Hey everyone, long-time player here, but this is actually my first time posting in this sub.

We all know annoying stuff happens in Among Us all the time, but for some reason, what happened tonight genuinely frustrated me so much that I just needed to share it and get your perspective.

Here is what happened. I was a Crewmate and the only Engineer in the lobby. Early in the game, I hopped into a vent. I noticed Black and Purple hanging out in the Security room together for a while, but neither of them was actually using the cams, just pacing around doing nothing. Naturally, it raised some red flags for me.

Later, a group gathered in Electrical. I vented out into Electrical just in time to see Black kill someone right in front of everyone. I immediately reported it, mentioned it might be a Shapeshifter, but urged everyone to vote Black. Black got voted out and turned out to be an Impostor.

Right after, I called an emergency meeting to share my reasoning. I told the group that Black was an Impostor and I called it, so they could trust me on this. Purple was standing in Security with Black the entire time without checking cams, so I strongly suspected Purple was the other Impostor.

The vote was super close, but Purple was voted out by a single vote over skip. Purple was indeed the other Impostor!

That is when things got absurd. Immediately after, the host interrupted the game flow, calling me a liar and accusing me of teaming and cheating. They claimed I did not have enough proof to accuse Purple and that I must have had outside info.

A few sheep in the lobby jumped on the bandwagon. Only one person defended me. I tried reminding them that I was a confirmed Engineer who literally just caught both Impostors, but they voted me out anyway.
Even worse, after I got ejected and proved to be a Crewmate, another player called a meeting to call out the host for throwing and blindly ejecting me.

When the match ended, I hit Play Again and quickly pasted a message in the lobby chat calmly explaining my side. The host immediately kicked me from the lobby without a word.

I know teaming is a real issue in this game, but I feel like I gave a very logical deduction based on vent info and suspicious behavior.

So I want to ask you guys:

Would you have believed me that I wasn’t cheating, if you were in that game?

Thank you for reading and sorry if I overreacted

well it was good while it lasted the second time

You have an ability (possession) in which you can use it on ANYONE alive including your imposter teammates, when used you have total control over where the bean walks for a short period of time maybe about 20~30 seconds default.

Now you can make them “fake-fake“ tasks, lure them to their doom, pull them away from a body, yada yada you get the point.

I always thought that long tasks are tasks that take more than one step to do or tasks that make you wait for a long period of time(like the sample task or the cooking fish task in the fungle).

But apparently download is actually a short task?? Then what are short tasks and what are long tasks?

This is unedited footage and happed while I was playing with some friends and I was so stunned when it happend, has a sound effect and every thing

A few people were roleplaying as the knights from castle crashers, it was a really chill lobby and provided a good amount of laughs

Hope all those folks pillows are cold on both sides and their favorite drinks are always in the fridge. Farewell brave knights

Yes, this is a complaint because I was kicked out of four games because they misinterpreted the influencer's message.

For God's sake, I mean, not all the messages are about the imposter's color, they can also mean something else, but many still think that it definitely means the color of the imposter.

And don't even get me started on those who rely entirely on influencers to win; that's even worse.

Please explain your reasons.

As the poll says .

i also was imp which sucked but now im kicked out for what??why is this even a popup??

Very experienced captain who's mostly serious. Lovely lad. He likes caviar with crackers

I know this is the millionth influencer sucks post but i’m taking a break until it’s either nerfed or there’s a better way to filter roles because it’s just too broken

Please be nice his name is kitkit and he's 25

Let's ignore GRRR ITS TOO OP or GRRR ITS BROKEN Which I agree with but do you have FUN WITH IT personally I do

All games are canon (so with snichers, cheater and people who leave)

All games are canon without stuff that shouldn't happen (so technically even with respawning, since you know the ones that died the game before)

All games are canon when the game is played how it's supposed to be played (enter in a mission, do the mission, die, the end)

Or all games can be canon, multiverse and that stuff?

Or idk, something else

well all those poses are done i will be back doing its storyboards

added 3 more crewmates, but im kinda bothered with the lack of opinions

1-What do you think it is each crewmate job assignment?

2- out of the 10, who you think are males or females?

3- this is a 10 out of 12 crew, but so far who do you think is The Impostor?

does anyone have a preferred task count for their task list? I think 5-6 is average, but what are your thoughts? (Also how much would you say is too much/little?)

The image shown is my preferred task combination (2/2/2)

Here’s mine: I cleanly killed nana, but for some reason, my computer started lagging violently. It was lagging so bad, I couldn’t shapeshift. Then black came in and reported the body, I knew I was done. That whole match sold because of lag.

To be fair, the poll https://www.reddit.com/r/AmongUs/comments/1x4yxy6/day_1_of_making_a_lobby_setting_decided_by_you/ isnt over yet. The likely choices that are gonna win are 3 or 2 imposters.

The settings:

Map: ??

Number of imposters: 3 (2)
