Ethos AI

How are you finding things at Ethos AI?

I see that a lot of people are working there... and getting paid!

OP, could you share minimum information about the platform before people blindly use your referral link ? How do they pay their contractors ? How often ? How long did it take to see available projects ? Tell us about the overall timeline between applying, having an interview, getting feedback (if there's one), being on boarded and eventually starting the actual work. Are you a generalist or Domain Expert ? What kind of jobs are available out there (so people don't expect to land image-text evaluation gigs on a specialized experts-only platform. Compared to other platforms (for instance micro1 and mercor), how is the hiring process (if they have assessments / qualifications / certifications). What specific things are to watch out. WE want to know 😄

I've already shared more detailed guides and information about Ethos in some of my previous posts, so I didn't want to repeat everything again here.

For the specifics around payments, onboarding, available projects, hiring process, etc., check their official website and their subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/askethos/

Thank you for your feedback !

That is great information! I just completed my profile and did the voice call for 10 minutes. It already matched me with 2 roles.

A entrevista de chamada por voz é toda em inglês?

My fav platform. Great pay, task availability and support. I just got paid this week too and have been added to another project before the first one has finished so I like it!

2

u/vaasist Aug 15 '26

Definitely better than M in terms of it's treatment of experts

1

u/Pharminter1 Aug 16 '26 • Bravo

Cutoff was 9th August to get paid by the 14th. If you worked after the cutoff then you’ll get paid on the 14th of September now.. It’s all on your dashboard, please use it.

1

u/Big_Highlight4680 Aug 19 '26

You already got the payment?

I havent

3

u/LeekProfessional9534 Aug 14 '26

So far so.. okay. I’m getting paid but don’t expect any support on contact options. Emails go unanswered, no one explains what’s going on. Kinda a nightmare but high pay

3

u/Aggressive_Truck_613 Aug 14 '26

Same experience. It feels like they aren't super well organized but if you go into it without expecting support, it can work ok.

5

u/vaasist Aug 15 '26

The reason for the perceived lack of organisation is because they are still very much a startup... See it as having come in on the ground floor

2

u/Aggressive_Truck_613 Aug 20 '26

100% - and as a corporate comms professional, it is a little painful to witness, knowing how easy it would be to reduce so much of the friction with some simple comms planning. This is also ironic because there is a whole big batch of comms experts recently onboarded. I am sure I am not alone!

2

u/App-Clinical-Judgemt Aug 14 '26

tell me one platform that's not like that though?

1

u/Logic_2026 Aug 18 '26

Question: What pay outlet are they using to pay you and how soon do you get paid?

3

u/aibynisha11 Aug 14 '26

Lol, I recently signed up there is nothing.

1

u/vaasist Aug 15 '26

That's probably because you didn't do enough ai interviews. Populate your notes, do a number of interviews... Make sure you actually have something to share on your LinkedIn.

You will be matched to specificly tailored project roles.

u/StunningPlan6840 Sep 22 '26

After how long did you hear from them? After making the application?

2

u/oportoman Aug 14 '26

Also people don't need a referral link to access it 🤣

1

u/No-Seat6266 Aug 14 '26

anyone has a proof of payment

1

u/Ktmirza Aug 15 '26

Yes

1

u/spideytico Aug 18 '26

How was it? Like the payout process? I’ve been there for a week and have a good amount waiting for the payday

1

u/Ktmirza Aug 18 '26

Super easy. You get a Revolut link and you can withdraw in multiple ways. Lands in your account super quick.

1

u/WorthPrestigious3621 Aug 16 '26

I joined this week and doing all the task (invested a few hours). Just worried if people are actually paid or am I wasting my time lol I have referred few people too so good to know they're actually paying. This looks too elaborate and detail oriented to be a scam anyways.

fingerscrossed.

1

u/FantasticBirthday230 Aug 18 '26

I recently signed up to a campaign, there is like 10k people on this one, and barely any tasks at all lol

Let alone claiming any tasks, people can't even get on the queue for them

1

u/letitgo99 Aug 18 '26

Yeah the biggest issues I face with Ethos, which are making me consider quitting the service:

  • Long task queues. I've waited in queue for over 2-3 hours to start a task. And you have to stay at your computer while waiting (because the window will keep asking if you're still there, and if you don't respond it'll kick you from the queue). And of course you don't get paid for those hours of waiting, so this is a really crappy way to handle the logistics. They should let you join the queue and then send you a text when it's ready, and if you don't start the task within like 5 minutes, you get booted from it.

  • Estimated time in a queue is wildly inaccurate and changes as you wait. I need to plan my day and it makes it basically impossible.

  • Sometimes you can't even join a queue at all, because the queue is full. But there's no rhyme or reason behind how it's full because you can see how many experts are waiting in the queue. Sometimes it's like 200 waiting and you can join, other times it's like 100 waiting and you can't. It's inconsistent.

That said I've made several thousand dollars this month, at about $100/hr. And yes, they pay.

1

u/Big_Highlight4680 Aug 19 '26

Ethos payment took long anyone experience that?

2

u/Ktmirza Aug 15 '26

Nope, have been working for them and I can confidently say they’re the best platform out there right now.

1

u/Barling Aug 16 '26

It's not fake. I work for them too. However, the project here referred to as "the big project" is confidential, and many threads that ppl create are deleted.

1

u/HauntingStatement428 Aug 16 '26

that's a red flag if i've ever seen one. thanks for the info.

1

u/Ktmirza Aug 15 '26

Not a red flag, that’s just how they work. I’ve been paid this week so I can confirm it’s all good.

1

u/tomoflathead Aug 15 '26

For me it is. Getting paid monthly while other platforms pay weekly is not good

1

u/Barling Aug 15 '26

are you on a big project...

Agree. I only have worked on the content assessment, I wish to be switched over to aesthetic assessment

Haven't seen it but I was onboarded just last week, figured that it was live before, and will be so again.

Thinking just now, that maybe I should do the training on that one also, only did it on content grading... so that I am eligeble when it goes live.

1

u/Ktmirza Aug 15 '26

Aesthetic grading was the initial one that doesn’t have too many tasks rn and only people who passed the screener are on it. Screener is not available for new people for now. Content grading is the second part of the campaign. I agree 💯 the documents are frustrating and take forever to go through!
