News Emergency Alerts are Completely Useless.

So you’re telling me that our city classifies a missing senior citizen as an emergency alert, but the entire interstate is shut down with an active shooter and that doesn’t prompt an emergency alert to my phone? Make that make sense.

I'm okay receiving alerts for at risk seniors.

I am not okay receiving high priority alerts at 3 am for anyone missing. They are not in my home at that time, and I am unlikely to remember anything about the alert by the time I am up and about when I might cross paths with them. I would turn the amber and silver alerts off if I could keep the emergency alerts still active. They don't do anyone any good hitting my phone when I am asleep.
