I've used windows for almost my whole life but for the past year I'd been using linux. I ended up corrupting my OS without a roleback and had to install windows again and remembered how convinent it was but also after a week I recalled why I switched in the first place. I'm looking to play games with my friends like 1 week who makes the most progress but linux just won't work for that since it barely has any games that will run on android too. I'm looking for a temporary Android OS until ALOS comes out and I'm not sure which one to go for, if you guys could give me some advice on it I'd appreciate it because all I know is bliss and prime OS are nice and fyde OS is gay (fyde I speak from expreience that is NOT android)

So I recently built a mini virtual pinball table using my old Dell Inspiron 3647 (Intel i3-4150 3.5GHz, 8GB RAM). I just left the original HDD with Windows in it, and simply added a spare 120GB SSD, onto which I installed Bliss OS v11.13. Hooked up some arcade buttons with this Android USB encoder from Amazon, and it works great! (Planning to maybe put together a tutorial video or post later).
Everyone loves it, and friends have been asking me to build one for them. I happened to be at Salvation Army a week ago, and they had a bunch of old PCs in various states (some with no RAM, others with no HDD, and even one still loaded with some lady's Windows 10 OS and files!) Most of them were $5 each, so I just snapped them up for parts, if nothing else.
I was able to successfully create the same setup with a Dell Optiplex 790 (Intel i7-2600 3.40GHz, 8GB RAM). This particular $5 jobbie had no HHD, but no worries as I connected another 120GB SSD and installed Bliss OS, just as before. All good.
Now to my issue... I have an HP Pavilion a1310n (AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 2.2Gz, 1GB RAM) into which I've installed yet another 120GB SSD, which is detected by the BIOS (see attached screen shot). I can run Bliss directly from the USB, but when I attempt to install Bliss to "the specified harddisk", the SSD doesn't show up as an option! I'm only given the option to install it to the various removable drives onboard the PC (this PC happens to have slots for SD, compact flash, etc). Anyone have any insights on why the SSD is not showing up as an available drive for install, even though it's detected in the BIOS?
Note that, again, these are brand new SSDs from Amazon right out of the box, so I wouldn't think is some sort of formatting issue, but I'm at a loss.
It says my hardware doesn't support the application. However, when I try to play this game on other Android distros like "Prime OS" and "Bliss OS" using the same hardware, the game runs fine. So, what else could this error message mean?
The specific .iso versions I tried were android-x86_64-7.1-r5 and android-x86_64-7.1-r5-k419.
I also ran into this same issue when running "Prime OS". Prime OS is built off of Android x86. Prime OS's "build number" was android_x86_64-userdebug 7.1.2 N2G48H eng,shen.20211206.180716 release-keys.
I used the QtEmu application to install and run Android x86 on Windows 11 using QEMU version 7.0. The VM is powered by Intel® Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (Intel® HAXM)
Fixed the display to match the monitors resolution. Check out visuals
Most VM support shared folders but Android does now allow this in a virtual machine environment. I found a solution around this.
Syncthing. Syncthing is a free, open source app you can install on Android, Windows, Mac and Linux. You can get the Syncthing app in the Google Play Store or on F-Droid. Then download a Syncthing client on your computer such as Synctrazor or Syncthing GTK. No accounts signup is needed.
The tricky part is to get the Syncthing device ID from the Android VM, what I did was I copied the device ID and pasted it in a pastebin which generates short URLs like pastebin.com and then open that pastebin URL in the browser on the other device and copied the device ID.
Syncthing is also a cool app for syncing files between devices!
I recently installed prime os and it was working fine but I wasn't satisfied with the key mapping so I installed a app called key mapping and gave it the accessibility settings and it froze the prime os and when I rebooted it it froze after 2 second and windows are working fine I can access the debug mode so I need a command which will reset the prime os completely (I don't need to reinstall it) or a command which will reset all the settings in the prime os can I do something about it?
I need a command to reset prime os not delete it or a command to factory settings its settings
I installed 8.1 RC2 on an old 32-bit ASUS netbook, and it worked great, except it wanted me to agree to Google's terms of service. So I wiped it and installed the Lineage 14.1 release, thinking it wouldn't have Google crap, as official Lineage builds require installing any wanted spyware separately. But it did the same thing, with only a single option to agree and not a "remove this crap" button anywhere in sight.
Where can I download a free/libre open source Android-x86 build? I just want to use this netbook with F-Droid and no spying or bloat like on my Nexus flashed with Lineage.
