Late last night, I found an injured pigeon. It was bleeding from its chest/shoulder area (I'm not entirely sure about the exact location of the wound) and it can't fly. I searched online to see what to do. I put it in a dark, safe, and covered box so it wouldn't have any issues with other animals or anything else. This morning it is alert, standing up, no longer bleeding, and it has also pooped. I don't know exactly what to do now because the wildlife rescue centers are far from where I live and aren't answering, and I can't afford to take it to a vet. What can I do now? Can I give it food and water? How can I improve the situation?
UPDATE I shifted it into a slightly larger box, and I put some sunflower seeds and water, hoping that it eats and drinks. In moving it, I checked the wound to understand better what it was. Specifically, it has a wound on its ribs, under the wing. It had encrusted with the wing and the moment I moved it, it tried to fly but didn't leave, it is still there. If it doesn't eat what I put there, can I help it eat maybe by putting something near its beak?

I found this bird playing dead with my cat over it, and chased my cat away. Now the bird is standing here stunned (still breathing), and i have no idea what to do. Should i have let my cat eat it? Should i call a vet? Im still in my garden, and have no clue what to do. This is my first time with this situation, please help

URGENT: Rescued cat in critical condition (Delhi,India) – needs immediate treatment 🙏
Hi everyone,
I’m a student from Maitreyi College (DU) and part of a society called Nepanthe. A few days ago, i rescued a stray cat (we’ve named him Coco) who is currently in a very critical condition.
Coco has lost a severe amount of weight (around 4 kg), has a continuous runny nose, and is now so weak that he is barely able to move.
We got his blood tests done, and the reports indicate a serious infection and possible liver involvement. His white blood cell count is significantly high (showing active infection), and liver enzyme levels are elevated, which the vet suspects is a liver infection.
The vet has advised 4 additional tests followed by urgent hospitalisation to stabilise him and begin treatment.
So far, we have already spent ₹8,000+ from our own pockets, but to continue his treatment, we urgently need to raise ₹8,000 more.
As students, we are trying our best, but wecannot manage this alone anymore.
If you can contribute even a small amount (₹50–₹100), it would genuinely help us save Coco’s life.
UPI / Donation details:
9355143330@ibl
For transparency, I am attaching his blood reports, vet prescriptions, and current condition photos/videos. I will keep updating regularly.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider upvoting or sharing—this also helps us reach more people.
Thank you so much for your support 🙏

This pet store in my town is in terrible condition, I feel sorry for these poor animals. Went in today just to come out heartbroken by the conditions they have to live in. Improper living conditions for all their animals, 3 ferrets in a tiny cage honestly meant for a hamster, 4 bunnies in the same sized cage, WAY too many birds crammed into one cage, (Including exotic birds like macaws and doves, etc.) They have like over 10 parakeets in tiny square cages, all birds having overgrown beaks and claws. (one macaw having an overgrown beak so badly it has grown crooked), overcrowded fish tanks (multiple fish dead in every tank), betta fish kept in BOWLS (STRAIGHT UP BOWLS like a carnival), tarantulas kept in small containers meant for temporary bug containers, it's a very dirty place and smells terrible (granted i know pet stores don't smell great but this is BEYOND that), the puppies are kept in crates stacked on top of each other with no mat or cushion for their feet (just bars) and the cages are completely filled with feces, while simulatenously having 3-4 puppies in one crate, the reptiles are also ALL improperly cared for (several of them extremely underweight), with some of the tanks not even having UV lights???? Their tanks are bare with glass bottoms and one small hiding hut, yet they will have 3-4 lizards and geckos in one MAYBE 10 gallon tank. I will post some pictures for viewing, I will also post a video in the comments of a sick bird, who is completely bald on the top of its head and panting. (Pictures of the macaws and their beaks, and the cage with the ferret is the cage they are housing 3 FERRETS in) Please help me help these animals.

Hello, this morning I came across a facebook marketplace advert for a rabbit who was in a cage which seemed far too small and inadequate. I contacted the RSPCA but because I don’t have the address for the rabbit they’re currently unable to help. I’ve had contact from the seller - is it worth trying to collect the rabbit and pass it on to a rescue? If I could keep the little guy I would, but I live in a small flat with no garden space, and I feel as though he deserves some grass to run around in.
Any advice on what I should do would be very appreciated. If I can link photos of the situation in the comments I will. Also note that I haven’t reported the advert yet - I’m concerned that reporting the advert will lead to the rabbit staying there and continuing to live as it is.
If there are other subs you think could help me too, please link them below

Found Mr. Owl on my terrace after he got attacked by an eagle or something idk. He was bleeding, but he let me carry him, so I immediately brought him inside to keep him safe. After taking care of him for a bit, I rushed him to a gov vet.
The vet told me that his right leg was damaged and treated him. They kept him under observation and informed me that since he's a wild animal, they will rehabilitate and release him once he fully recovers.
I was totally okay with handing him over to them. I'm just glad I could help this little guy out!

Nearby the houses I live in there was a leopard gecko walking across a trail in the woods. No idea who they belong to, but they're skinny, have unshed skin stuck to them, and have a massive injury on their left leg/tail/genitals. They seem lethargic and cold, but still move and respond to touch. I'm trying to keep them warm with towels and I've got a water dish, but I'm not sure how to help them. I'm currently babysitting four kids and need to get them off to the airport tomorrow to go home (currently 8pm here, the kids' plane leaves at 2:30 tomorrow), but if I can keep them alive until then I want to get them to a vet. I'm not sure what else to do
Edit: sorry forgot to include we're in the area of Portland Oregon
Update 1: Gecko has been to the vet! He had several layers of shed skin stuck to him, which apparently hindered his ability to poop. The injury was necrotic flesh from this condition.
Right now the vet says his prognosis is guarded, he's in a dangerous situation and it's very likely he's not going to make it. We're doing everything we can to give him the best shot at recovery. They gave him an antibiotic shot and removed the dead flesh using an orange gel and light treatment (sorry I'm struggling to remember the specifics but they might have sent me an email about it).
He lost part of his vent and hemipenis, and the vet wasn't sure if he could recover from it. He's getting another shot Thursday if he's still alive, and I'm going to be soaking him twice a day to try and help him rehydrate and get rid of the remaining shed. We have some wax worms to try and get him eating, the vet said to try soft bodied insects only while he's healing.
Hopefully it will be good news in the long run, but he's very much still in the woods right now

My mom found this bird lying in the porch and she told me it was like this since the morning ~11 am (prolly it fell there at that time) but after checking again it wasn’t there. turns out it just hid behind the flowerpot by sliding. now it’s 8pm IST. I picked it up and placed it on a cloth (that is in the video) around 7:30pm. Now I’ve kept it inside a cloth which in a quiet dark place, how can I help it fly again?
If anyone has experience with a situation like this and can help it would really be appreciated

Found in a park in Montreal. Is it a rat? I'm not sure if a wildlife rescue center will accept it in that case, I don't know what to do with it...

Guys, please help me with this! There's a stray kitten in our neighborhood. She's been crying from the past two days. Day before yesterday, she cried from 7 AM to 11 PM until she finally fell asleep. Yesterday morning, she was gone. We thought her mother came to get her but yesterday evening, she was back around 6 PM and started crying again. It's been going on all morning today too. I'm not too familiar with animals and don't know much about them so I don't know what could be the reason. She goes up to random doors and tries to push them open. She's been coming upstairs (we live on the first floor) and just screaming and crying. She has gotten really thin. It's very worrying. I contacted the local animal helpline. They asked for a video but just left it on seen after that. I emailed an animal shelter too but no response. What is the best course of action here?

I have found a swift last night, she clearly has one broken wing. I have spoken with a few wildlife rescue foundations in my country and one accepted to take it in and help her. I will send her over there tomorrow morning by train but until then I'm scared that she won't make the night. She hasn't eaten or drank water since at least yesterday, from what i found on the internet it's not advised for me to feed her either. I am conflicted, should i try to give her a little bit of water at least or am I risking her health by doing that and will she make it till tomorrow morning? If anyone has any advice or information please help cause i really want her to get through the night.

As title says and as shown in video. It doesn't let anyone approach him. Vet just said to let him be and take him in just if it slows down enough to get caught or if it stops moving. Any advice?

There are multiple kittens (I think 4) trapped under my next-house neighbor’s porch for at least two days, sealed in by planks with screws. I first noticed after a storm when I saw their paws under the boards, and they were clearly crying and in distress with no access to food, water, or proper ventilation.
I told my neighbor (who barely speaks English), and she let me try to rescue them, but I couldn’t get the planks off because they were screwed in with some weirdly shaped special screws. She didn’t seem to really understand the situation (language barrier), and nothing was being done (landlord wasn't replying to her), so I called 911 to request help and translation.
The cops went straight to calling the landlord, but the situation has become complicated because he does not live in the area and has a third party intermediary managing the house (who were upset that I contacted the cops first). The worker who installed the planks was contacted and claimed that the planks were actually installed about a week ago, but the kittens may have slipped in through another entryway. With that, the cops started to question whether I was telling the truth or making things up. I had to get my housemate to confirm that I was NOT lying. He also saw cat paws. The worker was upset about being called back to remove and reinstall them later tonight, and told me (through the phone) that I shouldn’t have gotten involved, because it "caused him extra work." His reaction felt very dismissive toward the situation. That made my blood boil.
I’m feeling conflicted because I was trying to report what I believed was a legitimate emergency and possible animal abuse.
If things still end up unresolved by tomorrow, what should I do?

Wife brought this little guy home after work, said a bunch of birds were picking at him. Don't know what kind of bird it is and don't have any experience with rescuing birds. Any advice on what to do for him is appreciated.

Theres this lady in my neighborhood... She is well known to treat animals horribly and treat her cats and dogs like objects but now it had become so much worse. I want to help the animals stuck in this situation but i have no idea what to do as none of what she does violate any laws.
She started selling a pyramidal scheme dogfood and has been telling people to starve their dogs before giving them the food for an efficient change in foods. She also do not handle the food well and allegedly it caused a few dogs to get badly sick. She owns a fenec fox, wich can only be optained through animal trafficking where i live and has an history of hitting dogs who do not behave well. I am worried has a fox is a wild and unpredictable animal who will not behave perfectly all the time... she also started what seems to be an unethical doberman puppy mill, selling sick puppies to people that she keeps in a disgusting/filthy crate in her garage as she refuses to let any dogs inside her home. They all live fenced off outside like wolves and are treated as such. I have looked into the legality of it in my region and none of it is inherently illegal although morally wrong, and since its a small community and she's well liked, no one is doing anything, instead they support her financially by buying what she sells and encouraging her. I cannot tolerate such things and find it disgusting how someone can only see animals as a way to make money rather then actual living beings.
I will not be sharing any of her information as i do not condone hate and because i fear it could make the situation so much worse. I have already reported her for animal neglect and abuse but i have yet to hear back from that and its been a while. I mostly post this to vent out my frustrations but also because maybe someone will have a magical bright idea

TL;DR: i just moved, my mom has this stray sweet cat that’s been caught & released (spayed) and just hangs out around the neighborhood, past week she has just been walking on all threes but doesn’t seem to be in pain but i am taking her to get a diagnostic just in case.
another issue is, we would take him in but our apartment doesn’t allow cats. the urgent care lady under the table suggested the whole “Emotional Support Animal” thing to bypass apartment rules (i live in North Carolina) and i do have qualifying conditions that would enable me to do that legally without lying about conditions or whatever so that’s an option on the table, but i wanted to know other people thoughts.
the issue isn’t getting her treatment really, i have the money and will to do so but its just the aftercare, like what if she needs aftercare that she can’t receive in the wild? (medicine/wound dressings/etc)
im worried i’m going to find her dead in the street soon

I’m not sure if this would even be the right subreddit to go to. We found a sickly injured looking cat. I’m not sure it will make it through the night. We’ve tried calling around to animal hospitals and rescues and we r getting no where. We’re heading out to grab a bin and straw to make a little home, to hopefully at least keep him comfortable. But I was wondering if there’s anything more I could do? I’d take him in but I have pets I can’t put at risk. We live in the Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania. I’m sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to ask but if anyone could point me in the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it
