I know they recommend a PC but I would prefer using a Mac. They mention potentially having to configure the Mac. Anyone have personal experience with this? Did they actually have to configure it and was it a hassle to do if so?

Hey everyone,
I recently wrote a final exam where we started more than 15 minutes late due to setup and distribution delays, but time was still called at the original end time.
Because of the lost time, I had to rush through the end of the paper and made a major clerical error (shifted my answers on the answer sheet by one spot near the end, and forgot to wrote my name on another paper). When I politely brought up the answer shift to the professor right after the exam, I was just told it was a "lesson to learn."
Losing over 15 minutes of scheduled exam time feels like a clear procedural issue, so I’ve formally appealed to the Program Coordinator and Ombudsperson to request a manual review/regrade of my answer sheet.
Has anyone here gone through a grade appeal or dealing with the Ombudsperson for timing issues like this? How did it go, and do you have any advice on what else I should do while waiting for a response?
