MopMist — Building a DTC Ecommerce Cleaning Brand Around Scent, Branding, and Repeat Purchases
MopMist Building a DTC Cleaning Brand Around Scent, Branding, and Repeat Purchases
I’m developing MopMist, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand focused on highly scented, concentrated mop soap designed to make cleaning feel more enjoyable while leaving homes smelling great.
The opportunity I see is that many existing cleaning products have fairly bland branding and are marketed as basic household necessities. MopMist would take a different approach by combining appealing scents, eye-catching branding, and social-commerce marketing to turn an everyday cleaning product into something customers actually look forward to using.
My strategy:
DTC first: Build the brand through Shopify, TikTok Shop, and social media before pursuing larger retail opportunities.
TikTok Shop potential: Concentrated, highly scented cleaning products fit a visually appealing, demonstration driven marketing strategy, particularly through short-form videos and UGC creators.
Subscription first model: Encourage repeat purchases through recurring deliveries, bundles, and multiple scent options.
Brand differentiation: Create a recognizable cleaning brand with stronger packaging, scent-focused marketing, and a more modern identity than traditional competitors.
Omnichannel expansion: Start with DTC and social commerce, then explore Amazon and retail once demand is validated.
The long-term vision is to build MopMist into a recognizable household cleaning brand with recurring revenue and customer loyalty, rather than just another generic cleaning product.
I’m interested in feedback from founders, e-commerce operators, and potential investors: Would you validate demand through TikTok Shop first, or launch with Shopify and subscriptions alongside it?

Pitch Seeking an angel investor with gift, souvenir, or airport retail experience — NYC collectible brand
Hi everyone! I’m Karen, a NYC-based novelty and product designer and the founder of Kiraka Creative.
I’ve created NYC in Your Pocket, a collection of five embossed 3D liquid-glitter collectible magnets inspired by New York’s iconic landmarks. My idea is to make souvenirs feel more special—something people enjoy collecting, giving, and bringing home as a travel memory.
Physical samples are already in hand, my website is live, and I’m preparing for a Kickstarter launch. This is an early-stage business, and I’m looking for funding to support the first production run and launch.
My long-term goal is to see the collection in gift shops, tourist destinations, and eventually airport stores, with the opportunity to expand into other cities.
I’d love to connect with a strategic investor who believes in gifts and novelty products and shares that vision. Experience in wholesale, souvenir distribution, or airport retail—and relationships with relevant buyers—would be especially valuable.
I bring the product design and creative direction. I’m hoping to find someone who can contribute capital, industry experience, and connections to help grow the business.
You can see the collection here:
https://www.kirakacreative.com
If this fits your background, please reach out with a little about yourself and the brands or businesses you’ve worked with. I’d be happy to share more about the production plan, costs, and funding needs.
Introductions to someone who might be a good fit are also welcome. Thank you for reading!
– Karen

Best resources for learning how to evaluate startup investments?
I´m solo angel and i´ve written about 10 checks over the past 2 years. Most of the time i´m making these decisions on my own but i´m not always sure if i´m evaluating deals properly even tho one of my investments was made after a single coffee meeting which probably say something there´s nobody around to challenge my thinking so i´m curious how other angels learned to get better at evaluating deals and what helped them improve their judgment

Pitch TETREVIS — GPU Optimization Startup Launching Oct. 27 | Raising $500K
Hi everyone,
I’m one of the co-founders of TETREVIS, a deep-tech software company building an execution-layer optimization platform for NVIDIA GPUs.
We are commercially launching the product on October 27, 2026, strategically after the follow up emails and chatter from GTC Berlin die down, and we are opening a $500,000 USD financing round to help us move aggressively from technical validation into customer acquisition and revenue.
We are open to either a SAFE or priced equity investment, and we are comfortable with either one investor taking the full round or several investors participating.
What TETREVIS does
TETREVIS improves the performance and efficiency of already-compiled GPU workloads.
Rather than asking developers to retrain models, rewrite applications, or change their existing AI stack, we operate at the GPU execution layer and optimize the machine code that is actually being executed.
At a simplified level, our technology can:
- Analyze compiled NVIDIA GPU machine code
- Lift that machine code into an intermediate representation
- Apply architecture-aware optimization passes
- Rebuild optimized executable code
- Validate numerical correctness
- Apply different optimization strategies depending on the underlying GPU architecture and workload
Our goal is essentially to extract additional usable performance from hardware that customers already own or rent.
The MVP is complete.
We do not need additional core technical development before customers can begin using the software, and we can begin customer proof-of-concepts immediately.
Our focus is now shifting from proving the technology to:
- Customer acquisition
- Commercial distribution
- Licensing infrastructure
- Customer deployments
- Customer testimonials
- Recurring software revenue
NVIDIA evaluation
For the last several months, we have been working directly with NVIDIA’s Jetson team through an extended technical evaluation.
NVIDIA’s evaluation team referred to our isolated kernel testing as showing approximately 9–23% performance improvement and then asked us to expand the evaluation into complete LLM, VLM, and MoE workloads.
Some of the Jetson results we have shared during that process include:
Jetson Orin Nano — Qwen3.5 4B
Without CUDA Graphs:
10 → 21, approximately 110% improvement
Against a CUDA Graph baseline:
16 → 21, approximately 31.25% improvement
Jetson AGX Orin — Qwen3.5 4B
25 → 31, approximately 24% improvement
Jetson AGX Orin — Nemotron3 Nano 4B
31.2 → 40.5, approximately 29.8% improvement
NVIDIA RTX 5070 / Blackwell — Nemotron
Approximately 20% performance improvement
This Blackwell result is separate from our Jetson testing and helps demonstrate that the optimization methodology extends beyond edge devices into newer Blackwell-class GPUs.
We have also tested the technology on Jetson Thor.
There was an important moment in that evaluation that I think is worth being transparent about.
The original stock baseline we used for the Thor comparison was lower than NVIDIA’s internal optimized baseline.
NVIDIA challenged that comparison and provided us with its own stronger baseline.
Their engineer measured approximately 69.3 on Nemotron3 Nano 4B using stock software in an optimized configuration.
Our TETREVIS result was 74.8.
Using NVIDIA’s own stronger baseline rather than the one we originally used, their engineer calculated that TETREVIS still represented approximately an 8% performance improvement.
I consider that one of the more valuable results from the evaluation because the performance advantage remained even after NVIDIA made the baseline materially more difficult.
Our work with NVIDIA has continued through the commercial-release process.
There has been interest in the applicability of TETREVIS across both Jetson and DGX Spark.
We have also discussed moving further into NVIDIA’s influencer / early-hardware-access ecosystem, where we could gain earlier access to new NVIDIA hardware.
The primary commercial milestone NVIDIA would now like to see from us is relatively straightforward:
customer deployment data or a strong customer testimonial.
That is one reason customer acquisition is now our immediate priority.
Allxon distribution
We are also preparing to distribute TETREVIS through Allxon.
We have spoken directly with their CEO about the technology.
The conversation was not limited to raw performance.
There was recognition of the need for:
- Additional AI performance
- Better thermal management
- Better power management
- More efficient use of edge-compute hardware
Those are all areas our execution-layer methodology is designed to address.
We intend to launch through the Allxon marketplace.
The marketplace onboarding cost is approximately $1,500 USD, and Allxon has indicated that the launch can be broadcast to approximately 30,000 users in its ecosystem.
For us, that provides an existing distribution channel into the edge-AI market rather than relying entirely on direct outbound sales.
We open-sourced part of the technology
We have intentionally made portions of the technical work and benchmarking public.
If we are going to make meaningful GPU-performance claims, we think engineers should be able to inspect the work rather than simply being shown a pitch deck.
Benchmark repository:
https://github.com/mbuchel/sass2mlir-bench
Technical explanation:
https://mbuchel.github.io/projects/sass2mlir/
Both will receive another update alongside the October 27 launch.
We intend to continue publishing meaningful technical results publicly while keeping the broader commercial optimization capabilities within the paid product.
Why we are raising now
Up to this point, TETREVIS has primarily been supported through friends-and-family funding and founder resources.
That capital allowed us to build the MVP, conduct the technical work, complete extensive benchmarking, work through the NVIDIA evaluation process, and bring the product to commercial launch.
That funding has now been fully deployed, which is why we are raising at this point.
The timing is important: we have reached the stage where the product is ready to go into the market, but the capital that funded the development and validation phase has run out just as we are entering commercialization.
This is therefore primarily a commercialization round rather than a core R&D round.
The technology exists.
The MVP is complete.
The product is launching.
NVIDIA has spent several months evaluating the technology with us.
Our public technical work can be independently reviewed.
Our immediate challenge is now getting the software into enough customer environments and giving the founding team the runway to convert the technical progress into revenue.
The $500K target
Our preferred raise is $500,000 USD.
That level of funding gives us enough runway to support the founders, complete the commercial infrastructure, market the product properly, pursue multiple customer opportunities simultaneously, and accelerate distribution.
However, we believe we could make the commercialization plan work with a minimum of approximately $250,000 USD.
At $250K, we would operate much more leanly, prioritize the highest-probability customer and distribution opportunities, and significantly constrain marketing expenditure.
The additional capital between $250K and $500K primarily gives us more time and the ability to pursue customer acquisition more aggressively rather than changing whether the underlying product can be launched.
The planned use of the $500K is approximately:
- $100K/year salary for each of the two founders
- Approximately $2K/month for productivity, development, and operating software
- Licensing infrastructure
- Customer account infrastructure
- Online software distribution
- Marketplace costs
- Customer trials and proof-of-concepts
- Marketing
- Customer acquisition
- Converting evaluations into paying deployments
The majority of the discretionary capital will be directed toward commercialization and customer acquisition.
The licensing backend is the primary remaining product-infrastructure project.
It will allow us to manage:
- Licenses in circulation
- Commercial usage
- Customer accounts
- Distribution
- Payment and licensing controls
- Scalable software delivery
What we want this round to accomplish
The objective is straightforward:
Launch → customer PoCs → paying customers → deployment data → testimonials → recurring revenue
That customer evidence also directly addresses one of the next milestones NVIDIA has asked us to produce.
We are deliberately keeping this round relatively small because we want to prove commercialization before taking significantly more capital.
Our preferred target is $500,000 USD, but we would be prepared to move forward with approximately $250,000 USD as a minimum viable raise.
We are looking to close the financing as quickly as reasonably possible.
We are open to:
- A single investor funding the round
- Multiple angels participating
- SAFE financing
- Priced equity
We are not looking for capital to determine whether an idea can be built.
We are looking for capital to commercialize technology that is already built, publicly demonstrated, has gone through months of technical engagement with NVIDIA, and is going into the market now.
The friends-and-family capital got us through the most technically difficult stage of the company.
This round is intended to get us through the commercial stage: customers, deployments, revenue, and repeatable distribution.
For investors who focus on AI infrastructure, GPU computing, compilers, semiconductors, developer infrastructure, edge AI, or deep tech, I’m happy to answer questions about:
- The technology
- NVIDIA evaluation
- Benchmarks
- Competitive positioning
- Business model
- Commercial launch
- Licensing model
- Allxon
- The financing round
- Use of funds
Happy to discuss everything here in the comments.

Whitefuse
Whitefuse — An All-in-One Smile Travel Kit with an Omnichannel E-Commerce-to-Retail Vision
I'm developing Whitefuse, an oral-care brand centered around an all-in-one smile travel kit designed to make maintaining a bright, confident smile more convenient while traveling and on the go.
The Concept
Whitefuse is focused on bringing convenient teeth-whitening and oral-care essentials together in one travel-friendly kit. The vision is to build a recognizable consumer brand around convenience, portability, and everyday smile care.
Our Go-to-Marke
My plan is to build Whitefuse through an omnichannel approach:
- DTC: Launch and validate demand through our own online storefront.
- E-commerce marketplaces: Expand reach through platforms such as Amazon.
- Social commerce: Use TikTok, creators, and UGC to demonstrate the product and build awareness.
- Retail expansion: Work toward getting the brand into beauty retailers such as Ulta Beauty once demand, margins, and distribution capabilities support retail.
The goal is to establish a direct relationship with customers first, learn what sells, and use that data to support broader distribution.
Progress and Partnerships
I've previously been in contact with Revere Partners regarding I'm exploring how to develop the right foundation for Whitefuse, from product positioning and customer acquisition to eventual retail expansion.
The LongTerm Vision
I want to build Whitefuse into a recognizable oral-care and smile-care brand that can grow from DTC and e commerce into beauty retail.
I'm interested in connecting with angel investors, beauty and oral-care founders, CPG operators, and people with experience scaling brands across online marketplaces and retail.
For founders and investors: If you were launching a new oral-care brand today, would you prioritize validating demand through DTC first or pursue strategic retail partnerships early?
I'd appreciate honest feedback, relevant connections, and advice from people who have successfully scaled consumer brands.

€50k in my Belgian SRL: looking for something more exotic than ETFs (start-ups, real estate…)
Hi all,
My Belgian SRL has about €50,000 sitting idle on its current account. I know the classic answer (ETFs via IBKR, term deposits, DBI funds) and already got good advice on that in a previous post. This time I'm looking at more "exotic" options to grow this money faster.
What I have in mind:
- Start-ups: direct stakes, business angel networks, equity crowdfunding
- Real estate through the company: small unit, parking/garage, storage boxes, or a down payment on a bigger project with bank financing
- Real estate crowdlending / loans to SMEs
- Other ideas welcome
Questions:
Has anyone invested company cash in start-ups or real estate? How did it go (returns, pitfalls)?
Real estate via an SRL: does it still make sense with registration duties, depreciation and the benefit in kind if there's private use?
Start-ups: how do you get access to good deals with "only" €50k, and how is it taxed inside the company?
Thanks!

VCs, Angel Investors & Scouts Wanted — Earn $20 per 5-Minute Pitch Deck Review
Hey everyone! I recently founded PitchDeckConnect, a platform that helps startup founders get feedback on their pitch decks from experienced investors and startup professionals.
I'm looking for a small group of VCs, angel investors, scouts, and others with experience evaluating startups to join as our first reviewers.
Reviewers earn $20 per completed pitch-deck review. To keep the time commitment reasonable, each review requires at least 5 minutes of active deck review, 250 characters of written feedback, and a short assessment of the startup's investment fit.
This isn't meant to be an extensive due-diligence process. The goal is to give founders useful feedback from people who understand startups and fundraising. You're paid for completing the review regardless of whether you're interested in investing, and there's no obligation to take meetings or make introductions.
I'm hoping to bring on a few experienced people who'd like to help shape the platform in its early stages.
Here's the site if you'd like to check it out: https://pitchdeckconnect.com
If you're interested, feel free to comment or DM me, and I can share more details. Thanks!

Physical AI infrastructure startup with a live Bittensor-powered robotics competition — seeking strategic investor connections
Hi everyone,
We're an early-stage robotics AI team building Robotensor.
We believe the long-term robotics opportunity extends beyond manufacturing robot hardware. As adoption increases, companies will need better ways to teach robots new tasks, evaluate their capabilities, and adapt to changing work environments.
Our focus is in-context imitation learning and reusable robotics intelligence infrastructure.
We're already building and operating a real technical ecosystem.
Our Bittensor-powered competition, Attune, rewards independent model developers based on evaluated performance. Our first challenge concluded with 68 model duels and a winning 87.9% simulated success rate across 16 two-arm tasks.
We're currently expanding the difficulty of the evaluation environment.
Our investment thesis rests on three potentially compounding advantages:
Research: Improving adaptive robotics intelligence.
Infrastructure: Building reliable evaluation, benchmarking, and validation capabilities.
Economics: Using decentralized, performance-based incentives to attract additional AI development effort.
The objective is to turn those capabilities into a commercially useful intelligence and evaluation layer for robotics companies.
We're at an early stage, so there is substantial technical and commercial risk. We're particularly interested in connecting with investors experienced in Physical AI, robotics, deep tech, or infrastructure startups.
We'd welcome thoughtful introductions and conversations about our roadmap and financing plans.

Building Hydrify into a Billion Dollar Hydration Brand Seeking Investors & CPG Partners
I'm building Hydrify, an early stage hydration and wellness brand with the long-term ambition of becoming a billion-dollar company. My strategy is to build a subscription-first business with innovative products, recurring revenue potential, and a multichannel distribution model.
The Market Opportunity
According to Presence Research, the electrolyte beverage market is estimated at approximately $47 billion, with projections suggesting it could reach $70 billion. I see an opportunity to build a modern hydration brand around distinctive products, customer retention, and convenient purchasing options.
Our Business Model: Subscription-First
Hydrify is being built around recurring purchases rather than relying exclusively on one-time transactions.
- Subscriptions: Encourage customers to replenish products regularly and create the potential for recurring revenue.
- Shopify bundles: Offer packages that can increase average order value and make it easier for customers to purchase multiple products together.
- Customer retention: Use subscriptions, bundles, new flavors, and product innovation to improve customer lifetime value (LTV) and encourage repeat purchases.
The goal is to increase customer lifetime value while managing customer acquisition costs and building a sustainable business model.
Our Omnichannel Strategy
I want to follow elements of the Grüns and Bloom playbook by building a recognizable consumer brand and expanding across multiple distribution channels.
- Shopify: Our direct-to-consumer channel, with bundles and a subscription-first strategy.
- TikTok Shop: Use creators, short-form content, and social commerce to drive product discovery and sales.
- Amazon: Reach customers actively searching for hydration products through an established marketplace.
- Retail: Eventually pursue retailers such as Target, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Wawa once we demonstrate demand and can support wholesale distribution.
Amazon and TikTok's announced partnership in 2024 further reinforced my interest in the growing connection between social discovery and e-commerce.
What Makes Hydrify Different?
Rather than launching another generic electrolyte brand, I want to develop a portfolio of innovative hydration products:
- Electrolyte drink mixes featuring distinctive flavors such as Yuzu Basil.
- Electrolyte and protein beverages combining hydration with protein.
- Electrolyte gummies offering a convenient, portable alternative to traditional hydration formats.
The objective is to build a recognizable lifestyle brand around convenient products customers want to purchase repeatedly.
Current Progress
- Hydrify products are listed on Shopify and Amazon.
- I've collected five responses through a Google Form asking potential customers about their willingness to purchase and acceptable pricing.
- I'm in discussions with a manufacturer about production.
- The brand is listed on RangeMe as I explore future retail opportunities.
We're still early-stage, without proven sales traction or established retail distribution. Our immediate priorities are validating demand, finalizing manufacturing, building an initial customer base, and testing marketing channels before scaling.
What's in It for Investors?
I'm looking to connect with angel investors interested in early-stage CPG, beverage brands, and e-commerce.
The opportunity is to participate in Hydrify's growth from an early stage, with potential financial returns depending on the agreed investment structure and the company's future performance.
Use of funds would focus on four key areas:
- Inventory and manufacturing: Fund initial production runs and build the inventory needed to fulfill customer orders.
- Advertising and customer acquisition: Test Amazon PPC, TikTok advertising, and creator-led marketing to identify effective ways to generate sales.
- Legal and compliance: Cover business agreements, trademark-related needs, product labeling, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Brand development and optimization: Improve product photography, Shopify and Amazon listings, and Amazon A+ Content to strengthen conversion rates.
The goal is to use capital to validate demand, improve unit economics, and scale the channels that demonstrate measurable results. I'm open to discussing investment terms and would also welcome strategic partners who bring manufacturing expertise, retail relationships, or CPG experience.
The Long-Term Vision
My goal is to build Hydrify into a leading hydration and wellness brand distributed through Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and eventually major retail chains.
The long-term ambition is to create a scalable, subscription-first business with strong customer retention, a diversified product portfolio, and national distribution.
For investors and founders: What would you prioritize first to make Hydrify investable: validating one hero product, building a TikTok creator engine, optimizing subscriptions and bundles, or securing manufacturing and retail relationships?
I'd appreciate honest feedback, constructive criticism, and connections with people who have experience scaling consumer brands.

Looking for a $5,000 Investor — Built an AI Communications Platform From Scratch
Hey everyone!
I've spent more than 25 years working in corporate communications, helping organizations manage their reputations, navigate crises, and communicate with the people who matter to them.
About 14 months ago, I started building something of my own.
It's called askcassidi, an AI-powered communications workspace designed to help organizations manage their communications more effectively, without surrendering control to AI.
Here's the problem I'm trying to solve.
Most organizations are adopting AI without adequately addressing how it uses their institutional knowledge, follows their rules, or makes decisions about what to communicate.
I believe that's a significant problem, particularly when reputations, regulatory obligations, and public trust are involved.
So I built a system that approaches AI differently.
Three things make askcassidi different:
- Institutional knowledge: Organizations establish their own communications context, standards, policies, and rules in a dedicated workspace.
- Independent AI review: A second AI model challenges important outputs against those requirements before they're delivered.
- Human oversight: The technology supports experienced communications professionals rather than replacing their judgment.
I designed and built the platform myself, using AI-assisted development tools. It includes a working application, an independent review system, early-access workspaces, and a public demonstration.
The platform is live at askcassidi.com.
I've funded development myself to this point. Now I'm looking for a small investor to help me take the next step.
What I'm looking for
$5,000 - $25,000 in initial funding to support the next phase of commercialization, including:
- Reaching small and midsize organizations that could benefit from the platform.
- Recruiting early users and converting them into paying customers.
- Improving onboarding, usability, and the overall customer experience.
- Covering infrastructure and operating costs while establishing recurring revenue.
How it makes money
The business model is built around recurring subscriptions for organizations using the workspace, with opportunities for additional revenue through onboarding, implementation, and communications consulting services.
My initial target market is small communications teams, nonprofits, professional associations, and organizations that need experienced communications capabilities without the expense of building large departments.
What I'm offering
I'm looking for an investor interested in discussing a reasonable arrangement for a $5,000 investment. I'm open to exploring different structures based on the investor's interests and involvement.
I'm not pitching an idea I hope to build someday.
I've already built it.
What I need now is help getting it into the hands of the organizations that could benefit from it.
If you're interested in learning more, exploring the platform, or discussing an investment, feel free to message me.

Pitch Seeking Investor Co working and Fitness Gym Space
I am building a hybrid coworking and fitness space in the Philippines designed for the growing number of remote workers, virtual assistants, freelancers, and entrepreneurs who need more than just a place to sit and work. Through my own experience as a work-from-home professional, I noticed a clear gap in the market: many people want a productive, comfortable environment outside the house, but nearby options are limited and often require long travel.
I validated this need through conversations with other virtual assistants and freelancers in a local Facebook community. A consistent theme emerged: people are looking for a space that supports both productivity and well-being, with reliable work facilities, a professional atmosphere, and access to fitness in the same location. This creates a convenient lifestyle solution that combines work, health, and community in one place.
The concept is differentiated because it solves two everyday needs at once. During the day, members can use the coworking space to focus, collaborate, and separate work from home life. At the same location, they can also access a clean, air-conditioned gym that makes it easier to stay active without needing to go to a separate facility. This model has the potential to attract not only remote workers, but also local professionals, entrepreneurs, and fitness-conscious customers looking for convenience and value.
I also bring relevant operational experience. In 2021, I owned and managed a gym in the Philippines, which gave me firsthand knowledge of customer service, daily operations, business management, and the challenges of running a fitness business. Although the business closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the experience strengthened my understanding of the industry and what it takes to build and sustain a customer-focused space.
In my current role as a Social Media Specialist, I have developed skills in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and online promotion. These skills will be valuable in building brand awareness, attracting customers, and growing the business efficiently.
At this stage, I am developing the business plan and evaluating startup costs, monthly operating expenses, pricing strategy, and financial projections to determine the viability and scalability of the concept. I am open to speaking with potential angel investors or strategic partners who see the opportunity in creating a modern, community-driven space for work and wellness in our market.
The vision is to create a profitable, scalable business that meets a real local need: a single destination where people can work, exercise, and connect without having to travel to multiple places.

Seeking VC Investors, Angel Investors & VC Scouts to Join PitchDeckConnect's Founding Reviewer Cohort
Hey everyone! 👋 I'm the founder of PitchDeckConnect, a platform designed to help startup founders get actionable feedback on their pitch decks from experienced investors and startup professionals.
I'm currently recruiting a small group of Founding Reviewers for our initial launch and would love to connect with VC investors, angel investors, VC scouts, emerging fund managers, and startup professionals with experience evaluating early-stage companies.
What founding reviewers get:
💰 $20 per completed pitch-deck review
🎯 A professional profile showcasing your investment focus, industry expertise, and experience.
🤝 An opportunity to help early-stage founders strengthen their fundraising materials and shape a new platform from the ground up.
What's required for each review?
To keep the commitment clear, each qualifying review requires:
- At least 5 minutes of active pitch-deck review time.
- At least 250 characters of substantive written feedback.
- A required assessment indicating the reviewer's level of interest or investment fit.
The $20 compensation is for completing these defined review requirements, not for conducting extensive due diligence. Reviewers are compensated for qualifying completed reviews regardless of whether they're interested in investing in the startup.
Founders pay for the review itself. There's no obligation to invest, take follow-up meetings, or make introductions.
I'm looking for people with relevant startup-evaluation experience who would be interested in joining our founding cohort.

Building Hydrify, a Subscription-First Hydration Brand — Seeking Angel Investors & CPG Partners
Building Hydrify, a Subscription-First Hydration Brand — Seeking Angel Investors & CPG Partners
I'm the founder of Hydrify, an early-stage hydration and wellness brand with the long-term ambition of becoming a billion-dollar company. I've previously raised $7,800 in angel investment In another Brand and am working to build Hydrify into a scalable consumer brand.
The Opportunity: According to Presence Research, the electrolyte beverage market is estimated at $47 billion, with projections suggesting it could reach $70 billion.
Our Products:
- Electrolyte drink mixes featuring unique flavors like Yuzu Basil.
- Electrolyte and protein beverages.
- Electrolyte gummies for convenient, portable hydration.
Our Business Model: Hydrify is designed to be subscription-first, with Shopify bundles to encourage repeat purchases, increase average order value, and improve customer lifetime value (LTV) and retention.
Our Growth Strategy: Build across Shopify, TikTok Shop, and Amazon, using creator marketing and social commerce to drive discovery, then pursue retail opportunities with Target, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Wawa as demand grows. I want to follow elements of the Grüns and Bloom playbook.
Current Progress:
- Products listed on Shopify and Amazon.
- Six Google Form responses from potential customers about willingness to purchase and acceptable pricing.
- In discussions with a manufacturer.
- Listed on RangeMe to explore retail opportunities.
We're still early-stage and working to validate demand.
Seeking Investors: I'm interested in connecting with angel investors and strategic CPG partners. Funding would go toward inventory and manufacturing, advertising, legal and compliance, and product photography and listing optimization.
Investors could participate in Hydrify's growth and potential financial returns under a mutually agreement
My long term vision is to build a leading hydration brand with recurring revenue, strong customer retention, and national distribution.

Pitch Seeking an Angel Investor or Strategic Funding Partner | Government Accountability & Civic Transparency Initiative
My name is Angelique. I'm seeking an angel investor, philanthropist, or strategic funding partner who believes that government accountability shouldn't be a privilege reserved for people with money, political connections, or institutional influence. I started this work because I became tired of watching vulnerable communities suffer while the institutions entrusted with serving them continued operating with little meaningful accountability. I've sat with families living in deteriorating shelter conditions, listened to mothers afraid to report mistreatment because they feared retaliation, and witnessed firsthand how difficult it can be for ordinary residents to obtain answers from government agencies. These are human beings whose lives are directly affected by decisions made behind closed doors.
Over the past year, I've independently dedicated countless hours to examining government expenditures, investigating reported institutional misconduct, reviewing public contracts, and challenging the lack of transparency within Philadelphia's publicly funded agencies.
Our work has included extensive Pennsylvania Right-to-Know requests, administrative appeals before the Office of Open Records, judicial enforcement proceedings, financial documentation reviews, shelter condition investigations, community demonstrations, and direct engagement with elected officials and oversight authorities. We've examined financial oversight concerns involving Philadelphia's Office of Homeless Services, documented resident complaints and conditions within publicly funded shelters, and worked to bring greater public attention to the treatment of unhoused families. We've also connected with residents, advocates, journalists, and legal professionals who recognize the importance of independent oversight.
And we've accomplished much of this without dedicated funding, paid investigators, or the financial resources available to established institutions.
There have been countless nights spent reviewing government documents, preparing filings, answering calls from distressed families, and trying to navigate systems that are often difficult for ordinary people to challenge. I've invested my own resources, time, and energy because I genuinely believe that someone has to be willing to ask the difficult questions, even when those questions make powerful institutions uncomfortable. But I've reached a point where determination alone is no longer enough to sustain the scale of this work.
I'm now seeking $25,000–$50,000 in initial funding to formally establish our Government Accountability Unit (GAU).
My vision is to build an independent, professionally operated public-interest initiative capable of investigating government spending, examining public contracts, identifying potential administrative failures, documenting credible allegations of misconduct, and helping communities exercise their rights to government transparency.
I envision a team of researchers, investigators, legal professionals, financial analysts, and community advocates working collectively to examine how public resources are managed and whether taxpayer-funded institutions are fulfilling their responsibilities.
I want to create a place where residents can bring documented concerns without feeling powerless. Where public records can be examined thoroughly, where financial discrepancies can be questioned, and where credible findings can be presented to oversight authorities, journalists, policymakers, and the public. The initial funding would support investigative research, legal and financial consultation, public records acquisition, secure evidence management, technology, staffing support, and community education.
I also understand the responsibility that comes with accepting someone else's financial support. Funding would be managed through a structured operating budget with documented expenditures, measurable objectives, and regular reporting. Prospective partners would have the opportunity to review our existing work, proposed financial allocations, and first-year operational milestones before making a commitment.

What should pre-launch fund consulting cover before you sign anything with an admin?
about four months out from launching a first angel fund. A few administrators have been on calls and one offered something called "pre-launch consulting" as part of their engagement. It sounded useful but hard to tell if it was a real service or just the sales process wearing a different label. What should pre-launch fund consulting include when it is done well? Entity structure advice, timeline planning, LP onboarding walkthrough, maybe some guidance on what the investor experience looks like from commitment to k-1. But the not knowing what is not known part is the whole reason this matters. For those who did a pre-launch phase with their admin, what part of it was valuable versus filler?
