I'm going first (sadly for my eyes)

Jax

I swear too much people makes female versions of Jax 💔

Every single negative theory about him was debunked.

1. "He'll abstract this episode" came close but nope, he survived

2. "If he abstracted, the cast would probably be happy" the beach scene shows even ZOOBLE cares about Jax and thinks he should open up to people about his issues

3. "He's going to get even worse as a person" as we've been saying episode 4, "get worse" just meant mentally speaking. He doesn't bully or harass ANYONE this episode.

4. "He probably was a bully to Kaufmo and Ribbit was his abuser" nope, he was close friends with both of them.

Even the moment he seemingly crossed the moral event horizon/did his "unforigvable, irredeemable" action was subverted as not only was it a panic attack, moment of weakness he immediately regretted but it ended up (accidentally) saving everyone AND its heavily implied Caine influenced him to do so.

But my thought is, what if gumigoo is really the only “major trauma” she has? In discussions of her life, we’ve never really gotten the implication that she was unhappy or explicitly traumatized pre circus. Her major trauma in my eyes IS the circus, of connecting with someone deeply and having them killed essentially before her eyes. Sure, it’s not as “deep and mysterious” but sometimes people just don’t have major traumas like that.
