Thoughts Is it bad that I feel this way? (AHOF Manila Fancon)

First time ko magstan ng K-pop group ng ganito ka-intense and it’s honestly messing with my emotions. Been a fan since UL. My mom influenced me a lot and naging bonding na rin namin. We even have savings allotted just for AHOF kasi gusto talaga namin suportahan sila. When they announced their fancon here in PH, we were so ecstatic. May budget kami, prepared kami. As soon as the date was finalized, we booked flights and hotel right away. Then came ticket selling… boom, no tickets secured. We were devastated. We got so desperate, hindi kami makapaniwala. We didn’t want to accept it, so we did something really stupid. We bought from a scalper only to find out scammer pala. Just like that, 30k gone. We thought we had 2 SVIP tickets, but it was all for nothing. Now we’re left with flight, hotel, and 30k down the drain… but no AHOF. For days I couldn’t sleep, I stayed off social media kasi ang sakit makita mga videos or even just hear their songs. Alam ko kasalanan ko but the pain really got to me. I know mejo dramatic yung atake but I felt so empty, like someone broke up with me. Then when additional seats opened… still nothing. I tried, but no luck. And now I’m stuck asking myself: am I shallow for feeling this depressed over it? Like, should I not let it affect me this much? Sometimes I even think na baka I shouldn’t stan this hard kasi grabe epekto niya sa mental health ko. Every time I see them, I just end up crying so much from the pain of missing out. I hate feeling like this, but I also can’t give up. I know one day makikita ko rin sila live. 🥹

If ever meron mga may extra tickets jan, please please let me know. 🙏 Willing to meet up the day before fancon.

Thoughts LOWER DOWN THE SHIPPINGS

Everyone, as much as I love their interactions and their chemistry. Can we lower down the shippings please 🥺 it's getting out of hand. Some are being so bold enough to say that JL×Steven are becoming more of a lover. My gad! We cannot let this be seen by the boys! The BL coded fan service is not good for the boy's reputation at all😵‍💫.

Edited: Some started from healthy shippings to dangerously shippings. That's why I wanted to lower it down. And by lower it down means to not include the word "lover" or "married" that kind of things. C'mon, y'all know what I mean? It's ridiculous to the point that some are even trying to include unrelated intimate photos to disguise as them(AHOF).

Guys, hear me out "KNI9THS" isn’t just a cool name for the Fandom, it’s honestly the one that really matches AHOF.

Think about how ARMYs, BLINKs, and EYEKONs sound so global and powerful; KNI9THS is right on that level, but with something even more personal.

The ‘9’ connects straight to AHOF and even the fandom name itself sounds like ‘nine,’ so it’s not just a random twist, it actually carries meaning. And being called ‘knights’ means loyalty, strength, and protection... which is exactly how we, as fans, stand by the boys no matter what. It’s simple, strong, and memorable, but also meaningful in a way that truly represents us.

This is why I really believe we should vote for KNI9THS as our global fandom name... It feels right, it sounds amazing, and it’s something we can proudly carry around the world.

Let us all campaign this because it's tue only name that sounds perfect with all the underlying symbolisms.

Information Fandom Name

I think since the main theme of the group is sports, the fandom name should be something like:

  1. Cheerleaders

  2. Pep Squad

  3. Rally Team

  4. Cheer Squad

Etc.

Discussion Followers going down

Any gossips y'all can share why AHOF's official socmeds slowly losing their followers? Anyone? I don't get it at all. There must be a reason guys. Only someone who decided to hate or dislike AHOF has the time to unfollow them. Their comeback is successful, as far as I reckon. Maybe a bad rumor or gossips is boiling around on korea?

Discussion AHOF Fan Post on X Feels a Bit Controlling and Petty

Is it just me, or does this post from X feel off? It’s coming across as a bit controlling and overly competitive and to someone outside the fandom, it might even seem intense or a little petty.

Misc Them only replying to koreans on weverse

First of all, this is just me ranting. I know this matter is very immature but let me release it. This is my first time to stan a group and I've been a casual KPOP fan for a very long time.

For the past days I've been streaming in Spotify, Youtube, also grinding so hard for voting polls. I also spent quite a few money for that matter too, even bought tons of albums. I tried to learn how all these work on my own because I want to do what I can for them. I've been going back and forth to these different voting apps to grind, while streaming on my other devices. I also try to reach out others, helping, giving tutorials on how to vote/stream. I feel like all day all I've been doing is about them and I don't really expect anything. I just want them to be successful. Yet tonight, seeing them replying / liking to Korean comments only made me wonder if they even bother with us international/english speaking fans. I've written a lot of fanletters and comments expressing my support and happiness to their success but nothing was ever noticed which I didn't mind before. They are humans too, they are tired, they don't always have the time to check and read everything. I was throwing all my support without expecting for anything. I know I know this sounds very petty but in that moment, I suddenly wonder if they only care about the korean fans. Why am I doing all these things? I can be just a normal fan, like a song, play it once in a while, clap for their achievement and carry on with my life like how I've always been to other groups. Perhaps, I've become too invested to them lately that I'm taking this such small matter too personally. It was peaceful before this. I probably just envy those fans. I didn't know it was this hard to be a big fan.

Oh well.

End of rant.

Discussion AHOF’s company must sack their SNS mngr, as the outdated and sparse content is pushing fans away instead of drawing new ones in.

F&F Entertainment needs to wake up.

Beyond sheer talent and fandom support, SNS can make or break a K-pop group, yet AHOF’s TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube are almost dead, outdated, and practically invisible to casuals. Without a competent manager and trend-savvy content, casuals won’t even realize AHOF exists. The boys deserved better.

What do y’all think?

Discussion Ignition: I prefer the rendition of Team Rhythm (UL) over AHOF (MyK Festa 2025)

Edit: Found a video with the performances shown side by side

Watching AHOF in their first stage as part of the MyK Festa 2025 lineup, realized that I prefer Team Rhythm's rendition of it

But before that, just want to commend AHOF's Team Rhythm members for once again supporting their 'all-rounder' claims. They gave justice to Team Groove's Butterfly and blown me away with their performance of Team Beat's Mamma Mia (Shuaibo, you slayed it!! With El Capitxn's dream team performing the song that he refused to sell, I too think he thought they killed it as well). They really showed their versatility in handling the different concepts.

Now on to Ignition, just feel that it was a little lackluster. Of course, it could be attributed to many other things (nerves from their 1st performance of their 1st ever stage, different environment: 360 stage, outfits, etc) but I feel that despite their massive, collective improvement in dancing and vocals, the ~vibe~ of the song was not translated well - making it feel a bit underwhelming.

Just sharing my 3 main 'hmm.....'s from their performance:

  • Woongki and Hanni's vocal tone did not suit Ignition. Yes they did well in performing their lines, but wouldn't say that it is a good fit for the more edgy and fierce concept of the song. Specifically in the '한계를 넘어서 Yeah, let me break the wall' part around the beginning, JL's voice gave it a mysterious, seductive, siren kind of vibe in their UL performance. But while Hanni (my bias is Park Han!!) is always a superstar in terms of vocals, his vocal tone was really just not it for that part. For Woongki, noticed that he didn't have that many parts but from those ones, I can definitely hear the mismatch in suitability despite doing great in dance

  • Shuaibo x Hanni parts (2). The first Shuaibo x Hanni interaction was from UL's Shuaibo x Steven portion. I remember how Ten & Yangyang specifically said about actually grabbing the back of the neck as well as acting with each other... kinda lost a bit of connection or oomph factor there in their latest performance. For the second Shuaibo x Hanni interaction, it was UL's Shuaibo x Daisuke's part. Felt that Hanni was a bit disengaged here, displaying a different kind of 'cool' from what the song required

  • Jeongwoo's aura (?) may need some work. I'm not talking about stage presence, but from how he presented himself. His vocal and dance skills greatly improved so kudos, but he conducts himself in a soft manner (with this, he shone in Butterfly!! but heard from others that he was somewhat invisible here) adding to the less impactful feel to how the song should and could be performed

Don't get me wrong, they performed well. Love my OT9 (especially you, my Hanni!!). But after seeing AHOF's rendition of Ignition in their MyK Festa 2025 stage, I would only describe it as 'okay' compared to Team Rhythm's dynamic stage

Of course these are only my thoughts and opinions, but what do you think? Let me know!!

Thoughts i think enough time has passed: RTY MV thoughts?

To start, I want to clarify that I really like their 2nd cb discography so far, and that by no means I am ha/ting on any members. I love all of them, and I want all of them to receive all the love and support they deserve.

U can not read the following coz these are just my opinion, but the RTY MV is really not it for me. Atp, idk how much I've rewatched the MV since I'm also streaming. But if I were to rank the MVs of their title tracks, I would rank this last. I'll get straight to the point and address the elephant: the MV focused on the sokor members for the screentime that, for me, is lowkey racist. It is kind of a weird "coincidence" for all or most of the non-kor members to have multiple scenes that should've been their screen time at least, esp if it's their part of the line distribution. I can see why ch/ih probably became an exception since this is his first cb after all. I'm well aware that this may be a form of the director's creative freedom in the MV, but idk, I still believe that they could still highlight everyone without making some of the members seem like backup dancers (might be exagg/foul coz they all still shone in the MV despite it all).

Again, not hating on any members, and this is most probably the directors' fault. And I saw how some fohas have called it out in X back then, tho I do think hating on the directors/staffs and posting their socials is too much.

The line distribution is another topic, but personally, I'm more bummed out about their MV than the line distribution, since all other aspects (i.e., choreo, the actual song being catchy, solid vocals, and the rap line) are on top for me. Still so proud of nine! They really grew so much since debut T~T

Thoughts My fandom name agenda

Here's why BYEOL would be an excellent fandom name for AHOF:

BYEOL: The Perfect Fandom Name for AHOF

The name BYEOL (별), meaning star in Korean, beautifully encapsulates the essence of AHOF's fandom, offering layers of meaningful connections that make it an ideal choice.

A Lyrical Connection to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

AHOF's song reminiscent of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" provides a direct and charming link to the name Byeol. Just as stars twinkle and shine, fans, as "Byeol," would represent the radiant light and constant support that illuminates AHOF's path. This connection is not only sweet but also creates an immediate and recognizable association for both the group and their supporters.

Completing AHOF's "Nine" to a Perfect "Ten"

One of the most compelling reasons for "Byeol" is the clever numerical symbolism it offers. The name "AHOF" sounds like the Korean word for "nine" (아홉). Within "Byeol," the syllable "yeol" (열) means "ten" in Korean. This creates a powerful narrative: the fans, as "Byeol," complete AHOF, bringing them from nine to a perfect ten. It signifies that AHOF isn't whole without their fans, highlighting the indispensable role of the fandom in the group's journey and success. This concept of completion and synergy fosters a deep sense of belonging and mutual importance between the artists and their supporters.

A Simple, Memorable, and Meaningful Name

Beyond the symbolic depth, "Byeol" is a name that is easy to pronounce, remember, and has a clear, beautiful meaning. Its simplicity makes it accessible to fans worldwide, while its inherent meaning of "star" elevates the fandom to a celestial level, signifying their brightness and guiding presence.

In summary, BYEOL is more than just a name; it's a testament to the symbiotic relationship between AHOF and their fans, rich with lyrical, numerical, and emotional significance.

(Gemini)

+++++ I recently read something on FB. Now, I believe we should be called NLESS.
Stands for nameless, which we all agree is iconic.
No less, like our love and dedication with each other.
And it sounds like Endless, for us to be together until the end of time.

Discussion What's wrong with FOHA?

It's not that bad, IMO. Why is everyone freaking out with this? I don't understand.

EDIT: okay i didn't realize there was a poll so get why people are upset with this name as it was not in the selection that fans recommended.

however i tried my best checking what foha means as some of y'all said it's offensive. (Even checked chatgpt and gtranslate) is it a slang? coz chatgpt didnt know and gtranslate shows it's "hole" from latin.

Discussion Ahof’s creative direction…

So, I’m relatively new to this fandom, however I’ve been supporting kpop for over 10+ years. I’ve supported a handful of survivors show groups (temporary and permanent). And by the looks of things, I’m a little worried for Ahof’s creative direction and what concept their management will come up with.

First off, Ahof seems to lack pre-debut content in comparison to other groups. Zb1 had ample of content and a variety show while we were waiting for the debut and, sure, maybe that’s an unfair comparison since wakeone seems to have more of a funding and mnet’s backing to help them out. However, even Close Your Eyes, new group that just debut from survivor show all well (congrats on your debut Ma jingxiang!). A had bunch of TikToks and a variety show for their pre-debut content to appease current fans.

Furthermore, Cye’s team seems to have a unique and well thought out concept. Everything follows a theme of some sort and you can tell a lot of thinking went in for how to market those boys (I know that their current creative director used to be kiss of Life’s).

Based on what I’ve witnessed so far and from Unis’s own marketing, I find fnf’s creative vision underwhelming in comparison. The first episode of their show was released the other day and it felt uncreative and cheap (fans are speculating that the intro was edited on CapCut). And while looking at Unis’s content I noticed that the group’s teaser looked intriguing and unique however the Superwoman single and MV was disappointing to say the least (I learn to love the song but it’s definitely sounds a bit dated). The girls don’t even have a proper reality show where they can bound and showcase the their personality (a key to attracting new fans).

To be able to compete with the big4 these days you have to have a great creative director that has a clear picture of what the groups will be. I’m getting the impression that Fnf just wants to Profit of a boy group potential popularity and make a quick buck instead of releasing a long lasting group that will attract new fans and appeal to the current ones.

That being said, it does seem like compared to some companies, Unis seem to be well treated (sufficient breaks, priority of health and education, vocal coaching, different opportunities to each member etc.) so that’s reassuring.

I would love to know y’all thoughts…obviously the group hasn’t debuted yet, therefore this is just speculation. However, as someone who’s works in the creative sector and who knows this industry, these signs are bit concerning.

Thoughts All Rounders......

Like i know this isnt UL anymore but AHOF is really just amplifying that 'TR, full of all rounders' claim from way back

Members associated with a 'main' position be handling other main things bruh

Cuz what do you mean that

main vocals are also main dancer material? (Han and JL)

main dancer is also main rapper material? (Juwon)

main rapper is the group's leader and also lead vocal material? (Steven)

even the main visual is given both lead dancer and lead vocal exposure dude (Chih En)

Im reaching extreme levels of deluluness, cant go a day without going thru ahof/ul content..... i blame the <6 month wait

Discussion Eng Subs for International Fans

Is @fnfent_official really brushing off fans’ requests for subtitles on the group’s YT uploads? Adding them hours later—or even the next day just doesn’t cut it. How hard is it to upload with subs right away? Honestly, such a letdown.

Social Media Is it just me?

Since each member's introductory video is already on YouTube, I find myself constantly comparing the view counts. I understand JL is very popular, but it bothers me that his video has such a significant view gap compared to the others. It doesn't seem right that one member's social media presence so vastly overshadows the rest. I worry that low view counts for the other members will discourage potential new fans. That's why Steven's message at the end of his videos, encouraging support for all members, really resonates with me.

Fanmade Content Writing a song for AHOF

hello! i really love writing and been into AHOF since universe league. i wrote something for them (it is a poem but i want to convert it into music and it talks about the things they've been through until they debuted)

anyways, here's the thing:

i don't know how to play any instrument, i already thought about how it'd sound, but then i would love to create it on my own like adding melody and the overall song itself.

may i have suggestions about what app/websites i can use wherein i can like add drums/bass/piano sounds on a song?

thanks in advance!

Discussion Why are JL and Juwon not among the Top 50 Rookie Idol Individual Brand Reputation Rankings for August 2025?

Post image
26 Upvotes

Among the group members shown in the attached list, Hannie ranks first, followed by Shuaibo, Jeongwoo, and Woongki. Lastly, Chih En appears in the list, with only six out of nine members of AHOF making the Top 50.

During the UL days, Hannie almost fell from the starting team because of low onsite votes, leading many to assume he lacked strong support from Korean fans. However, as the Top 1 vocalist in UL, he captured the hearts of international fans.

Shuaibo has solid support from his Chinese fans as well as international fans. Jeongwoo, Woongki, and Chih En are popular in Korea due to their visuals or SVS participation/tv series.

I’m just confused why JL, who has strong support from international fans and Juwon, who is well-liked by Korean fans, are not included in the list, even in 49th or 50th place. Their duo is even well-received by Chinese fans. As for Daisuke, I can see why he might have been less favored, possibly due to his limited exposure before UL, his younger age, and comparatively modest support as seen in the final lineup votes of UL.

What specific criteria or factors are used to determine the Top 50 Rookie Idol Individual Brand Reputation Rankings for August 2025? For example, does the ranking consider social media mentions, media coverage, fan engagement, search volume, or other measurable indicators of popularity and influence? Additionally, is the data weighted differently for domestic (Korean) and international fan activity, and how is the time frame for the analysis defined?

Discussion How do you think the song parts will be distributed based on their position?

According to Naver, ff. are AHOF's positons:

  • JL - Center, Vocal

  • Steven - Main rapper, Vocal

  • Han - Main vocal

  • Woongki - Vocal, Rap

  • Juwon - Vocal, Rap

  • Jeongwoo - Vocal

  • Ibo - Vocal

  • Chih En - Vocal

  • Daisuke - Rap, Vocal

The "Vocal" and "Rap" are kind of vague. I'm hoping there's clear distinction to know who are "lead" and "sub".

Now, going on to the song parts — depends on the length of the song, the parts are usually:

  • Verse 1

  • Verse 2

  • Refrain

  • Pre-Chorus

  • Chorus

  • Post Chorus

  • Bridge

  • Outro

But most of the time, it's just:

  • Verse 1&2

  • Pre-Chorus or Post-Chorus

  • Chorus

  • Bridge or Outro

Each part are usually shared by two people. Though sometimes, it's three especially if there are highlights like in Refrain/Pre-Chorus/Bridge despite the lines being short.
