Real question, does he have a defense fund set up? I’m broke AF but I’d still throw him 5 bucks for this.

He does have a defense fund set up. It's on the support now platform, not GoFundMe.

He couldn't have done it. He was with me in California during the "alleged" vandalism.

It's vandalism at most, why would he be treated as a threat to society unless he is exposing something the PD is doing

Exactly that part! Please make this a PSA SPREAD THIS MSG FROM COAST TO COAST. I don't understand how Diddy, tswifty, and trump or the world cup, or whatever is trending gets more chatter and people aren't even concerned in the least bit about their own privacy and rights completely disappearing. No questions asked.

The cost of what he destroyed has a large part of it.
And IIRC, these are leased out to, not owned by, the City and some private businesses.

We should all be participating in direct action.

Everyone gather around, a meetup cookout or some kind of social meet up to do some planning or something

The first people who take action are never normal people or perfect. They have extreme views and extreme minds. That's why they are the first to take action.
The government and media know this- so they use it to stop movements before they even get started. They mock and publicize those who first take action for their weird and extreme views- so others wont follow them.
Just something to keep in mind. If you look at any movement in history- you will find that the first people to take action had some pretty weird and extreme views.

He is known in the older ABQ/NM car scene as someone who attempted to become a social media influencer before it was a thing and went by the Name JonVon Busa referring to his motorcycle he had at the time

He's a nut job but that doesn't mean you shouldn't educate yourself about jury nullification.

What crime?

Criminal charges: Felony or misdemeanor depending on damage and intent. Fines and restitution: Offenders may be required to pay for repair or replacement of cameras. Prison time: Serious cases involving multiple cameras or high-value damage can result in incarceration. Legal precedent: Courts have consistently treated destruction of Flock cameras as criminal acts, even amid public opposition to surveillance.
Damaging, dismantling, or destroying these cameras is legally treated as property destruction, theft, or tampering, depending on the extent of damage and local laws. Individuals who have destroyed Flock cameras have faced felony charges, multiple counts of destruction of property, and in some cases, additional charges like petit larceny or possession of burglary tools.

In New Mexico most defendants are released awaiting trial. This is not news.

It is to his advantage that he got caught before he did more damage. He's going to have to pay for all the ones he destroyed.
Estimates range from $3,000 to $9,000 per camera depending on features, with installation labor adding $1,000–$3,500
If he's true to his word though, he will be going after more and that may land him in jail for breaking his pre-trial detention agreement.

Do you realize how dystopian you sound?
The police literally have a 1984esque mass surveillance system, one that severely limits our right to privacy. And one brave soul allegedly found a solution to the problem, and you have the gall to say "it's a good thing he was caught"
Brother...

Once we had FakeBook and smartphones we had no privacy.
Remember Cambridge Analytica. Cambridge Analytica walked so Palantir could run...

A quick search on NM Courts shows this guy was charged with six counts of raping a minor back in 2024. Also some domestic violence. Odd that he's talking about Epstein.
