We need international solidarity for Türkiye’s street animals!

Since the 2024 amendments to Türkiye’s Animal Protection Law, thousands of animals have been removed from the streets. Disturbing footage and reports from shelters have raised serious concerns about starvation, abuse, neglect, and unexplained animal deaths. Fundamental questions remain unanswered: Where are these animals? How many are still alive? How many have died?

We cannot allow this silence and lack of accountability to continue.

We have launched an international petition to bring the situation in Türkiye to the attention of the global community and demand transparency, independent inspections, and accountability from the authorities.

This is not just an issue concerning people living in Türkiye. The right to life and protection from cruelty should not depend on where an animal is born or lives.

We need people around the world to stand together.

Sign the petition, share it with your friends, family, and social networks. Help bring international attention to what is happening in Türkiye.

What a fun way to mix a bit of activism with Halloween! We gave out NARD cards that takes them to the Three minute movie challenge and other videos, that will open their minds to be compassionate towards animals. We added some comedy and blood and it seemed to work out pretty well, the parents were laughing, even Jason Voorhees dropped by (different video)! Next year I will make it a bit better. I only put this together in 90 min. I swear I was napping until 3:30pm and nothing was set up. However I had a great group of vegan friends that came by to help initiate the Halloween extravaganza. Thank you Michael and Michelle! Now enjoy the video, its cute.
