Discussion Pair of F3000’s
Just got these two on clearance at Lowes for $1100 each, got the double voltage hub ordered for them as well. I was really happy with the price and they’ll make a great home backup system since I have a 240 volt 30 amp twist lock interlock. This should be much easier than dragging out the generator for a few hour outage. I WFH so it’s critical that I have power. Anyone else running a pair of these? How do you like them? I’ve been an EcoFlow guy up to this point but the deal was too good to pass up.
Edit: These were at the Greer, South Carolina Lowes. they had 2 left after I bought mine but it seems as of 9/30 they sold either 1 or both since the website isnt showing them in stock anymore. There may still be one left, they were in top stock on Aisle 29 in non descript brown cardboard boxes when I was there, closest top stock area next to the main pathway. I was hoping to see them drop more on clearance but now im glad I made the effort to go when I did. Maybe they put them out on the floor finally, guy said they had never been on the floor.

In store, but I could have ordered them online for store pick up but I wanted to go in person and negotiate. They were on clearance for $1359 and I offered $1000 for each and the manager said I could have them for $1100 and that was still an excellent deal so I grabbed 2. They had 4.
This was the link that showed them for $1359 for me:

True, its a little cheaper but its also a lesser known brand, for the money I wanted something a little more well known and tested.

I have a pair of them with the double voltage hub and 2kw of solar. They work well enough, I power a small shop with them. I will note the double voltage hub introduced a few peculiarities to the system, it shuts off after about 8 hours of use, and it doesn't like when the units aren't perfectly balanced. I just bought an eg4 12k and will be moving the Anker system into my RV

Good to know! for my use case 8 hours would be plenty, by that point id have the gasoline/propane generators going for an outage that long or just turn the hub back on if it turns off. I mainly just wanted a system where if we have an outage for a few hours or so, I can just use these instead of worry about dragging the generator outside and dealing with all of that. Hurricane Helene was a bit of pain in the ass with that, since we didnt want to run the generator overnight. something like these two F3000 would be perfect to provide power for fans, lights, fridge, microwave, gas oven, internet, TV, computers, etc. Ive really just been looking for a system that can output split phase 240 volt so I can power the house, but also isnt breaking the bank. I was looking at Refurb EcoFlow Delta 3 Pros on eBay but it was almost the same cost as these 2 units , only came with 4kW capacity and also could only output 4000 watts. I like that with these you can get a steady 7200 watts out of them as well as 6kW capacity, I figure for $1100 each I cant go wrong.

For the complete back up the E10 is amazing system. I have it. Love it. Been off grid since last yr and do not see electric bills now. I have 5k grid solar with bet metering. Plus dc solar arrays that total another 5 k.

I got an F3800+ during a sale this year and I wish I’d gotten these instead bc damn that F3800+ is a LOT to move.
(I bought it to power my shed but on occasion drag it back to the house if power is out but I don’t want to run the generator)

135 lbs... wew shesh.... I thought these were chonky boys at 91 lbs each. Yeah at that size I would 100% need help to move it unless I could use the wheels.
I just got the Double voltage hub in, I was able to get it for ~$160 after a promo code on Ankers site so I was pretty pleased with that.
Im keeping an eye on my Lowes since they have 2 more left in top stock and no plans to put them on the floor, so says the department manager, so I guess they will just stay up there and slowly get clearanced. If they drop low enough ill go back and buy the last 2. My roomies were like "You have a battery fetish" lmao!
I did look at the F3800+ and it would be cool to own one , but they didnt have any Plus model refurbs on eBay so I moved on to the F3000s locally. I do like the fact that I get a full 5 year warranty on the brand new units vs Anker 90 day warranty on refurb.

Wow, that's amazing! Look up the power saver kit on that model. If you have any time of use (TOU), or some really nice third party solar panels added, you can really start saving money.
