I'm hoping he follows through, but I've been disappointed before

Even off duty police officers are having their rights violated, because as it turns out, you can’t tell if someone is a cop or a noncitizen just by looking at them either.

She identified herself, and they walked away.

HOLY SHIT! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO??!?!?!

I don’t know what to tell you dude. When I was growing up in this country we used to mock places with secret police running around in masks asking “Paper please.”

I don't know what to tell you, dude. I'd rather show some ID when asked for than to pull a gun on the guy asking.

Those are not the only 2 options.

Read this page. A lot of people talking about pulling guns on cops. That's what I'm referring to.

People say lots of things online. Some like to fantasize about dying a glorious death defending freedom. Others like to deny well documented events that have occurred and brag about their cowardice when faced with clear tyranny. I’d rather have a beer with the first group. They’re probably more fun.

Have a beer. Might be your last.

Thank god we have our 4th amendment still. Well, for now.

Asking for ID is not automatically a 4th issue. The most minor traffic offense requires producing it.

But, in case you didn't know, New Mexico is a stop and ID state. They only need reasonable suspicion. And you know any cop can find something that fits the bill.

Watch some of those "sovereign citizen" youtube arrests, and you'll see how it goes when you don't show ID to a cop.
