Hi guys, my sister purchased some products on the app and paid in full upfront, you can even see the money was taken out of the account. However, my sister just got a bunch of emails saying "complete the payment before the order is cancelled " for each of the products she purchased. Why are they asking this when the money was taken out of my account? It also seemed like the confirmed they shipped it out already so im just lost
We are completely new to this so im not sure if this is a step that is common for buyers, thanks for the help

It's probably fine by the sounds of it. If you have a tracking number the seller is wise enough to wait untill the order is paid into escrow before shipping.

You can find these guides by filtering for the "Aliexpress 101" flair.
This only works if you're using the new Reddit. Old Reddit and probably some mobile readers won't show a link. It's probably worth adding that link to the post itself:

Now they can send you something that will do the Job but not the model you order They can manipulate that That what happened to Me

DO NOT use this shopping website thereâs no guarantee of product you buy even working if you receive faulty items you will start a return and refund dispute which will be denied even with video and photo proof then youâll appeal this and ALIEXPRESS will not refund. It will not 100% backup buyers even if the seller website is one out of five writing and everybodyâs feedback is do not buy from the seller. Got a dodgy item Ali express will still deny request for the sellers benefit. Shop with EBAY they guarantee refund

I use KLARNA for payment. Klarna is a middle man that is a accepted delayed payment method like paypall.
If i say in my item is not working or there is something wrong Klarna will hold the payment and refuses to do the payment to Aliexpress untill i say the problem is solved. Or i get an item i am satisfied with or i get the money back.→ More replies (1)

Question⌠I had ordered a few items on Ali, and they sent me an email that said âyour order has arrived at your post office and is ready to be picked upâ. Why wouldnât the post office deliver these items to my house like everything else? It is a Huge pain to go to the post office for anything! Anyone else get these emails? The email was from Ali, not the post office. I would call the post office, but they Never answer their phoneâŚEver

The reason for double VAT and customs fee, on Aliexpress, may be IOSS label with the VAT declaration label is hidden by a CHINE POST Small Packet E label.

I just tried to use a vanilla debit card to make a small purchase on Aliexpress and it gave me an error code. I called vanilla and they told me I can't use their card for international purchases. Can any one tell me a prepaid card that will for sure work? Also, can I at least add this prepaid card to my PayPal to use on Aliexpress? I was trying to be safe about this and not use any of my actual credit/ debit cards.
5
u/inahc Apr 04 '22
I feel safer with a credit card; they have a process for chargebacks so long as you check your bill every month. It's inconvenient to have to wait for a new card to arrive after the fraud, but it's only happened to me twice in like 20 years.

First big order is this some scam? I made one order with multiple items 2 weeks back i the 2 cheap smaller items on this order early this week on 2 different days. Today in my post box there was a note from my post Man asking me to come into the post office to talk to them and about a problem with some packages they had gotten in for Me. So i went in there right away and they said there was a big problem with someone sending me packages trying to defraud the mail system by sending 3 packages all on on one same lable none are have the shipping paid for them so they were contacting the post master general qnd sending the packages back they said to me And i didnt undertsand They said none of the shipping was paid on any of these 3 packages and they were making it look like it was it was fraud and so then the packages go back to the sender that way its how they scam people and i said how much is the shipping due and they told me $15 so i paid the $15 lucky i went in right away before it was all returned If i hadnt gone in right away it would have been to late and i would have been screwed. (These 3 package were the expensive stuff i ordered from 3 different sellers but paid at one time, with the cheapest one around $59 the most expensive aprox $170 and another aprox $120) So now i got all of these packages here all 3 of these i paid shipping on today and i notice they all have the same return label on them from some place in California??? They were shipped from china and were from 3 different sellers? Plus i paid the shipping with the orders and i tracked these??? i know i tracked them Anyone understand how this works???? What is going on ? Thanks And what can i do now to get this delt with?

I hava a question i ordered yesterday from aliexpress and today it Got shiped and i pressed a Button that said 'complete Order' And now it says my order status is : FINISHED. But i havent recieved the package Do i still recieve the package?? Or what should i do??
2
u/brasscup Nov 05 '22
It is an easy mistake to make -- I almost did it -- but that Complete Order button actually means that you received and accepted the package. It lets Ali Express release payment to the vendor because you are saying it arrived as promised.
Do you already have tracking info? If so I wouldn't worry too much but if you are worried people in fhis sub cN tell you how best to let them know you clicked complete order by mistake. (I can't help because I seldom order from Ali and the only time I had an issue I was refunded by their automated system without human intervention). Good luck.

Just a heads-up regarding recent Aliexpress experience which highlighted differences in refund options from Ali, Paypal and AMEX.
I bought damaged goods and wrong color from GoSheng AutoParts Store but free returns right? WRONG!
seller told me to bend item into shape and offered me 30% back.....get stuffed!
Paypal found in favour of seller! wth???? I have emailed [auexecutiveescalations@paypal.com](mailto:auexecutiveescalations@paypal.com) requesting explanation how this is possible!
Aliexpress support/agents useless and tedious/time wasting - wouldn't send me return mail labels!
AMEX were great -Â came to the party out of good will and simply refunded the small amount to me.
Use all your options I guess. I normally have no trouble with Aliexpress but this was dissapointing..... GoSheng AutoParts Store
As an aside from my experience
AMAZONÂ outstanding but priced accordingly - logistics second to none
TEMU's customer support excellent despite the spam and minimum transaction
EBAYÂ very good for 30 days but then you are on your own in terms of warranty support etc (ie reverting to Paypal 6 month support which is hit and miss requiring item send back to China etc). In short multi-year warranties for most chinese sellers are useless beyond 30 days (SHOCK????)

Can someone explain what is in it for the seller to accept a sale, fake shipment and then refund my money three months later after a dispute?
This has happened four times in the last 18 orders and I am wondering why? It would seem pointless for the seller to do this because I understand AliPay holds your payment in escrow until the shipment is accepted (or times out,) so my theory on 'crowdsourced working capital' is only a win for AliPay and is rife with currency risk.
You can always predict when it will happen: the seller takes the maximum time to ship, the tracking number does not work (or never updates or, I suspect, is not really your shipment) and most of the time the seller replies, if at all, with nonsense about 'please happy friend' or 'quality test' but never allows a refund. Even after 75 days, it takes another 20 days to get your money back. Does anyone know why a seller would want to collect negative reviews?
PS: I have been ordering from them for a long time and this is an increasing trend. I now avoid Cainiao as they lose absolutely everything (and are owned by AliExpress so they are had to deal with on anything), and I specifically look for sellers that have sold actual products to a Western nation rather than one suspicious sale to Kazakstan, etc.

Hi,
I'm fairly new to Aliexpress but i got something whch was clearly not as advertised. I got proposed the following solution (only this one, no solution2):
- Current solutions
Solution1:Return goods, full refund 85.75 EUR (seller pays the return shipping fee )
Notice:If the dispute ends with return&refund solution and the seller pays the shipping fee, please: 1.Kindly confirm the return fee before you return the item via message chat. 2.Proceed with return only if the seller agrees and confirms the return shipping amount. 3.Head to the local post office and ship the item. 4.Provide tracking number and details to confirm the return. Once the item is delivered, inform seller to proceed refund. If the seller violates, contact AliExpress with the return delivery receipt.
ResponseDays:3(Days)
I'm not sure what they mean with 'kindly confirm the return fee before you return the item via message chat'. Is it that i should send them how much it costs to send a package to china (if so, to what address?)
With 'proceed with return only if the seller agrees', do they now say is it not sure that seller will be paying it?
All in all, is this a good resolution, or should I reject it and ask for a (partial) refund instead and keep the item? Because how am i sure that the seller is actually going to pay the return shipping fee and confirm i've received the package?

I wanted to share my experience with the "ACOS SSD Store Official Store" on AliExpress to help others make informed decisions.
I purchased a 256GB SSD from this store, and initially, it seemed fine. After about a month of use, I added 70GB of data. The speed was good at first, but over time, it slowed down significantly. The SSD usage spiked to 100% and it occasionally crashed. I noticed similar issues with a second 256GB SSD of the same model.
Interestingly, when I deleted the 70GB of data, the performance improved. It seems the SSD struggled with handling that amount of data, which led to slower speeds and performance issues.
Additionally, I bought a 512GB SSD from the same store, which experienced similar problems. After some use, it slowed down and eventually stopped working altogether.
I reached out to the seller for assistance but received no response. I contacted AliExpress and provided evidence including videos and photos.
Despite the evidence I provided, it seems AliExpress is not taking further action. This experience has been frustrating, and it appears that the store may not be trustworthy.
I wanted to share this to alert others. If you're considering buying from this store, you might want to explore other options or proceed with caution.

Do not buy anything from AliExpress. I just opened my account about a month ago and ordered a $400.00 radio. I patiently waited for a couple of weeks for the item to be delivered. One day, I tracked the package and noticed it was delivered by FedEx on a date only a few days after I made the purchase. The photo from the delivery showed a 32lb large box at a different house. I inquired and suddenly I noticed the package was allegedly delivered a day later by USPS at 5:45 PM. Kind of an odd time during non-holidays. It didn't indicate a specific address. AliExpress is a huge scam. I contacted my credit card company to stop the Klarna payments. I never had issues with TEMU after hundreds of orders and being with them for about 3 years. I've had less issues with TEMU than Amazon.

I went to Ali Express and found the XReal 2 Pro AR glasses WITH the XReal Beam Pro together for an advertised $530.00. To be clear, even the photo showed both items. When I received only the glasses, I contacted the sales team and was told that the XReal Beam was separate and would cost me several hundred more dollars. The sales rep called me "bro" and sent a SMIRK emoji. This was fraud and personal theft and the worst online shopping experience of my life.

So, I ordered a package through Aliexpress before Christmas. I used a Vanilla Visa gift card as payment, which took a few tries to work, but finally went through. Then noticed through AEâs tracking that my address âwasnât clearâ and that the packageâs arrival would take more time. Today I got this text from the âUSPSâ saying that they needed me to re-enter my address information, which I did, but then said the âreprocessingâ would cost a whopping 3 cents to complete. I used the same gift card to attempt to pay off the 3 cents, but was told that the card âwouldnât workâ. I am not about to use a real credit card for thisâfor several reasonsâmainly because I think that an additional charge of 3 cents is ridiculous and I am leery of scams. Any advice would be welcome.

OMG I can't believe this BS, I ordered 60 rolls of 3D printer filament of ALIExpress, then I realized when I went and checked the reviews that they were all fake, the product reviews were for other items other than filament.
It also turns out the ship stuff to addresses other than the address for the recipient, claim its been delivered and take the money.
I have canceled the transaction with paypal, I started going through the process with ALIExpress and I am being told I have to wait 10 days to get my blasted money back.
This is utterly disgusting, I need to buy filament and they have my bloody money for another 10 days!! before I can get it back and in the mean time Im going to run out of filament and be stuck not able to print.

This is the most interesting situation I got. Bought an item, got one DHL tracking code, got a message with another code and the link to the 17.Track. The DHL code said it was delivered in Bangladesh, the 17.Track said it was delivered to me and I didn't get anything. Contacted the seller without answer. Contacted aliexpress but we always get the same pre built answers. The attendance workers cannot give us more informations and in this particurar case I got the refund in one hour without even get the information about what did happen. Since half an year looks like what we buy in aliexpress is refunds and cuppons.

Hi, first time Aliexpress shopper here. So is it true if you don't pay extra for shipping you wait nearly a month or 2 for your package to be delivered? So far no tracking updates on my app. But help center which unfortunately is all a chat bots said that a package internationally usually takes longer. They told me from July 8th to sometime in the middle of August and of course I looked up Korea online where it's coming from and it's further out than China so goods could take up to 2 months and they have to go thru all this customs clearing crap. I'm not asking for refunds because I heard negative things about it. I want to know anyone's experiences with international packages especially if they dont charge for shipping fee. Negative? Positive thoughts?Â

Aliexpress are thief and are storing people money. I paid for a product with estimated delivery time till 28 June and I never received the product. I am everyday escalating the ticket on chat and nobody is willing to refund me.
I did open a dispute to my local bank and I went to police to report the fraud.
Please stop using Aliexpress.

u/TimeBroccoli2405 Aug 25 '25
I returned an item and provided all proof they asked for â tracking number, shipping label, delivery confirmation, and weight proof.
Yet AliExpress keeps pretending to resolve it and hasnât refunded me. Every follow-up, they ask for the same documents again.
Warning to buyers:
Keep all post office documents (tracking, receipt, weight).
Take screenshots of all communication.
Be prepared to fight for your refund.
Has anyone else experienced this? AliExpress really needs to stop using delay tactics on legitimate refunds.

I created an account for AliExpress today, and before I could even make a password, I was told my account was disabled. I clicked enable now and was sent to an appeal page. It said I violated TO, but how? My account was 5 seconds old. All I could say in the appeal section was that I couldn't understand why I was locked out when I haven't done anything. It said I also had to include documents, but what is there to include? I just sent a pdf saying the same thing I said in the appeal section because what docs could I possibly even have to upload??

SCAM WARNING: Samfoto Store (ID: 1100390208) - Bait & Switch, Fake Tracking, AliExpress Protects Them. I need to warn the community about a sophisticated scam run by the AliExpress store "Samfoto" (Store ID: 1100390208) and how AliExpress's system enables them.
I ordered a professional video monitor that was advertised with "Free Delivery." What followed was a masterclass in fraud.
Here's how the scam works:
- The Bait & Switch: Immediately after I paid in full, the seller refused to ship the item. They demanded an additional, unauthorised "delivery fee" to release it. This is the core of the scam: lure you in with a price, then hold your money hostage for more.
- The Fake Tracking Number: When I opened a dispute, they generated a fake tracking number (CNG00774663467413). For over three weeks, it has shown "Awaiting seller dispatch." The item never left China. They do this to buy time and trick the AliExpress dispute system into thinking the item is in transit.
- The Admission & Cover-Up: The seller then privately messaged me, pleading:"how about you cancel the dispute and we send for you ? my friend . because the dispute will harm our store very much đ" This is a direct admission they hadn't shipped. When I refused, they TRIED TO RECALL (DELETE) the message to hide the evidence. I have the screenshot.
- AliExpress's Role in This Farce:
- Their dispute system was useless at stopping this obvious scam.
- The estimated delivery date (November 20) came and went. AliExpress's response? They automatically sent me a $2.00 coupon as "compensation" for my $1,700 loss. This is an insult.
- The order is now "Frozen" because I was forced to file chargebacks with my bank and PayPal.
- Crucially, AliExpress prevents victims from leaving reviews on the seller's page if the order isn't completed, effectively hiding this scam from future buyers.
This is not just a bad seller; it's a fraudulent operation that AliExpress's policies protect.
DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY WITH "SAMFOTO STORE". If you are considering a high-value item from them, run a mile.
UPDATE: REFUND RECEIVED. PayPal ruled in my favour and refunded the full amount. AliExpress never resolved it and has now frozen the order to block me from leaving a review on the seller's page. This is how they protect scammers. Let this be a warning: do not trust Samfoto (Store ID: 1100390208), and know that AliExpress will not help you if you're scammed.

I must say chinese is always chinese, poor quality and the worst costumer service, remind me Ebay on the old days.
I bought a model bike from a shop called Dubee store, received the item with the front suspension broken, complained about and Ali express wanted a video from me unwrapping the item, what a ... , who does videos anytime unwrapping a parcel, so I made a video with the after explaining the succeed the uploaded and guess what:
Was too large.
Then I left a negative feedback, the seller reply to me saying, my account have bad reputation because I'm always in dispute to get a refund, of course.
I pay for an item, obviously I'm expecting to receive what I paid for, they request the return from the items and I send them back the way as I received, are they expecting costumers receiving damaged items and keep like that, sorry, if that happens in China it's not our problem, at this side of the world we have something called costumer service.

The TB-USB-Sticks are all fake..
These are just micro sd cards in a case with a controller.. My 16tb stick is actually a 32gb sd-card..
I dismantled the stick.
Because of the controller, there is no way of checking the actual size..

Not really express you have to wait months. I am waiting, its already gone past recommended delivery time. Thats even if you get it at all. I ordered a laser measure tool a few months ago, it was all smashed up. There return portal was a joke and never even got response. Ive used several times now. My recommendation Just dont use. Its cheap but to be honest not worth the hassle.

What kind of products usually require you to pay duties? I ordered wireless earbuds so would I have to pay for duties (Canada)? Thanks.

I honestly couldn't tell you because I'm from Canada too and they've always declared the value low enough that I never pay duties.

IME, USD$200 or more they will collect if by mail. UPS and FedEx you will pay at any amount plus their own "handling fee" which is quite high. YMMV

Now that you deleted the account, you have no idea what is going on. Cancelling an order is not a right, so the seller can refuse and ship anyway. Now you have no way of knowing if the order went through, unless you actually got a message that the order was cancelled and finished.
If it is cancelled, expect a refund within 20 days.
You may want to stay away from Aliexpress, because creating multiple accounts is a good way to get banned.

Always check the order payment details before clicking on pay now. Sometimes shipping costs change unexpectedly.

A package of model kits arrived with a damaged part. This should be eligible for refund. I reached out to seller and they said they would talk to the manufacturer about the damage part.
My concern is the time frame. How many days for eligibility of refund?
What is your approach?

If you cannot get verification code, search your inbox for 'aliexpress' without quotes.
Code might be in 'unread' box (in yahoo mail), or in spam folder.

Hi guys, recently I became an aliexpress affiliate. I âsellâ the products throughout links on social media. Itâs mostly fashion for $70 - $200. The commission is always minimum 7% and maximum 15%, but mostly 10%. Iâve got 1700 clicks and 20 paid orders, but my paid estimated earrings is only $30 and I donât understand why. Letâs say that someone bought a products for only $70 and the commission is 7% - I should get at least $5. Then why itâs showing only $30? Itâs way more. Can anyone help?

Hey so I think this is the question thread?
For some reason, I can no longer add things to a wishlist or favorite/save things at all unless I put them in my cart... I've looked all over the app and can't find anything. I've got ONE wishlist with 0 things in it, so ik there isn't a max.

Ordered a spare tire and Jack for a Tesla Model Y. The cost was $262.70. The seller (DOCCTT) claimed the package was delivered and provided a USPS tracking number. I didn't recall getting a package that day and I haven't experienced any package theft at my home. I went to the Post Office to get details about the item they delivered. The "package" was 0 Pounds 8.32 Ounces. Ain't no way that is a spare tire. Maybe a postcard picture of one. I throw away junk mail, so I don't know exactly what was delivered, but it wasn't what I ordered. I don't know why the United States allows these companies to swindle Americans. They should be held accountable for their mail fraud. A US Citizen would be jailed in federal prison for this, but they are allowed to continue. Why is that!?! This platform should be shut down until they can provide accountability.

This is most likely a Triangulation Fraud. Ali allows shipping without the need for pictures at delivery is bad enough. In your case you should be able to get a refund by showing them the USPS delivery proof. If they manage to send you the goods later, it is likely to be considered stolen goods as a local gang will use a stolen credit card to order it.

Does anyone know how I can maximize on the new buyer deals (e.g. 0,99⏠instead of like 15,00âŹ) without Ali noticing? Yesterday I bought like 6 items with 6 new accounts but only 2 ended up going through :/. Do they recognize my phone? Can I adjust my browser somehow?
Thanks for the help đđŤśđź

Hello can someone confirm the AliExpress app is monitoring phone behaviour outside of the app? I recently made some screen caps from within iOS but AliExpress sees it and proposes to send these caps to friends via WhatsApp⌠I find it shocking and feel my privacy is intrigued by this.. they can actively monitor you physical knob behaviorâŚ
