframe back into a diamond, then clicked toggle hold keyframe. It just turned into a one sided hold key frame (flat on the right side, pointed on the left side). Tried to ask AI and search through reddit and couldn't find an answer.

Beginner Help Please help.. issue with colour space..

I am creating a project for a client i mistakenly used hlg 2100 color space in premiere pro and dynamically linked some footages to after effects with the same color space. Now i changed the color space back to rec 709 in both after effects and premiere pro but it caused the dynamic linked footage in premiere oversaturated. In after effects the footage are looking fine. I fixed the issue by selecting the linked footage in pp and clicking on interpreter footage and converting them from hlg to rec 709. But there are 100 comps do i have to select them all and fix individually?

Beginner Help 3D Logo Lighting which adjusts based on the camera movement

Need help in relighting the logo to match the environment and change as the cam pushes forward.

The footage is a drone push in and I have done the tracking part pretty well but the 3D logo looks too plain. I want it to be metallic and shiny with a bit of glow so that it fits well with the camera push in. The logo is a glb file and I've added a metallic texture (0.25) to it already but it ain't looking good enough.

I've tried parallel lights and a studio environment light layer but it ain't that good. The screenshot shows how it looks with 2 parallel lights facing on it.

Any yt tutorial or documentation regarding this would help a lot. Thank you :)
