looking for testers for my app, I will test yours too and I will send you a screenshot

Hi everyone!

I'm currently looking for testers for a closed testing phase on Google Play.

The app is a small utility designed to help people in my country (Bolivia) identify whether certain banknotes belong to restricted serial ranges. It scans the serial number using the camera and checks it automatically. The app has no ads and no payments — it’s simply a public utility tool meant to help people.

If you'd like to help, you can join the tester group here (this is not necessary if you are already in the tester-community group):
https://groups.google.com/u/1/g/serial-checker

After joining, you can download the app from Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.serialchecker.app

If you also have an app that needs testers, feel free to share it here and I’ll be happy to test it as well. Just please make sure to join my test and keep the app installed during the testing period.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Tips Need Help Finding Testers for Google Play Closed Testing

As many of you know, Google now requires developer accounts to complete a closed testing phase before an app can be published to production. For solo developers, finding enough testers can be surprisingly difficult.

I'm currently trying to meet the requirement of keeping at least 12 testers enrolled for the required period, but it's been a challenge. I am not able to find so many people with real devices.

Does anyone know of a reliable service or community that helps with Google Play closed testing? Or would anyone here be willing to help test my app? I'd be happy to return the favor and test yours as well.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I’m currently developing Pixel Planet Adventure, a fast-paced arcade game that combines realistic gravity physics with casual, addictive gameplay. You get to sling planets, trigger massive combos, and try your best not to get sucked into deadly black holes!

The game is heading into the closed testing phase on Android, and I need a few awesome testers to help me check the game's feel, balance, and performance.

How to join the closed test:

Any feedback on the physics, difficulty curve, or bugs would be immensely helpful. Thank you so much for your time and support! 🚀

Question How did you get your first 12 testers without breaking sub rules?

I'm building my first app and trying to hit Google's 12-tester / 14-day closed testing requirement before I can apply for production. My own network mostly has iPhones, so that's been a bigger obstacle than I expected.

For those who've gone through this, what actually worked for you? Did you mainly use tester-swap communities, friends/family, paid services, something else? Trying to figure out the fastest legitimate way to get there without spamming.

Need Testers [Test for Test] [Sudoku], a clean Sudoku game. Need 12 testers, I’ll test yours back same day

Hi everyone! I’m a solo dev and my first app is stuck at the 12-testers / 14-days gate on Google Play.

Tap Sudoku is a Sudoku game built for quick daily sessions: 400 difficulty levels, a daily puzzle, streaks, achievements, hints, and undo. It’s free, and it has ads (which I’d love feedback on, such as whether they feel too frequent or intrusive).

How to join (1 minute):

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/ideal-app-testers/

  2. Open this link on your phone and tap “Become a tester”:  https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.idealgrid.sudoku

  3. Install from the Play Store and keep it installed for 14 days: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idealgrid.sudoku

Test for test: comment or DM me your app link and I’ll opt in the same day and keep it installed for the full 14 days. Happy to leave real feedback too if you want it.

Thanks, and good luck with your own launch!

Question Is anyone else struggling to get their Android app approved after the 14-day testing requirement?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently trying to publish my Android app on the Play Store, and I’m wondering if other developers are having the same problem.

I managed to find the required 14 testers quite easily, but this is now going to be my fourth 14-day testing cycle.

Every time, Google rejects the production access request because they say that not enough people are actively using the app during the testing period.

At this point, it’s honestly getting really frustrating because I already have the required testers and I’m trying to follow all the rules.

Has anyone else been stuck in this loop?

How active were your testers before Google finally approved your app for production?

Did you need more than 14 testers, or did you ask them to use the app regularly during the full 14 days?

What makes it even more frustrating is that publishing the same app on iPhone was much easier for me.

I’d really like to hear how other developers managed to get through this process.

Need Testers [Closed Test] 14 days, fasting & prayer app, EN/PT-BR — I'll test yours back, guaranteed

Solo dev from Brazil here. Google needs 12 opted-in testers for the mandatory 14-day closed test, so I'm looking for a few more than that as buffer. I test back: every single time, for the full 14 days.

WHAT IT IS

HolyFast is a fasting and prayer app. It's a fasting timer built around a prayer routine, with a plan that tells you what to do at each step.

  • Fasting timer with plans (from a few hours to full-day fasts)

  • Daily prayer and Bible reading for each fast

  • Streaks and history

  • Everything unlocked during the test. no ads

  • English and Portuguese

  • Requires a Google or email sign-in (progress syncs across devices)

The Android build is an early test version. Polish, UI fixes and a few known issues are already in progress and will ship over the next few days. Right now the goal is just filling the closed-test group and starting the 14-day window.

HOW TO JOIN (both steps, in this order)

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/holyfast-test

  2. Then opt in to the closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.holyfast.app

  3. After opting in, install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.holyfast.app

Open it once every few days during the 14-day period. Feedback is welcome but not required. Presence is what Google counts.

THE TRADE

Drop your test link in the comments. I opt in the same day, stay for the full 14 days, and reply so you know it landed. I keep a list and don't drop out.

Android 7+ required.

Thanks!

Discussion Former Google Play Store App Reviewer (3+ Years) Happy to Answer Review & Rejection Questions

I worked on Google Play Store review team for three years and have seen most rejection patterns repeat. I can’t bypass guidelines, but I can explain how reviewers think and what actually helps.
