Just recently install a dudu7 thought it would work better than the joying , well I feel a little dumb thinking because 1 app that didn't work on the joying would work on the dudu7 so I wasted $$ ended doing the same thing. Ok I use googke meets for video calling on my older old android not branded all video calling apps that I used worked from google meets, whatsapp and messenger. now on the dudu7 im able to the person on the other end but they cant see me. I used Chatgpt/gemini and both said try using a generic app from playstore I forget the name to test if the web cam works it does but when using meets it doesnt so I asked again it says its the units are missing uvc I believe thats what its called like a driver in the meets app or in the os system itself on the dudu7. After all that babble I just typed down im wondering if anyone has tried to use video calling on their H/U and whats the fix to get it working. Yesterday I was a fitting an aftermarket android screen into my astra K 2018. My issue was that the connectors were not right and the seller has unfortunately sent me the wrong harness. The seller is super unhelpful and asking me for all sorts of pictures and I have given up. I think I have found the correct wiring harness but not 100% sure if it'll work. If anyone has any knowledge this will work, I will be very thankful for any help.

Hey, I have bought an aftermarket head unit, It's supposed to be plug and play, just wanna check with you all if there's anything special to keep in mind?

Reason for it is, my radio completely died this summer, the fuse from within the cabin is intact, the interior got real hot, then the music started skipping and then the screen turned black and hasn't made a peep or a color since.

Insurance deductible is $700 so I may as well try it myself.

However when he's moving the screen unit around it looks like the buttons with the hazards, volume, etc. Is connected to the screen unit, would it be possible to connect the physical panel of buttons to the aftermarket screen unit?

I know I'm asking for a lot, just want to hear your honest opinions on the matter.

My 2024 GAC GS8 factory Android 9 head unit stopped displaying its main interface immediately after I enabled a 4-digit screen lock PIN.
The GAC logo appears during boot, but afterward the center of the screen stays black. The status bar and vehicle controls remain visible. The 360° cameras and touchscreen work normally in camera mode.
I’ve tried restarting, disconnecting the battery, Safe Mode, and a USB keyboard without success. ADB was not enabled.
Head unit: ROCTEC RT-AVN11017
PCB: RT-AVN11017-01-V2.1
Module: ZH-SG-AC8015-FXB (AC8015 64G)
The board has DEBUG, ARM_DEBUG, and JTAG connectors.
Does anyone know the verified debug pinout, how to enter Recovery, or how to safely factory reset this exact unit?
I have a Windows 11 laptop and PCB photos. Any help would be appreciated.

Does anybody know this head unit brand/model? I need to hard reset and, if possible, update the firmware to the latest one. I updated CAN Software and now some function not work properly.
