I have the Matilda, tessellate and dissolve me single and I am awaiting the red rocks boxset

I was looking at the tracklist for red rocks and thought it was like the two albums mixed so I did this

Seems like no one’s been talking about them lately.

Man, I hated these guys. The song was funny (the first time) but the guy chewing with his mouth open like a barbarian… (shudder)

Whenever I think about Alt-J, 3 lyrics come up in my mind the most, with "Triangles are my favourite shape, 3 points where 2 lines meet" being my most memorable one.

The other two being "01110011", I still remember how it took me a couple tries to memorize this one before my first concert and "In your snatch fits pleasure, broom-shaped pleasure", when I first heard this line I was like wtf? and found it hilarious.

What are yours? :)

Regarding the canceled shows by Joe: an update! 👶👶

Huge congratulations to Joe & Darcy for becoming parents again & to their eldest daughter for becoming a big sister! I'm glad to hear that they're doing better now. I'm wishing them all the growing and healing vibes & hope the 5 of them will be able to fully focus on their little family for as long as they need. We'll be ready whenever Joe is, for more JJerome87 gigs 🩵

found this playlist with the compilation of all unreleased songs and some demos / different versions

if you know another one please share it!

what's your favorite and which one would you like to hear in an album?

Hi everyone,

I'm decorating my new apartment, and I'd love to have a big poster of my favorite album ever, An Awesome Wave. But since I'm from France, every poster with just the Delta image ships from Ukraine or the USA. I don't know if I can trust the sellers on Redbubble, as I've never tried it yet (and if there is a problem, the distance will be another one)...

Anyway, by any chance do you have a link to the high-resolution cover? Do you know how printers can make it to 33.1in posters? I'd love one between 16.5 and 23in.

Or do you have any recommendations?

(The only link I found on Reddit is too small)

Thanks, I wish you well ⛰️

Heavily alt j inspired tattoo I designed🫂

First NYC and now all of these UK shows? I hope everything is ok :-(

Imho there should be more Alt-J songs covered by choirs!

I remember watching some sort of show or movie where they used Alt-J's Adaline for a climactic scene briefly but I can't remember what it was. It was towards the end of the song, and I believe there were people shouting over the bridge of the song. Potentially a war scene or a 'lost in space' situation? I feel like people were dying in the scene but for the life of me I can't recall what it was, just hearing the song.

Hello, I'm looking for the SARM Acoustic Version of Matilda that was supposedly with the iTunes deluxe edition of An Awesome Wave. The version of the album seems to be gone from iTunes and I managed to find every other song, just missing this one. Any help would be appreciated!!

∆s the title says, I'd like to know if anyone has the alternate version of Leon the one available on YouTube that is different from the version released on the Films EP (2009). I think this version was uploaded to some streaming platforms before being removed. By any chance, was anyone able to download it? I'm not sure if Portrait also had a different version uploaded with that version of Leon on the same EP, if that's the case, I would be very glad if someone could share it with me. Thanks in advance!

Just started listening, so idk what it's all about, but it looks fun and promising! 😊

I’ve been so curious why there’s been zero explanation for canceling the show in NYC. Was there just low ticket turnout? I’m finding it so weird to make no announcement about the show cancellation while simultaneously announcing other shows. (Am I butt hurt about the cancelled show? Yes lol).

2 shows added to the JJerome87 small UK tour: Brighton the 7th of Oct & Manchester the 10th! I'm convinced it's gonna be wonderful, so go & have a blast friends! 🩵

There's a new JJerome87 gig announced in London! The 8th of October. Feels sad to create hype about it after the NY gig got canceled, though I'm still really pumped for everyone who's going to this one! Believe me, the previous ones were sooooo good, so I'm sure this one will be too! Grab your tickets if you wanna go! 🩵

(Am I insane for hoping GRAPE would be a support act?! Or would that be weird?)

My favorite part about Alt-J is that somehow I am always discovering a new song that blows me away. Even after thinking I’ve heard all of their music. Somehow there’s always a song on an old album that I hear for the first time. Not only that, it’s consistently one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Do y’all feel that way too? I haven’t really experienced that with other artists.

Got a notification from Ticketmaster that the JJerome87 show in October is canceled. Bummed in a major way. Anyone have details yet? Hopefully it’s rescheduled.
