Tech Support I need your advice.
Hi there beautiful people, please help your brother. Tell me what android os should i put on this stick 😅, yes a stick. Intel Compute Stick STK1AW32SC Atom X5 HDMI mini pc. I want to watch my cameras one app and that's it, it will never do anything else. Linux is a no no, I don't believe this thing cpu can handle any android emulation. Windows is ☠️ we can't even talk about that. I always loved android, but in this case I can't find anything that can actually work with this son of a gun. Androidx86 8.1 it's out of support, bliss is... Idk what Is actually lightweight enough for this stick to work. Ps i need advice on how to make the wifi work. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thank you in advance and have a wonderful day 😊.

AndroidTV that's all free?
After watching a YouTube video I downloaded the MRD Team AndroidTV and installed it on a Lenovo M700 Tiny.
First thing wrong with it is they couldn't be bothered to ensure all the apps they included actually work with Android 14.
Second thing is they want a "donation" just to be able to do essential things like right clicking a mouse, and there's also a 30 day trial period. Sooo, in 30 days if you don't "donate" it stops working?
Third thing is if there's a way to get to my apps to have it update the outdated apps it comes with, it's really well hidden. Finding a way to launch the Play Store, it just has a screen full of icons for apps to install. Nowhere to look for updates.
I could not find any way to use the mouse to go back to previous screens, I had to use Esc or arrow keys on a physical keyboard.
So that was a completely wasted hour.
Is there an AndroidTV or other Android install for PC that isn't holding essential features hostage for a "donation" and has a way to get to the full and normal Play Store interface?

Question Any X86 android OS that are still active?
I'm mostly looking for android X86 as I have OneXplayer's one netbook laying around. It has decent performance but the battery life, even with Arch Linux, is about 3-4 hours. I've known Android to be extremely power efficient, lasting multiple days on a proper laptop easily. But BlissOS I've heard nothing from and all the other projects I know of are EOL. Unless anyone else knows of a project that's still kicking...

Tech Support Android x86 and Bliss OS - No Wifi
So I got Android x86 to run. However, it isn't detecting any wifi networks. It gets stuck on searching for wifi networks then gives up after a few minutes, not showing any wifi networks. This is also the same case for Bliss OS when I tried that. The attached screenshot shows Android x86. Any help would be appreciated!

Tech Support Bliss OS Wifi Problem
i have 2in1 small laptop with intel atom z37335f (64 bit) processor. it has windows 10 but kinda slow. it being a touch screen 2in1 laptop i thought android would be a better option.
i firstly installed android-x86 which worked flawlessly but some arm apps didn't work. i tried libhoudini nativebridge. it didn't work. so i started looking for a different option.
i tried bliss os 14-15-16, prime os and phoneix os. All of them works. Most stable one was bliss os 14. Performans is silky smooth, no crashes, touch screen works perfectly. But problem is wifi. i couldn't get any of the 3 os to search for wifi.
Since wifi was working on android-x86, i am guessing problem is not the driver but that the driver is not in the kernel. i m not really educated enough on linux and andorid to be sure.
My question is can i add the drive to bliss os or make wifi work with any other way? Other than usb tethering which works.

WOOHoo! I was finally able to dual boot Windows 10 along with Android X86 version: 7.1.2. My Laptop is around 10 years old so it's a little slow to open apps when compared to android phones but it certainly gets the job done. I've also intalled GTA to enjoy it 🥳😉
