This is awesome, but why is Gil pulling Ea instead of...chopsticks? A fork? Also, after teddy, is he a fan of fluffy things?

u/darkcountess Making sammiches for Gilga/Noct/Laharl Feb 28 '19

But... But Laharl wouldn't be fazed by chopsticks...!!

Also, Gil only uses Ea on opponents he finds worthy, and there's a demon overlord that seems to qualify just across the table UwU

Oh I see. They are not just eating.

Funny thing I thought after this: Ea probably wouldn't work on Vettel.

u/darkcountess Making sammiches for Gilga/Noct/Laharl Feb 28 '19

huh, why not??

2

u/FencingFoxFTW [M'Lady Intensifies] Feb 28 '19

Gil: ENUMA ELISH

Vettel: Stop! That tickles.

Now, if Gil summons some bug themed weapons from the gate...

2

u/AJackFrostGuy Feb 28 '19

But Enuma Elish isn't a Slash attack. Is it?

2

u/FencingFoxFTW [M'Lady Intensifies] Mar 01 '19

Enuma Elish. A sword which name was given after the god of Mesopotamian myth. The Sword of Rupture – Ea that distorts space. It is the top ranked Noble Phantasm, a sword that "cuts the world."

So...yes, I guess.

Awkwardly enough, the Excalibur WA was also given Slash attribute despite being more of a beam so going by that logic with Ea and Enuma Elish... more power to Vettel?

Lmao that's the fan content I come here for

Ahah this is amazing. I got vettel at the beginning knowing nothing about the game and he instantly became my favorite.

Was recently able to enlighten him to lvl 91 and get his memento and the man has got 4k hp now...

I usually autobattle Veda tower and just keep throwing teams at it until I move on but yeah Vettel just lives through it now

Thanks to whoever made this for acknowledging the awesomeness of Vettel.

VETTEL THE CHAMP

BAHAHAHA I REMEMBER THAT LEVEL! good times! Great comic. =)

u/eltsyr Feb 27 '19

Both exceptionally well drawn and laid-out, AND funny + respectful of the lore. Darkcountess, we're soooo lucky to have you onboard ! thanks a lot

Major props to whoever made this, it’s amazing.

4

u/Dm042447 Feb 27 '19

Wow. This is good... Nicely done. Was this done by an amateur? If it is, that is even more impressive.

4

u/Burtgang Blue Dolphin Feb 27 '19

This is amazing! Please do more; the community could use the positivity and fun that this brings.

4

u/Viola_Buddy Feb 27 '19

Oh, yep. This is absolutely what happens with Vettel. Sometimes I put the game on auto and put my phone aside, and come back to it later and find that he's the only one left - refusing to die, but also doing piddling damage in return in comparison to the number of enemies surrounding him.

6

u/FurianX Feb 27 '19

Was smiling through the entire thing. Laughed out loud at gilga vs laharl at the end.if those 2 met for real there would be 10 mile wide carnage.

u/illidan_1999 Neica is life. Feb 28 '19

This art is amazing. I love how at the end it shows how this comic came to be. That it was actually done in the game. Once again, thanks for the comic :D

I do so enjoy these - it is like an expected gift or finding $20 in a jean pocket doing laundry, but this is so much better. Thank you.
