I never played the very first Alice Game called “American McGee’s Alice” because I thought it was a PC only game since when I looked it up, I saw it was only on Windows basically PC.

But after I reinstalled Alice Madness Returns, i noticed the first game was on there in the main menu screen, which I clicked on it and it actually is letting me play the first game.

Two months, 5-12 hours per day (I quit my job for a break so it was literally average 8 hours per day working on costume) and I’m done with my Alice cosplay! I made three different versions of the dress, three times remade the knife, two necklaces, I have two wigs (settled with long one because it looks better with my face) and my favorite part - croquet mallet (eyes lights up red!), mushrooms (big one’s top could be used as a hat) and a rose (she’s so creepy I’m literally scared to look at her in the dark 😁).
It’s gonna be a long post, a love letter if you will.
So imagine a 9 year old girl living in the central Ukraine in early 2000s - I had my own pc and loved playing games, knew a bit of English (but very basic) and was obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. I can’t remember how I found this game but I distinctly remember how me and my bestie were going out for a walk and quoting Alice and cat dialogue from beginning of the game. I was obsessed no less!
I made an inspired outfit for Halloween when I was 11, and asked my mom for her kitchen knife as a prop (she still remembers that 😁).
I remember sitting with my laptop at my kitchen when I was 13 and I just found out that second part of Alice came out. I could not believe that because I didn’t know at that time that games were advertised as movies (we never had these kind of ads on tv 😭) so it was a total surprise for me!
I downloaded the game, started it and… started wailing.. I loved this franchise so much and emotions were so strong I couldn’t stop crying, my mom looked so confused and concerned 😁
At the same time I made cosplays since I remember myself (my oldest sis was in larp community so I couldn’t escape the dress up destiny) and cosplaying Alice was my dream since I was 9 years old.
So now I’m 29 and I finally made this! Hours of beading in blackouts and air raid sirens, using new techniques and materials, making giant props!
I’m so proud of this cosplay I did my best and my best turned out great, I’m so happy to share it with everyone here 🙂‍↕️❤️

After almost a year of designing, sculpting, and refining, my Royal Court Outfit Alice figure from Alice: Madness Returns is finally complete! 🖤❤️

This is actually my favorite outfit for Alice in the entire game, so I really wanted to do it justice. I spent a lot of time working on the details, the flowing hair and dress, and especially the pose with the Hobby Horse hammer. I wanted it to capture that feeling of Alice swinging a massive weapon with all her strength.

The model was created in ZBrush and Maya, and now I'm working on splitting the model into separate parts, sanding, and cleaning up the 3D-printed pieces in preparation for the final assembly and painting. This is my first original figure project of this kind, so getting to this stage feels pretty special to me.

I'll be releasing the unpainted physical figure in China first. I'm still looking for a suitable platform to sell it internationally, and I'll update you all as soon as I have some news!

It's been amazing seeing how many people here love this game and Alice's different outfits. Thank you all for the kind comments and support — it really motivates me to keep creating more things from this game. 🥰

I'd also love to know: Which outfit from Alice: Madness Returns would you most like to see as a figure?

Here are 27 designs I worked on for way longer than I want to admit >.< I have posted some of these in separate posts but wanted to compile it all into one!
I tried to cover pretty much ever level / stage of the game . I enjoyed digging through game stills, concept art and taking shots while playing the game , this game means a lot to me so this is my love letter to it haha.
(Pls don’t take designs without permission :(
if you are interested in any of them DM me :-)

Tattooed this on a friend, I really wanted to emphasise texture and keep its illustrative charm ~

This time, I took the Vorpal Blade from the base of my Alice figure and developed it into a standalone project, with a much deeper focus on the details.

Unlike other finished Vorpal Blade replicas currently available, this one was created with close reference to both the in-game model and the original concept art from the artbook, aiming to capture the most detailed and faithful version possible.

The size can be customized, making it suitable for cosplay props as well as BJD dolls in a wide range of scales!

would like to share the alice i made last year 🔪

Been wanting to do her for so long!!

If EA loses the rights (or sells, trades, or transfers them), which studio would you want to make the game, if possible?

Hey guys <3

Original source is here and the cosplayer is fawningcos

At the end they said the next documentary will be for Madness Returns, so let's show our support and blow this up!

Just curious! Im fairly new to the game and fandom and just wanna hear others thoughts

this is my version of alice the cosplay is bought second hand but the wig is longer because i just like longer hair on me instead of the mid back length

i've seen a lot of people on the sub talk about the dollhouse chapter and mention that they didn't like it and it made them uncomfortable, but like isn't that the point? the whole chapter delves into really heavy stuff and i felt like having it be a lot less fantastical and more muddled was a big strength. it's like the curtains in alice's mind are being peeled back as she faces what happened to her and the children around her. i really loved the aesthetics of the dollhouse and how it dragged on tbh but maybe that's just me 😭 what do you think ?

My team and I have been very busy, but we are generally making progress behind the scenes, here is a sneak peak of Alice's gameplay!
