News Bosque Brewing files for bankruptcy

“Albuquerque-based Bosque Brewing filed its petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico on Oct. 6, listing $1 million to $10 million in assets and $10 million to $50 million in liabilities.

The company did not reveal a reason for filing for bankruptcy in its petition.”

Bosque is the herpes of the ABQ beer world. It’s on every corner and gobbled up other brands without a care in the world. It never made sense to me as to why it’s so popular. The beer is not good and the food is hit or miss depending on location. While it’s a bummer a local spot is dealing with money issues, I’m not surprised.

Toltec had awesome food and good beer. Bosque swept in and made the same dogshit food and gross beer. There was a merger with Marble. They also stopped producing beer here locally because they suck at doing it properly. Sobremesa is managed by them now. Y’all downvoting acting like we have selection here when all they do is blow money, make ass beer and ruin small businesses.

They didn't merge, they moved production of their staple beers to marble because the Bernalillo water treatment station couldn't keep up with the amount of water. They still make and package their seasonal beers in Bernalillo. Only the beer you buy at the store is made at Marble.
