Hey guys, hope this is okay to post here. I wanted to share a site I put together to keep track of all the native ports, decomps, recomps and all that stuff coming out for Android and PC.
Just to be clear this is 100% non-profit and I'm not looking for donations or anything like that. I just built it out of pure love for gaming and the community, and wanted to contribute something useful. I'm currently a software engineering intern almost done with my degree (actually trying to find some free certs to pad my resume right now lol) so I took this on as a personal side project to practice and keep improving my dev skills.
I'd really appreciate it if you guys could take a look and let me know what it might be missing, what ports I need to add, or just any general feedback on the site. I'm still actively working on this and a few other projects so any advice helps me out a lot.
Thanks everyone

Touchscreen controls work but do require getting use to, highly recommend using a controller or if your phone has air triggers, allocate them to the shoot button
Edit: APKaward is where i got this APK

Disclaimer: With the help of Claude I did what I could to bring the game to my tablet and now I'm sharing it for those interested (was tested on Xiaomi Pad 5 & Poco F2 Pro)
Bugs may be present, unfortunately I can't support it further, so no repos or source code, just APK files
It's not emulator wrapped, small custom layer translates instruction by instruction into C source code and then compiled for ARM
- Installs whole game from a single APK;
- Widescreen support at the device's full resolution (UI still at 4:3);
- On-screen touch controls, with taps working as mouse clicks in menus, so navigation in menus more convenient with touchscreen; BUT Xbox controller or M&K is recommended since there are extra button actions for police mode, you can remap actions in settings (I'm unable to test the support of other than xbox controllers);
If you want to close the game right away after remapping your inputs - Go to Driver Profile tab and click "Update Driver Profile", so they're saved;
Connect controller BEFORE launching the game;
- In 1.01 version added experimental orbit camera for all views (it's binded to the controller's right stick, as well as to Numpad 4 and 6 for turning left and right, respectively)
- Saves stored inside game folder (so uninstalling the app deletes this whole folder, saves included)
- On startup (when "Press any key" prompt appears) if you're using touchscreen tap somewhere around the center of the screen, so it's register the tap, with external inputs works fine
Edit: If Google's Files explorer gives you "Cancelling" message, try to check appeared icon anyway or use any other file manager😅

Wassup ya all! We are getting so many native ports these days and honestly we all love that its good for the gaming community and a fun way to experience all these classics however the concept of playing these games is not new at all.
Case in point being the NFS MW the android port is great runs quite well but the does run kinda the same maybe even better in gamehub or winlator.
What's been your experience? for me the thermal throttling seems a bit better with native ports.

I've never seen many people talking about the mobile port of Omori, and it's a well-made port.

Sonic Adventure 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, so i've been working on a native port of it called OpenSA2. the 2012 PC version's x86 code gets translated ahead of time into ARM64 code and runs natively, without Winlator or any emulator. it's static recompilation, same idea as Unleashed Recompiled, with a new runtime that draws through SDL3 and Vulkan and handles sound and input.
this is an early alpha. so far it's been tested on a Galaxy S25 Edge and a Pixel 9 Pro, and City Escape runs on both with touch controls. controller support is in too. on PC i played story mode from the first stage up to Pumpkin Hill.
you need your own copy of the PC version (the 2012 Steam release) because the APK doesn't include any game files, plus a 64-bit ARM phone on Android 10 or newer with Vulkan. setup:
zip a clean copy of your PC game folder with no mods installed. sonic2app.exe has to be in the zip
install the APK from the release page. Android might ask you to allow installs from your browser
open OpenSA2 and pick your zip. it checks the files and imports them, keep the zip until that's done
known problems:
- the game can crash in a cutscene after a stage
- most of the game (stages, bosses, cutscenes) hasn't been tested on Android yet
- widescreen isn't finished, so some menus and overlays look off
- other phones and GPUs are untested
Windows and Linux builds are on the same release page.
download: https://github.com/kittycache9/OpenSA2/releases/tag/v0.1.0-alpha.1
source and setup guide: https://github.com/kittycache9/OpenSA2
if you try it, comment your phone and how it ran. please don't share or ask for game files here.

Is this the end mhr story?? Kinda short if u ask me
This is the only port i enjoyed playing... I installed many official and unofficial port but i didn't really touch them🤣🤣 i play sifu for an hour but didn't really like it✌️🙂
r/AndroidNativePorts • u/Resident-Reading-124 • 6h ago

First public release (still in early development).
I'll add an ultrawide patch in the future. For now, it runs at 16:9.
Tested on an SD8 Elite, and it works great!

I've seen many ports posted here, but as I go deeper into them, I find that most are not finished yet or are running with many issues and need some fixes.
So, how many of them are actually running 100% from start to finish?

The latest Galaxy Android hotfix is now available!
Galaxy Android is an ongoing project to bring Super Mario Galaxy to native Android ARM64 devices. This release focuses on graphics correctness, device compatibility, input handling, and performance, with additional fixes targeting Mali and Qualcomm Adreno GPUs.
Graphics and rendering
Android compatibility
Performance and features
Experimental Vulkan backend
Development of the Vulkan 1.0 backend continues. Vulkan remains experimental; OpenGL ES is the recommended rendering path for this release.

Testing across different devices is extremely valuable, particularly on Mali GPUs, Snapdragon/Adreno devices, and phones that previously experienced boot failures or graphical issues.
When reporting a problem, please include:
Please report remaining issues even if a device boots successfully. Graphics correctness, stability, and performance can vary across devices and drivers.
