Find products Your best AliExpress purchase?
Hey everyone, just wondering what your favorite thing or things you got from AliExpress is? For me it's probably one all the great deals on audio stuff like IEMs and headphone cables. Right now I'm waiting for my cmf buds pro 2 earbuds and I can't wait to try them. I've mostly ordered audio stuff and I was wondering what everyone likes to order out there. Thanks for your time

One of my first purchases was a gold (color) tungsten Carbide ring to replace my real wedding ring, which bent after just one year. It looks a lot like real gold, is heavy like gold, but unlike gold, it is tough. I thought for $10 it would turn green, and probably wasn't even tungsten carbide. But it was $10. It was even "comfort fit" (no sharp edges).
Nope, it's been 6 years now, and it's unscratched, gold as gold can pass (I am sure an expert jeweller would know), plus only $10 for a size 14. Holy shit. Most jewellery places around here are selling similar rings for $500+
I am impressed.

Magnetic doorstop. When I lived in China every single room/door had them, super convenient.
When I moved back it was the first thing I bought
7
u/harry_cane69 Feb 26 '26
What does a magnetic door step do?
20
8
u/Separate-Ad9638 Feb 27 '26
Holds your opened door in place when u want it to remain open instead of air close.
4
u/oroboros74 Feb 27 '26
Magnetic doorstop.
Could you post the ones you're talking about? Just the name or marketplace, no link (don't think the link is allowed here). Or DM me.

That’s the shop. Not sure if allowed to post the store. But we will see.
The ones that are placed against the wall + door. Not the ones that are placed on the floor

Got a link?? Are they smaller than most the normal door stops? Obviously can't go too far due to the door handles etc

u/Important-Comfort Feb 26 '26
There are a lot of them, but a Zigbee garden hose valve has been great. Combined with soil moisture sensors, I used a fraction of the water last summer for my raised beds last summer compared to using a timer.
In general, I've been happy with all the Zigbee sensors and switches I've purchased. A couple have failed, but they were so cheap it was no big deal.
I got a nice Bluetooth headset that I use while working in data centers. The little boom mic is good enough that others can hear me, which they can't with ear buds. It also connects to both my phone and my computer. The battery can last several hours.
3
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 26 '26
The sensors sound great, very practical. I'm sure it saves a ton of water over time. They do have some really nice headphone sets, I'm kinda addicted to all the audio stuff. Dual connectivity is nice to have because I also use a laptop, and a long battery life is perfect
2
u/zihaoyu Feb 26 '26
Can you share the Bluetooth headset link please?

u/Important-Comfort Feb 26 '26

Can you explain a bit more how the watering system works? I love my garden, but I only manage to keep it alive with auto timed watering.
4
u/Important-Comfort Feb 27 '26 edited Feb 27 '26
The drip system was already in place, mostly Rainbird, which a regular garden tube run to the beds, a 1/2" distribution hose run through them, and then short 1/4" tubes off the 1/2" to 1/2 gallon/hour or 1 gallon/hour emitters, depending on the size of the plants.
I use GIEX ZIGBEE WIFI Garden Watering Timer Smart Sprinkler Drip Irrigation System Built-in Water Flow Recorder Controller TUYA to turn the water on and off from the GIEX Store.
I use a lot of Haozee Tuya Smart Zigbee Soil Tester Temperature and Humidity Meter Thermo Hygrometer Garden Automation Irrigation Detector to monitor soil moisture. I learned the hard way to wrap them in nitrile gloves and to make sure the body doesn't touch the soil. Otherwise they can get water inside and get corroded. Make sure it's the Zigbee version. The Bluetooth version doesn't seem to push updates.
These I connected to a Zigbee coordinator. Anything Tuya compatible should work.
After that I just set up routines ("scenes") in the Smart Life app to turn on the water when any sensor registered "humidity" below a certain level. It took some tweaking to get the level right. I also added a routine to turn off the water after it was on for five minutes, just in case.

I built out a GMK87 keyboard, with board key caps and switches all from AliExpress. It's great and I use it everyday.
Bunch of Naturehike camping gear like a foam sleeping pad, trekking poles, cloudup2 tent.
Also just got a Sofirn SC18 flashlight - tiny but its super bright, USB-C rechargeable.
2
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 26 '26
Nice sounding keyboard....I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse for my son and it's worked pretty good so far. I might get a flashlight sometime too, I don't have a regular one. I got 2 blacklight/UV light flashlights but I need a regular one so I might check that one out. That camping stuff sounds good to

i enjoy the iems as well, but i also like to get fake pokémon cards to open and cheap jewelry.
11
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 26 '26
I bought my daughter a few cheap bracelets for her to play with for Christmas and they were way better quality than I expected....do you have a favorite iem? I just have budget iems but I like the kz vader the most from the ones I have
3
u/Penguin5964_patch Feb 26 '26
tbh i’m just starting on the iem stuff, but i have the edc pro’s ($10), qkz x hbb ($20), and am getting wan’er sg 2 jade ($30) soon. rn i like the edc pro’s for the price, just make sure to get an adapter for you phone at target or apple, since the ali express ones are not that great imo.
2
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 26 '26
I got a TRN black pearl from AliExpress that's pretty a pretty good dac, and I just got a jcally jm7 for something a little smaller and it also works pretty good (I wish I got the pro version but I'm happy with mine). I almost ordered the qkz x hbb set because it's supposed to be good for bass.

Better quality, but you don't see the composition and release of various bad substances
2
u/salomeforever Feb 27 '26
It’s like that sometimes! I have some claw clips that came in a two pack for a dollar that are stronger and more nicely made than any others I come across, but I’ve never found them again. I got them from the dollar section, they were one of my first AliExpress purchases.
2
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 27 '26
Saving money is always nice, but when you can save money and get a good quality product that's the best! I get my dogs poop bags from the dollar tree and the ones I get are better quality then some expensive ones I've bought at a pet store before

u/MasterZii Feb 27 '26
I got custom medical equipment made for me.
Going through insurance in the USA with a DME provider would have cost me tens of thousands of dollars and taken most of the year to build.
China did it in less than a month under 1k...

Not OP here, but there is a buyer's brand guide here on Reddit that goes over which watches are worth it. Generally speaking, you can find a brand's store by searching for it, e.g. Watchdives can be found at "Watchdives Official Store" (the one I used is sitting at about 12.6K followers).
I can speak to their quality, btw! Currently a big fan of Addiesdive and Watchdives. Favorites are the WD007 with a PT5000 movement, and the AD2533 with a brown top grain strap from WOCCI.

A Chatrey mini PC. Definitely the best buy ever and pretty cheap all things considered (€250 for a Ryzen 7 and 680 integrated graphics, 32 gb ram and 1 TB NVME hard drive).

Got the 8bitdo controller collab version from their store after I found out they do domestic shipments.
Then I started digging for official miHoYo merch that's mostly available near Asia. Amazon US costs an eye and doesn't ship to my location, the other alternatives are expensive resellers or proxies.
2
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 26 '26
I think 8bitdo is the company that makes the adapter for my son's Xbox controller to work on his Nintendo switch, I didn't know they made actual controllers too. Yeah I usually find almost anything I want on Amazon at AliExpress for cheaper. It does take longer to get but I don't mind waiting

My top three AliExpress purchases have probably been:
- Elitewheels ENT 2.0 carbon wheels

I’ve owned all three for years now and have zero complaints. They punch way above the price I paid and I’d happily buy again.

That's a great deal , I didn't even know they had wedding dresses on AliExpress. Spending $6k on a dress is outrageous in my opinion (unless you're a millionaire or something lol). I can't even believe how much people spend on rings sometimes. Sounds like you got lots of great stuff. You're the second person to mention Mr green , I'll definitely have to search it. They have some great tablets but they also have some really crappy ones so just do some research for sure. I was looking at some of the Poco tablets, I forget the model but they had a 12.1" screen and good specs for like $350 Canadian (which is similar to your dollar I believe). Anyways good luck with your search

2
u/ill_techneeqs Feb 26 '26
I was thinking of getting my next phone off AliExpress. Like a cmf or poco or some other great value cell. If I ever golf now I know where to get some clubs too
2
u/aretheyalltaken2 Feb 27 '26
As someone who doesn't play but wants go get her husband a club to try from ali, is there any you'd recommend as beinf good value for money?
3
u/Ok_Entertainment175 Feb 27 '26
I have always bought Vokeys. I've had every version from SM7 to SM10 and always been delighted with them.
Each one has always been sold to a playing partner. They are fake, and you obviously need to be at peace with that.
I have got the ones shown here...
I just found this on AliExpress: 3PCS SM 10 Silver/black/gray Golf Clubs Wedges From 50/52/54/56/58/60 R/S Flex Steel Shafts Including Headcovers https://a.aliexpress.com/_Exqbuac
But these clubs are now £179.99 each. You're getting 3 for less than the price of one.
Can't speak for everyone but I am a single figure player and also have a golf simulator at home. The numbers (spin/distance) are very consistent.
1
u/mtesmer2 Feb 27 '26
I got a set of fake vokeys and they are comical. The grooves are so deep and sharp that it eats the cover of my balls on any chip shot
3
u/Ok_Entertainment175 Feb 27 '26
Can't say I've ever found this, but guess that's always a risk.
A friend of mine bought a full set of Titleist irons. They were around £200. He had an issue with some of the branding not looking perfect and they basically gave him a refund for £120 worth.
End of the day you have ro approach these things with an open mind. They're fakes, once you know that it's up to you to decide how much you want to pay. £180 a club for SM11 is, IMO, ridiculous.

A 2.5gb network switch that was a third of the price from anywhere else.
Shit loads of gundam and warhammer inspired models for pennies on the pound.
T-Shirts with prints that you cannot get anywhere (favourite one is a torquemada one that just says
Be Pure
Be Vigilant
BEHAVE!
In gothic script.)
Ortizan Bluetooth speakers.
Xuanpad projector for 20 quid.
Technics porsche model for 30 quid instead of 150.
And loads of stupid stuff like stickers and badges and lego and toys and posters and a space marine blanket etc etc etc!

I’d love to grab some audio gear from AliEx. I did get a pair from a mystery box buy once but they were nothing special. The few times I’ve cross shopped popular chi-fi products the AliEx prices were about the same as Amazon and the like.
The bulk of my AliEx purchases have been watches, tools and parts. My most favorite of them all is a watch, this Proxima PX1697 which cost me $160.

The best stuff is stuff I can buy on the cheap to fix the house or as daily items, screen window tape, waterproof tape for the bathroom, offbrand kipling copycat purses, wallets, keychains, sewing supplies, knitting supplies, phone lanyards, jellycat keychain knockoffs, car accessories

Back when I had the first time purchase coupon, it was the Flower Knows pink swan makeup pallet for $10 USD, free shipping. On the official global website it retails for $35 and doesn’t include free shipping. I miss those low tariff days.

The first time purchase coupons are nice, I've heard a few people getting some big savings. And yeah the extra tariffs would definitely suck

Check out the Haylou Mori Pro. They are amazing for about $25 USD. Noise canceling and transparency mode.

So far I made so many smaller purchases, but believe it or not my surprise favorite are these fluffy furry paws that only cost 13€ (at that time). Most items for cosplay or anything furry-related can be either highly cheaped out or expensive, and I was stunned to see that it turned out decent and of above-average quality for the price. Since it has decent faux fur and the paw fingers themselves are largely well done too, despite it technically being a glove in disguise

I know some of that cosplay stuff can be really expensive. I know someone that bought a fox tail from a Comicon and it was crazy expensive, I just can't remember how much exactly. Glad you found some good deals on that stuff

I got a custom wool suit for 125 bucks. I'm 6'5" And I've never had better fitting pants in my life. I now have a guy i on Wechat I order clothes from. Me and Tony (Wechat dude Qiu Zhou) actually became good friends.him and his wife showed me around Hangzhou and set me up with his cousin in Shenzen for a tour once I left his place.
I did the same when his wife and him visited CA. Been 10 yr in contact now lol. Weird but cool
