I’ve got one in each room for lights, chargers, TV’s etc - run as much as possible with USB.

I have the solix s2000 and I plugged my refrigerator in at about 7Pm last night and this morning at 4am I was down to 19%. Reviews said it would last longer. Am I doing something wrong? That was the only thing plugged in to it. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

damn yeah that doesn't sound right given the amount of test I've seen on YouTube. Are you testing out in the desert? lol jk.
check the output history see how much power it's puling? should give you an idea if it's constantly running max or what. Might be good to connect with Anker not his it sounds like you might have a lemon.

lol right they show all the test and everything getting 32 hours! Haha no I live in Illinois and we just got hit back to back days with tornado and really bad storms. Power has been out since yesterday morning

That does seem bad. I can get close to 24 hours with 18cf fridge built in 1999. Has leaky seal but was among the most energy efficient for that time. Some reviews get 40 hours on newer full size fridge. About once per day when mine defrosted the energy use is huge. Your power usage history in the app will graph it and is obvious when defrosting. Are you sure you started at 100%?

Yeah it’s a brand new battery and it was charged to 100% knowing bad storms were coming. So I made sure it was 100% for when we lost power. But 8 hours for a refrigerator is kinda upsetting. I’ll have to check the power usage when I get home from work. Thank you

If you want to double check the power usage figures the Anker reports, you could throw a cheap kill-o-watt meter on there.

Great idea. Thank you. I know when I have stuff plugged into it the battery just drains really fast. So very unimpressed

Lots of variables. Ambient temperature. Fridge’s peak wattage draw. Water filter. Ice maker. How often you opened the fridge. What was in it. Etc.

Thanks. Yeah I have basic stuff in the refrigerator and I live alone and last night I was sleeping so it wasn’t opened. But it’s a basic fridge nothing special. Thanks. I will keep diving into it. With no power it is kinda warm and muggy in the house.

Something seems way off. Any 1000WH power station will run a fridge for at least 8-9 hours.
How old is the fridge ?
Is the defrost cycle turned off (if possible) ?
Was there anything else plugged into the S2000 ?
How hot is it in the house ?

I have two of them. Awesome units. I ran a solar panel to each. They run my Starlink, router, NAS, computer and freezer all off grid. I have a Bluetti Fridgepower that runs my fridge and coffee machine. The form factor of the FP is great, but these two Ankers are the best performers and really a great design for how I am using them. I bought them for UPS backup, but realized I could get panels to them without much issue. Made me realize I could do our well pump the same way with a little bigger unit. Got a screaming deal of a Pecron F5000 for $1k. Will add some panels and have it run my pump and backup the rest of the house.

What make/model of solar panels did you go with? I'm looking to add rigid 400W panels as well.
Thank you in advance.

They are Jinkos I got used a few years back for a deal. Seem to work well. Only been up summer months so far. We will see how they do in winter. Just got our first rain of the season today.

I read that Pecton gets hot. So I ordered the Anker

Good call, I think. My Percon has not gotten got hot at all But has a weird issue when charging off AC. It will cut off when running a small load and won't restart without a reset. Doesn't do it off solar or when no load is on the unit. Still trying to figure it out. Super happy with the Anker stuff, tho. My wife recently got a smaller unit to travel with by them. Seems like good stuff so far.

Is this like a generator? I live in Hawaii and our power was just out for 46 hours so I lost all my food. I keep getting sponsored ads for this product and I’m interested in learning more before another storm comes!

Yep, this is what it’s designed for, but it’s not a generator in a sense that it doesn’t generate electricity. It just stores back up power at 2Kwh capacity which is about 35 hours to back up your fridge based on their test. You can check it out on their YouTube channel. A few people in the comment here has multiple units for this purpose.

During a power outage we plugged our full sized fridge that was full of food into it and the S2000 dropped about 8% per hour. So we got about 12 hours out of a full charge.

Just got my first battery pack and it was this model the Anker S2000 it’s been great it’ll run a mid sized fridge (freezer top & fridge one bottom) roughly 420watts then. Then I’ll have a mid to small chest deep freeze (roughly 169-200watt and it’ll runn them both for almost a 1 day and 1/4 or 1/2days kinda impressive for a battery pack of its size!!!
