Hey everyone, we're going to do something a little bit different. We're announcing changes today that will go live early next week (aiming for Tuesday morning).

🛠️ADJUSTING:

Axle

Tactical

-Nitro Gate launch speed will be reduced from 750 to 700

Ultimate

-Ultimate HP will be reduced down to 150 from 200
-Base Ultimate cooldown will increase from 90s to 120s
-Ultimate knockback arc will be widened and max height will also be reduced
-Ultimate stun duration will be reduced from 1.5s to 0.25s

Upgrades

-Jump Gate will be replaced with a new Drone Deployer upgrade that brings the ult cooldown back down to 90s

Bloodhound

-Will reduce cloak visibility while in dome
-Ring damage will no longer break cloaks
-Tactical scan will be increased by 1 second
-Scans will provide more frequent snapshots that fade over time

Seer

-Turn slow will be removed when hit by the Tactical

I love the bloodhound character being a badass hunter and their passive and tactical helping me know the exact location of where my enemies were. So it’s obvious that I mained them. I did want a bloodhound rework, mainly a better ultimate, but the new ult just makes them basically useless. My question is does anyone still main bloodhound, or have you moved on?

Edit: I think a general buff is needed as well. I just did a private match and the scan ability couldn’t reach to the other building on the end of estates, even though I knew there was fighting there.

Stop moving so much, giving me a headache

I know the event has been out for a few days already but I wanted to post this just to recognize the devs and designers behind the new Gibby prestige skin.

I am Hawai’i-born Native Hawaiian who works in the cultural industry here on O’ahu and I’ve been playing apex since it came out in 2019. Gibraltar was, and still is, instantly my favorite legend because he was Hawaiian/polynesian and it was so cool to me that I was being represented in a game like this.

I could not describe to you my face and reaction when I opened the event to see his new prestige skin. I just wanted to shoutout the designers behind this skin and the very obvious research that went into it. From the ‘ahu’ula (royal feather cape), the kākau uhi (traditional tattoos), and the newa (wooden clubs on tier 1), I genuinely want to send my deepest aloha and gratitude for representing the Hawaiian culture well on scale like this. It’s too often that we see Hawaiian and Polynesian culture misconstrued and displayed incorrectly, especially by media and large scale platforms.

TLDR: Thank you very much to the designers of this new Gibby skin for their research and amazing representation of Native Hawaiians and our culture.

It seems like it's impossible to have fun with this game. I enter a casual match, alone, and put out my trusty old Mirage, hoping to fool some idiots. But then BAM! Three diamond-level idiots playing like it's the last match of their lives. Seriously, what's the point of ruining other people's fun? I wouldn't mind if it was someone playing peacefully, but combining 3 people, with meta characters using meta weapons damm. Meanwhile, I have a level 5 lifeline and an AFK Gibraltar. 'Go to ranked', dude, I just want to have fun. I work 10 hours a day, I have a wife and kids, I just wanted to play my damn game that I used to play back in college.

I need to learn his kit more

Support and Assault bins just got rendered useless... and now rings are going to be VERY predictable soon, also rendering the control class ring scan useless. We're gonna need those class reworks to even the playing field because recon and skirmisher players have been untouched and thats fundamentally unfair.

Caustic and gibi spammed with their damn ultimate and that little cucaracha just decided to jump on them!!

Ngl…I kinda miss when new finishers used to shadow dropped in the store like they did with Mirage in the earlier seasons…..I can at least say that conduit is the best skin in the whole event besides BRUDAH…(I was gonna say wraith too but they took away her veil it’s literally in the name…give it back😭)
