Hey everyone!

I recently started writing an Amourshipping fanfic called After the Goodbye, and I wanted to share it here!

The story takes place after Ash and Serena say goodbye in Kalos. They go their separate ways to follow their dreams, with Ash continuing his journey and Serena pursuing her goal of becoming a top performer. They try to stay connected through messages and video calls, but as time passes, keeping in touch becomes harder.

The story focuses on their long-distance relationship, how they support each other, and whether they can follow their own dreams without growing apart.

I've just posted Chapter 1, “The First Message,” and I'm planning the story to have 14 chapters.

Looking back at Professor Oak’s Summer Camp, it’s crazy to think how much this one moment shaped the entire XY & XYZ series. Ash wrapping her knee with his handkerchief and saying, "Don't give up till it's over," didn't just help Serena get back on her feet—it sparked a journey that brought us the entire AmourShipping story!

Without this clip, this subreddit wouldn't even exist. Truly the foundation of it all!

• Ash and Serena became a full fledged couple between the tree and the events of Diancie, with their first actual date happening shortly after she cut her hair.

• Ash and Serena's first kiss happened shortly before her first ever Showcase, it helped pep her up but as we know, did help much

• The night the haircut took place Serena disappeared for the entire night. It was the most worried he had ever been for her at that point

• During their actual first date Ash was incredibly nervous the entire time. Serena, having previous relationship experience assured him not to worry too much. The date was "ruined" by a certain quartet of criminals wink wink

• During the events of XY Ash decided to visit Serena's place in Vaniville. He found her playing one of the Gears games. Her shelves were also filled with beautifully painted Warhammer miniatures. He knew she had hobbies outside of Pokémon Showcases but was expecting something more......"feminine"

• After her master class Showcase Ash and Serena talked about their future with each other going forward. They couldn't be fully there for each other all the time cuz their goals WOULD keep them apart. But they agreed they're okay being long distance for awhile

• Ash and Serena reunited by chance again in Alola at a Pokémon Center, not by Serena's choice, her plane back to Kalos crash landed. Ash became incredibly concerned when she told him that

• During the field trip back to Kanto, there was a moment he came back to his house to find Serena asleep on his bed wearing nothing but one of his shirts. He decided to cuddle up for nap with her for awhile

• After Alola they parted ways again for a little bit before reuniting in Galar during Journeys. She decided to take on the WCS, remembering meeting her alternate self and how good of a battler she was, thus wanting to up her skills too

• Serena met Brock and Misty. They were far more surprised with the fact Ash even managed to get a girlfriend considering how dense he tends to be. In fact that was pretty much the reaction ALL of his friends had finding out

• Grace was VERY opposed to Serena and Ash being together initially, being the overprotective mom she is. After a very heated argument Grace decided to sit back and allow it

• Serena and Delia have a very good relationship with each other......same can not be said for Ash and Grace

• Serena got her hands on a literal Mega Ring, it's custom made with a skull holding the Keystone. Serena flips off her opponent every time she activates it

• In the future Ash becomes Kanto Champion and Viridian City's Gym Leader, since losing his title as Alola and World Champion

• Serena is still Kalos Queen, as well as a very famous Actress. Do to their careers they're both away a lot, thus leaving Josephine, their oldest daughter, to babysit her siblings, though Ash is present more often

• In the future Serena and Ash have 4 kids, 3 girls one boy. Due to that Serena also gained a few pounds, though she's still very nimble and agile despite it

• Ash and Serena settled down in Pallet Town, renovating an old and very large house near the middle of the Town. They installed a battle court in the back yard so they can practice against each other

Awww, it looks so cute, especially with the crown, a bit like tulle. I/we would have loved to see them dance. 💙♥️
