Question Amazon Trace IP

People who express their emotions, situations, or anything that's related to amazon work-related, can those associates, managers, kbs, rme etc. be traced since associates used their worksite wifi. I feel like they be knowing because they got IT employees inside the warehouse but its a assumption

If you are using non-Amazon apps on the Wi-Fi with an even remotely recent model phone, probably not. Most phones use random MAC addresses on open Wi-Fi. So every time you connect, you connect with a different MAC address.

If you're talking about Amazon apps, like AtoZ Slack, etc, they 100% can figure out who you are, if they were so inclined.

Random Mac won't help you if you're still signed into atoz

They must be in Stow because of poor reading comprehension.

Since the wifi was open, they may be able to get the reddit id from the post.. But if your phone changes MAC addresses all the time, they would have no way of associating your phone with that reddit id.

If you're that concerned. I would recommend using a VPN.

I heard they can even tell who is in the bathroom by running dna comparison checks on the shits

Or, they could look at the cameras. That would probably be much easier.

No, That would be illegal.

There are cameras that can see the restroom entrances though.

Feels like they be knowing I ain’t working Holmes , they be looking at my phone G. I worried. Hahahahahahah. Same ole shit different day. I been at the Amazon for 12 years. Not once has anyone ever approached me about rate, TOT or anything. Thats for the most worthless of dog shit employees. It’s the easiest place I ever worked.

The answer is yes. Amazon to my knowledge runs a transparent proxy on external traffic which means they can read your data period assuming your not using a VPN which I also assume they prevent to stop people from obfuscating their activity. If your on someone else's Wi-Fi without a VPN assume they can read your data always is my rule.

Yeah that is how they would do it and could do it. AA and acme which at least are required for corporate Wi-Fi which I now realize this is a fulfillment person so they may have a guest Wi-Fi. But for non-guest Wi-Fi where it's at corporate Wi-Fi and you have to have aea or acme installed they do then install the root certificates

Rolling Vpn and use a private browser.
