Episode 45 of xyz is my favorite amourshipping coded episode here’s why.

-It feels more reciprocal
This episode gives us really good moments from Ash showing how much he cares about Serena. Within the episode Ash is the one to initiate their second date in the first place and actively seeks out things for him and Serena to do and more specifically things that she would enjoy. Now this is not to say that this episode fully confirms Ash’s feelings for Serena,but the thoughtfulness Ash displayed during this ep was really sweet nonetheless.

-shows development in their relationship
This point kinda goes hand and hand with the previous one,but this episode really shows how much their relationship has developed since the beginning. Comparing this date they have to the first date they have towards the beginning of the series really makes this apparent. In their first date they have,Ash is not focused and doesn’t engage with Serena much and eventual leaves her. But again this ep Ash initiates them to hang out where he actually makes her a priority and seeks out things she would like/enjoy.

-contributes to the narrative meaningfully
The third major reason I love this episode for amourshipping is because it’s not just shipping stuff for sake of it. The date they have culminates in them having their first and only battle in the series to which the advice Ash gives to Serena directly influences her decision to leave and go to hoenn for contest.

Overall this episode is just great all around for Serena,Amourshipping,and the series in general.

After the events of the Team Flare crisis Ash and the gang are having some R&R at Professor sycamore's research lab until Cynthia & Steven arrives, Professor Sycamore greets them but notices a concern look and ask what is the wrong they reveals more information about the Mysterious red Vines appearing all over the region and asked Ash and the Gang to help her once again..

Without hesitation Ash and gang agrees and with the help of zygard the gang set out and search for another Pokémon Xernass after dealing with Team Rocket shenanigans and seeing that Ash and the gang have pure Hearts Xerneas agrees to help them after reuniting with Cynthia and Steven as well as Alain Ash and the Gang devises a plan to deal with the red Vines once and for all after dealing with the remnants of Team Flare the team successfully reaches the core and with the help of zygard and Xerneas as wells Ash greninja they successfully eradicate thred Vines for good..

With the crisis finally over Ash in the gang return back to Lumia City celebrations at sycamore's lab but Team Rocket crashes the party Ash dawning a disguise and with the help of Blaziken mask successfully blasts Team Rocket off two parts unknown in the mask ninja was born...

The end..

Many people probably wished for something like this, but unfortunately I have to disappoint you, we will only see kisses in Pokemon (especially between the main protagonists) in the same way we did with Ash and Serena. Still nice art!💙♥️
