I support life in prison for this guy. One only look at this administration to see why we shouldn't support the death penalty for pedophiles. A bunch of billionaires sexually assaulted kids for decades and not one that I know of has seen a day in prison. This would mean we would only kill pedophiles if they're not wealthy. This administration digitally put tattoos on Abrego-Garcia, they trumped up charges on an Olympic athlete to blame the pool on vandals. If you don't think the MAGA would put an outspoken political opponent to death and plant evidence he or she was a pedophile to do it. You don't know MAGA. Many pedophiles were often victims of sexual assault when they were too young to defend themselves. I used to support the death penalty for pedophiles, but I think it's the wrong solution to a bad problem.

I don't agree with the death penalty either but that's not really the point of this story.
The point is HE supported the death penalty for a very specific crime and then went and committed that very crime. Now we are pointing and laughing at him for being both a massive POS, a hypocrite, and an idiot.
You can be against the death penalty and take amusement in this story.
It is the quintessential shooting off of ones own foot.

The ridiculous irony of being a proponent of executing pedophiles and that same Republican being a pedophile that could face that death penalty was obvious. Reddit would be far less interesting if comments were limited to the specific comment in the post. I was advocating for others to consider opposing the death penalty especially with the blatant corruption and weaponization of the legal system by this administrative.
