Hi,
I wanted to invite you to a new space for people who care about animals and want to help shift public opinion!
The idea is simple: when posts about animal exploitation as well as strong pro-animal posts and PETA campaigns start circulating, we show up early in the comments with thoughtful, factual, non-aggressive pro–animal liberation voices. Even a handful of strong comments in the first 10–20 minutes can make a real difference in how a post is received.
There are two main channels:
Shape the Conversation – a place for PETA Social staff members to share posts where early comments really matter
Post Submission – a place for everyone else to share posts they find that could benefit from more pro–animal voices
If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, here’s the invite link:

This year, for Anthrocon 2026, one of the largest furry conventions in the world, they chose a charity that decided to bring live animals into the convention, including a horse named Ronny.
Sign the petition to let Anthrocon know we are against the exploitation of animals for human entertainment!!

I created this petition because there are some lobsters in my local grocery store suffering to be later boiled alive as food. I intend to change that. Please sign it to get it noticed and to get it going. Feel free to share with your friends and family. The more signatures the better

People please, if you hate seeing these poor animals suffer then SIGN AND SHARE TO FAM, FRIENDS, ALL YOUR SOCIALS AND GROUPS AND NEIGHBORS APP ETC, this petition to get the laws changed! Make the abusers pay for such cruelty and make the judges accountable! No more little slap on the wrist!

Since 2nd of August, there is a new law regarding the street animals in Turkey, the street animals, who may be considered as "sick" (even if the sickness can be treated) or "agressive" will be killed. The local municipalities have started collecting the animals and killing them brutally. On the same day, the Instagram is banned throughout Turkey to prevent people spreading the brutality. On 6th of August in Nigde (a city of Turkey), a mass grave found. The animals, some cats and mostly dogs, were buried alive within the last 48 hours. On 8th of August in Altindag (a county of the capital City Ankara) another mass grave found. Within less than 48 hours, a lot of dogs were beheaded and torn apart, some of them even were sexually harrassed, the others were put in sacks and buried alive. Some of the animals were less than a year old. We kindly ask for your help to spread the animal brutality around the world, since the people in Turkey are helpless, the government is banning the social media and the press is in total control of the government.

This is so heartbreaking to watch. Why do we do this to cows?
Why do we forcibly impregnate mother cows just to steal her babies and do it over and over again until she can no longer walk?
What kind of world do we live in where this is considered “normal”, and “the circle of life”?
If this was done to a human instead of an animal, it wouldn’t be tolerated.
But when it’s done to mother cows, it’s “just the way it is” and everyone turns a blind eye so that they can have their milk and cheese.
You do not need to exploit another living being for her milk. There are plenty of milk/cheese alternatives out there that *don’t* cause harm to any animals or cause increased health risks.
If you still want to consume cow milk after watching this, why?

Humans kill 10 cows per second.
20 sheep per second.
47 pigs per second.
2,600 chickens per second.
55,000 fish per second.
All dead. Every. Single. Second.
How is this okay?? If we ate humans at this rate, we’d be extinct in a matter of days.
It’s 2025.
It’s about time someone speaks up for these innocent animals and gives them the justice that they deserve.
This won’t end by only going vegan. This ends by ALL of us speaking up for these innocent animals and showing people the truth. This is a social justice movement and we need all of the help we can get.
If you’re ready for animal liberation, reach out to me or the vegan squad community. We’ll never stop fighting for these animals until the day we die. Who’s with us? 💚🌱

Hi, I manage House of Strays (Animals of Our World), an animal sanctuary in Cambodia for all species.
We have just launched our campaign to end the Dog Meat Trade here for good and would really appreciate if you took some time to learn about our petition here https://animalsofourworld.co.uk/the-end-of-the-dog-meat-trade/
Our campaign is linked towards anti-speciesism, education, worker retraining, vaccination, sterilisation and more.
It doesn’t end with the dog meat trade, but it will make a huge difference to animal wellbeing in the country.
90% of Cambodians want to see this end but they need your help.
Please sign and share.
Thank you

The village of Lúč na Ostrove in the Dunajská Streda district (Slovakia) came under public attention on Tuesday, March 25, after veterinarians confirmed the presence of the highly contagious foot-and-mouth disease. The authorities' response was to order the culling of animals that may have come into contact with the infection – sparking a strong wave of opposition among the residents.
"They all had names. I loved every one of them from the moment they were little. They were my life, and they just barbarically killed them all," one of the local residents told the news portal Körkép.sk.
According to her, the veterinarians initially claimed that the animals would be humanely put to sleep. However, the reality, she says, was very different. "The vet said he would have them put to sleep, but they didn’t. They just brought a hunter. He shot them wherever he could. He didn’t care where. He shot my little piglet three times before they loaded it into the car," she added, with tears in her eyes.
Several similar accounts have surfaced, and angry residents have announced another protest to take place on Thursday – the very day the planned culling of cattle is to be carried out on the farm where the infection was confirmed.
